I believe I saw it on the Vancouver map. But I'm not sure which one it was. I didn't see which was chosen. It was the one with the huge ladder in the middle.

What's so bad about the Pulse Rifle though?

I actually think it's a pretty decent weapon.  The one time I successfully solo'ed, that was the weapon I was using (Well, that, and a Krysae that I had just gotten. ).  It was on a Geth Engineer.  Thank the devs for the shield restoring powers of the Geth Turret!

It is generally viewed as a bad gun. I think the Avenger does more damage. (I, personally, love the Avenger) 

Not if you use it as an assault rifle, but it's an MG, and due to the rate of fire (and super stability), it's very good against shields. It's a support weapon and should be used as such. Happens to be great in combo with the Widow, actually.

It's nuts! Flying around and slashing/kicking stuff.
Not to mention the Slayer! He's the combination of both! *goes nuts*

Oh, and the typhoon (mine is lvl 2 btw) is fun too.

I disagree. I would argue that the Avenger is one of the best ARs in the game. But that's just my experience.

Harrier and saber both destroy it.  Mattock is also a great one if you've got a good trigger finger or an auto-clicker.  The falcon is awesome as a stagger and ammo effect delivery system.  Even the phaeston is better than the avenger in almost every way.

Those are all good, as well. Though I don't have the Saber yet
But I wreck with the Avenger, for some reason. The Phaeston is the same basic thing, yes, but heavier.

The Avenger's nice if you're primarily a power user and don't have access to a high-end hornet/carnifex or hurricane. Lightweight, accurate, decent stopping power on most mooks.

Well of course it's bad against armour, that's not it's role. It's a very high rate of fire gun, which means it's good against shields/barriers and bad against armour. Using a Pulse Rifle against an Atlas/Banshee/Brute/Prime's armour is not how you should be using it.

Personally I love the Avenger, my SP playthroughs are almost always Avenger/Predator only, as a Soldier.

okay one did anyone see the fury, in the Hammer landing scene, and some diffrent game scenes that we have not seen at all in SP. And is isn't funny that Anderson is in the MP, when he should ONLY be in the SP. When Anderson is surrounded by the N7 classes.
Also I think Arain theory about  MP in the Sp is starting to come true.

lol. Just did a Firebase White/Geth/Gold run, and we had 3 demolishers, including myself.

We just set up our three pylons in a corner and spammed grenades the entire time.

Was awesome.
