Jessica did say she likes IT. She even has a save with IT in mind for it.

Oh, yes. You're right.

Hasn't she been saying that scince day one?

yeah pretty much if you follow her on Twitter.
Which by the way is dangerous. Thanks to a quote she tweeted I'm watching the movie "Tangled" a lot again after I just broke that habit.

You assume Shepard survived. That could have just been a final breath before he/she died.

No it couldn't. A last breath is so easy to write I'll lose all faith in Bioware if that's what it's supposed to be.

That was not a final breath scene, I have been with a couple people when they have died and they don't inhale they exhale.

That makes sense, but... I don't want to ignore the other part and seem rude, but I'm not sure how to say something without also seeming rude Posted Image *hug*

Meh it's okay, old people die it happens but thank you anyway.

But you know what I mean that was some one gasping for air like they have woken from a bad nightmare.....

It does, I just didn't want to seem insensitive, that's all.

That's exactly what that scene makes me think of Posted Image

Yeah I get night terrors sometimes and I have had ex's tell me I will wake up all of a sudden gasping for air so it reminds me of that.

Night terrors sounds like what happened to Shep, I'd be pretty terrified if I'd just dreamed the ending sequence Posted Image

What does it matter? She's essentially a glorified fan with her own speculations. This chat was a farce. Unless someone of developer or producer level is being questioned, these "chats" are nothing but guesses on the part of community managers.

They don't help much either. All we've gotten from Gamble is 'big plans™' and 'indoctrination theory shows the dedication of the fans'.

They could not comprehend the questions we ask them, and they were not really read for the questions we ask them. So no comment is good, and bad, but they said IT is still alive, so +1 for ITers, and -1 for the literalist.

What did you guys expect? They won't deviate from their previous plan just because of a live-chat. So the only way for them to answer questions about hums (which they had time to come up with answers for about for 4 months) were PR-y answers. I don't think I'd have liked that more.

But at least now it seems oficial that Harbinger didn't say 'serve us' or anything of that nature.

Noted, but anything coming out of community managers' mouths doesn't mean much. Moreover, I can't count the number of times people have dismissed anything out of Jessica or Chris' mouth as lying/misinformed/etc when it didn't conform to IT, so it doesn't make much sense to hold up anything they say that MIGHT conform to IT as true. They're far too unreliable.

IT is very much alive. Perhaps there was not enough time to answer all the questions but still the questions remain. Posted Image

Of course they couldn't / wouldn't answer the juicy questions. But there are some interesting hints and answers in the favour of IT.

Here is a link to all the answers without the question posts, they sum up to 24: Clic me!

My favorite answer from Jessica:

The team went to great lengths to put meaning and layers of metaphor into the game. There's a lot of cool symbolism if you take the time to look for it. Definitely intentional and we want players to decide what
those meanings are for themselves.

To be fair they do have a little more insight. Chris said he is already playing the SP DLC i believe. They prob get to do testing and stuff like that.

HOLY ****!  DOCTOR ELEVEN WITH AN OMNI-TOOL!  HE'LL BE EVEN MORE IMPOSSIBLY AWESOME!  (What can I say, I'm a Doctor Who fan.  Specifically, Eleven.  I love the series, and I've enjoyed every Doctor that I've seen, but Eleven is my favorite.)

"Yes, the Extended Cut should not affect the overall IT as I understand it (however, there are multiple iterations of this popular theory and it's possible that some speculations have been proven untrue). The team went to great lengths to put meaning and layers of metaphor into the game. There's a lot of cool symbolism if you take the time to look for it. Definitely intentional and we want players to decide what those meanings are for themselves. These games are all about player agency so we feel that it would be wrong to provide a "canon" path or one "true" narrative. Ultimately, the work has to stand on its own and players decide what they think is happening."

Yep! They went to great lengths. Me wonders if that includes that famous statement from the Final Hours app that the ending was choreographed to the last details.

"Definitely intentional" intresting don't you think.;)

The phrase "layers of meaning and metaphor," and "lots of cool symbolism" are far more interesting to me. =]

The First Doctor (As in, the original Doctor from the first season.)?  My dad actually owns one of his episodes on VHS.  I need to watch it some time, come to think of it...
