I downmixed them to stereo, stripping out the channels that are just explosions and suchlike, which makes it even clearer.
They're .wav files now, too ;)

M-m-m-much appreciated.
It's very clear, and I still make out "Serve us!".
For the first thing, where Harbinger seems to "shout", it sounds something like, uhm "Shout (Schaut) auf!" (Which would mean "look up" or with more sense "Look up to me"). Doesn't make sense, because I doubt Harbinger would speak German. He's saying something I think, or could be my imagination.

Right, finally looked through those slides. The only thing that strikes me as odd is Jacob with a crying woman in control/synthesis, but not in destroy. Does he lose his baby?

Edit: Now I've checked the sound clip. It's definately 'serve us' and not 'let us help preserve you from those mean old synthetics'.

Well no, that's Brynn (mother of his child) on the other side of the woman also conforting her. Not sure who the woman is, hairstyle says Kelly Chambers but she changed it you convinced her to change identity, the dress says Khalisa Bint-sina-whatever the reporter you slug up to 3 times through the trilogy. Might be an Ex-Cerberus that lost somebody, not enough info to really say for sure.

Listen to the first thing, which is clearly in the front.

I repeated and repeated, and the more I make out "Schaut auf!" (pronounced "shout ouf"), which means "Look up!" or interpreted "Look up to me!".

You mean working for the terrorist organization Cerberus is not good reason enough to go in the bucket?

Shep's a SPECTRE, your status will be reinstated by the council. Shep's mission is NOT ilegal. Working for cerberus as explanation is by far the worst argument I've ever heard.

Even if you choose to not be reinstated as SPECTRE, you move freely around citadell, c-sec and the alliance embassy. Nobody want you arrested. Plus, in the end you save humanity from the collectors ... nope, working for cerberus is not an option.

But we do not need to guess, because C. Hudson explained it in an interview (I posted it this morning in this thread): Shepard is imprisoned for blowing up the relay and killing a lot of batarians during the arrival mission.

Ah right, of course the woman who only owns cerberus clothes apparently is Brynn, my mistake. It's still odd that there would be a different slide for destroy though.

I think it's Oriana, Miranda's sister.
Maybe you get this slide if you lost Miranda?

I thought so too at first, but I was able to get this slide (forget which, Control maybe) and the one where Miranda and Orianna are together looking at data on Reapers on some monitors in the same epilogue. Would make sense if those two were comforting Orianna if Miranda doesn't make it though...But she had a Loyatly Shield in all my playthroughs and all that.

The lack of any kind of caption for the slides really stops them giving the promised closure for me. At the moment we've got 'At some point in the next ten years Jacob comforts a crying woman'. That is totally what I hoped would happen to Jacob post-game.

Peronally, I'd have preferred one that just showed a mako unintentionally reversing over Jacob.

Also, tobi and I were just discussing the Harbinger lines, and the possibility that he comes over all multilingual :D

If someone has video to see the conditions under which you get the two different lines (I think it's EMS related) that'd be great...

Let me combine it.
The first thing >I< hear, is "Schaut auf!" (pronounced "Shout ouf!"), which would be interpreted correctly into English as "Look up to me!" (the direct translation would just be "Look up!").
So from here on we have "Look up to me!".
Then the clearly hear-able line "Serve us!" comes.
Together, it'd be "Look up to me! ... Serve us!". Which makes perfectly sense actually.

Side note: Schaut auf is plural, so in that case, what Harbinger would say then, would be directed at not just Shepard, but all of the soldiers who're running to the Conduit.

I feel like writing my own epilogue captions at the moment. Not for the existing slides, just generic epilogues. I've got one already:
"After the war ended Garrus opened a bar called 'Headshots' on a tropical planet. Local crime rates dropped dramatically soon after."

I approve!

@TSA - those mice are totally worth it, absolutely love mine though most buttons go unusesd for ME3 MP since it's more designed for MMORPGs with lots of skills to keep track of.

Where'd everyone go? We just dropped off the front page.

“Kelly opens a multispecies brothel. The very mention of its existence is banned on over three hundred planets.”

It's extremely slow today. It might be due to the fact we've done most of the speculating we can do with the info given. Maybe until new teasers are released or any new info is squeezed out of any devs! We could always discuss previous stuff?

I made an anlysis of the barcode things BW released on Twitter if anyone fancies a read?

London Calling - The ClashThe ending takes place in London, clash representing the conflict taking place.
Delve deeper into the record, notice some of the tracks:
i) London Calling
ii) Hateful
iii) Death or Glory
iv) Four Horsemen
v) I'm Not Down
vi) Revolution Rock

Now, obviously, I'm looking too far into the album, but it interests me. These tracks strike me as fitting in with the ending. Hatred from and towards the Reapers, the four horsemen of the apocalypse indicating what could happen if we fail. Death or glory, success or total annihilation. Revolution against the norm, the norm being a Reaper victory and thus ending the cycle.

Atomic Weight of Iron

Fe, Atomic Number: 26

Famous iron canyons of Aequitas...another link to indoctrination and the potential Leviathan DLC - if we are right in suggesting the DLC may take place at Aequitas. If it does not, it is still another link to indoctrination, with the device in ME2.

Or if you're mental you could look at it like this (This is just for fun, I don't actually believe this):
26 is the Atomic Number
The crystalline structure is Cubic...cubes have 6 faces...

26/6 is the day the Extended Cut was released - CONCLUSIVE (lol)

UK Secret Service
Provides the government with foreign intelligence - maybe a nudge towards Earth being supplied information from "foreign" planets, maybe but this is a reach. Though we do provide Anderson and Earth with info throughout the game?

Moving on, I suspect it's something to do with Reaper spies within London, purely because the Indoctrination Codezx entry mentions this sort of thing and it makes perfect sense. Coates being the Reaper thrall makes sense, considering he was by himself fighting Reapers for days and so his mind likely would have been weakened...could also fit with why we clearly see the warning sign next to him on the Mako similar to the signs near the kid on Vancouver.

-128.6 FahrenheitVostok Station, Antarctica - -128.6 Fahrenheit the coldest temperature recorded on Earth

Vostok System - Alko, Clomarthu, Nodacrux, Pataiton, .ALKO - Unregistered starship travel, travel not recommended
CLOMARTHU - Could be Earth's twin (size and orbit) but no life
NODACRUX - Very interesting. Abandoned facility with Thorian Creepers (Indoctrination) thus links in with the hinted Leviathan DLC - Also space cows xD
PATAITON - Meh, just a Matriarch writing Tali discovers on ship

Nodacrux interests me greatly. Especially with there being mentions to Thorians in the hinted DLC...this could prove to be a link to these clues

May also just point to Lake Vostok in Eastern Antarcitca, where scientists (Now, in the present 2012) hypothesise new life could be found in the underwater lake...maybe hinting there could be something in the lake that's been hidden for thousands of years...an Ancient species, a weapon, plans? This is purely **** thoughts and bull - I'm sure it relates to the Vostok system, specifically Nodacrux and its Thorian creepers.

Red HerringThe most interesting of all. Red Herring, also known as IGNORATIO ELENCHI...which translates to - which I find absolutely perfect - IRRELEVANT CONCLUSION, or FALLACY OF DISTRACTION.

"deliberate attempt to divert a process of enquiry by changing the subject. For example: "I think that we should make the academic requirements stricter for students. I recommend that you support this because we are in a budget crisis and we do not want our salaries affected."[/i] Here the second sentence, though used to support the first, does not address the topic of the first sentence, instead switching the focus to the quite different topic of lecturer salaries. "

Holy ****, this has got me excited.

Also sorry for my post if it appears stupid, I just went full crazy on this research stuff xD INTERESTING

Any opinions? I workeded hard being a tinhat!

Y'know whenever we discuss the idea of Anderson/Coates/whoever being indoctrinated, no ones brought up the military intelligence thing. That's made me think the idea of a reaper agent might have merit after all.

Anyone got any thoughts on the sound files I posted?

Is it pretty much proven that harbinger says "SERVE US" before shooting shep in the face with a giant laser?

Just read Raistlin's thing about the VI's and it seems Vendetta was either foreshadowing the forthcoming massive retcons, or has been fiddled with in some way to tell you what the reapers want you to think.

I agree with it, but then again I posted something very similar to it about 500 pages ago... and again, not too long ago I mentioned oddeties Regarding it's communications. It behaved like an AI, not a VI. It knows too much, can instantly be understood by every squad mate despite them not having a cypher like Shepard - and Vendetta was not 'on' to 'monitor' communications like Vigil was on Ilos; which is how it learned to communicate.

The comments on the 'cycle' were also almost identical to Liara's diatribe in ME1 with the exception of the 'inferred' master of the cycle, as Vendetta put it.

Funny how the Protheans knew so much for being insta-splintered when the Reapers flooded through the citadel.

Actually, that's a bloody good point.  In ME1 they beat you over the head that Shepard could make out a garbled message from a computer on Ilos while the squadmates couldn't, and that Prothean VI's can quickly translate other languages but only if they are monitoring communications.

Vendetta could be understood instantly, and had been turned off.

And Kai Leng (spit) was there almost on cue just before it spilled the beans about what was going on.  As if he was waiting.

<_<

He was waiting. Remember the scientists in the temple? Slit throats and how Shepard and the squadmates remark that reaper forces wouldn't do that?
