@smokingotter1: The reason it seems like clevernoob is the "end all be all for IT vids" is because his are the most fun to watch. He has the right idea by making it more cinematic, this makes it more likely that people will watch the video because it isn't "boring." Clevenoob helps our cause a lot because the more people that watch the video, the more supporters he/we get. People are not nearly as interested listening to a person talk over a few still images.

We could create one super IT video... one video to rule them all.

I would definitely agree. I love watching prettz's videos. The only problem is that to understand most of his videos you already need to be somewhat familiar with the IT. But don't forget. Some of prettz's videos/findings were used by clevernoob. I think the solution is to have prettz compile all his videos together and have someone else explain what's going on for the newer people.
Edit: I guess I worded my clevernoob post wrong. Of the really long documentary style videos, his are fun to watch.

It's because they show a subset of the evidence for IT at a time. A compiled video should have some kind of introduction and an ending. It would be a good idea to voice it over so that people can just sit and listen. Maybe we can hire that guy who reads the Codex.Chriz Tah Fah wrote...

Edit: As for clevernoob, his videos do give a little too much leniency towards the literal thinking. Him saying "it is possible that..." loses us a little ground sometimes but the amount of evidence he puts forth in his videos counters this I think. It's good that he's trying to stay unbiased but it sometimes sounds like he's biased towards the literal thinking.
Edit again: There has to be some deeper meanings behind Coats. I find it hard to believe that he was only added to show that "things are not as they seem." What other things did he do that had an actual effect on the ending? (besides some of the obvious ones that we know already. eg. "everyone fall back to the buildings").

So why do you trust people who say the Reapers must be crushed and not Saren saying that Shepard and everybody else are going to die?smokingotter1 wrote...

Edit: this really sounds like "one way is always right and changing/listening to the minority doesn't work." But all the evidence points towards destroy being the safest bet.

Going back to prettz's video. While his findings about the Kodiak turning into a Cerberus transport, Coats being in 2 places at once, people contradicting each other, the hats and lack of hats situation etc are definitely interesting. What does it actually boil down to? It basically can only be explained by saying "all of this stuff is amiss because it is a hallucination" meaning it works perfectly!

That's odd wording, no? The Reapers are his remote control killicopters, and that's how he puts it? Then I thought about it for a minute. It's being said in a Reaperized Shepard voice? That's... that's not Shepard talking about harnessing the Reapers' strengths. That's the Reapers talking about harnessing Shepard's strengths.

Have you guys seen this video? Basically it seems IT related, where all the antagonists throughout the series would have chosen control or synthesis (depending on the antagonist, but none of them want to destroy the Reapers), yet all the characters on your side want to destroy the Reapers. Therefore, there is only one choice. [/quote]
No there isn't. BW deliberately made it so that any one of the choices were as valid as the other. We have no way of knowing for sure what the other characters would have chosen if the new information and new options that the Catalyst told Shepard was given to them.
@Sub actually this is probably the most underrated video on youtube in regards to indoctrination. Even though it's not advocating specificially for indoctrination it goes into detail about theme, what the characters in ME have to say in regards to the decision chamber.
Everyone talks about clevernoob like he's the end all be all for indoctrination videos (and ignoring acavyos), this video is way better IMO.
Otter approved.
I agree, this video is brilliant.
at the end when all that left in control and synthesis are Reaper pics, as opposed to every other character in destroy is particularly awesome
