Not to mention that in Control, everything is pretty much the same except the reapers are dictator police. People still have differences and will therefore eventually fight with each other. What's reaper Shepard going to do? Kill the people that fight?

Lets say that reaper Shep intervenes by landing right in the middle of the quarrel and says STOP (or I will destroy you? Would he say that? It isn't really Shepard anymore...). This would solve nothing. The two sides fighting would stop out of FEAR. It does not mean that their differences were sorted out, therefore there will still be problems between those two groups.

Remember that time back in late 2001 when America took all of its super advanced weapons into Afghanistan, and threatened to kill anyone who fought us? And remember how they said 'Well, America has superior technology. I guess we'd better stop'? And thats why Afghanistan has been the paragon of peace for the last 10 years?

What that? You dont remember any of that, because people dont work like that? Did Reaper-Shep lie to me?! :o

A Reaper lied to you?  Oh that never happens, right? <_<  It must just be you. *Sarcasm mode to the max ;)

I skipped reading the content of the earlier leaks because I didn't want to spoil the DLC for myself. I'll probably do the same now.

After the wall of text would you care to provide a Cliff Notes version?

Same, I would just like to know if it partains to the IT and when in the storyline it is.

Also same here. Tried to skip those dialog lines regarding the Leviathan DLC in the EC. Knowing it is something like a Leviathan was actually enough.

Just so you guys know, we still know very little about the DLC

By the way, was thinking about the waking nightmare theory. I think earlier I expressed some confusion over how the beam shuffle and the crucible shuffle could take place in the same environment. If Shepard travelled it once how could they do it again Then it hit me.

It we take my earlier suggestion that the beam is an indoctrination beacon and not a mass relay, then Shepard woke up, made it to the beam, was lifted like they were with the original beacon in ME1 and then thrown back. Hence the rough landing on the 'Citadel'. Then the Control Panel scene would then take place entirely in a dream. And then the Starbrat: "Wake up." Which signals the start of the waking hallucination.

Cool. Glad that your thinking about WNT. Even if it's not true, at least it got people thinking and that was one of my goals.

Could be that your right....could also explain the multiple "dream transitions" during the end.

I do totally believe that the beam doubles as an indoctrination device. All working Reaper tech indoctrinates and the beam IS working. So why people could deny this mystifies me.

I decided to say, "Screw spoilers, I want as much info as I can get (Well, I didn't exactly SAY or THINK it, but that's basically been my mentality since this whole thing started.)," a long time ago.  That said, I don't think I've read the whole leaked script, but I think I've read a good chunk of it.  Let's just say this looks interesting.

They didn't answer what those black tendrils on the Citadel were. The answer would be telling.

All I know about the DLC is that at one point Liara discourages talking to Leviathan too much because, to quote Liara: "I don't want any tentacled creature inside your mind... except me."

Thats all I need to know about the Leviathan DLC to know I'll get it. :D

Wait. Starbrat said that Synthetics would gain full understanding of organics in the synthesis ending. But in the synthesis ending organics aren't organics anymore so what's the point of understanding???

What? There are more than 2 sides...at least to me. Literalist, WNT, and IT. I feel my WNT: EC is a bridge between the literalist and IT sides. Like ME3 there are literalist portions of the game and figurative. And it's not as clear as black and white. Black = literalist. White = IT. ME3 is more of a "grey" and that is why my WNT: EC is "grey" as well. To think it's one or the other is unrealistic.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, or if it has anything to do with IT at all.
In the Vancouver map for multiplayer, there is a Jack 'O Lantern and a Christmas Gift. Maybe Bioware will release something big around that time this year?

Actually, the part that REALLY makes me want to get it, potential indoctrination theory evidence aside, is that exchange between Steve and James about the Harvesters.  You know, the one that includes the line about how sending a transport shuttle against Harvesters would be like sending James against the Reapers on Earth with a pair of brass knuckles?  And then James's retort?  Yeah, day one purchase. ;) (Remind me when it comes out that I want to take James with me on that one.)

OK, I'm going to add my little bit of speculation regarding the Conduit/Decision Chamber overlay from yesterday.  This fits with Waking Nightmare Theory. (Heads up, wall of text incoming.)  My wonder now is, given how well the two match up, maybe Shepard had STARTED breaking free from the indoctrination attempt after the Anderson/TIM scene, and was actually awake but in what is a more literal hallucination (I.E. He's seeing things that aren't there or he's seeing things that are there but he's just not seeing them as they really are.).  Now, if so, then this would open some new possibilities.

That would make the Synthesis beam the "Conduit" beam.  Which means that Shepard would be thrown into the Citadel (The force of the impact from being sent up there being enough to wake him up.), indoctinated (Because he chose Synthesis.), and he would open the arms and dock the Crucible (My personal beliefs are that the Crucible is some kind of Reaper trap and they needed all the fleets in one place to use it to its fullest potential.  That would explain why that brought the Citadel to Earth.), securing Reaper victory.

In Control, Shepard might be walking over to some kind of electrical panel on the side of the Conduit, and if he grabs it, he'll be fried (And indoctrinated for choosing Control.).  At this point, he'd snap out of the hallucination, and he'd be indoctrinated (And possibly in very bad condition.).  Then, even though he'd be too badly wounded to go to the Citadel (Due to being fried by large amounts of electricity.), he could be evac'ed to receive medical attention, and he could be used as a sleeper agent.

In Destroy, Shepard would walk over to some kind of conduit or explosive of some sort, and he would shoot it, presumably, with a Predator.  The pain from the explosion combined with his resistance of the indoc attempt would snap him out of it, but he would be buried under rubble and pretty badly wounded, and he would have to be found by someone else.  This could be why the kid presents the choice of Destroy.  Even if Shepard's will is too powerful to succumb to indoctrination (This is Destroy after all, it's definitely a way to break free from indoctrination.), he can still hurt Shepard when he breaks free.

Finally, Rejection.  In Rejection, Shepard realizes, at least subconsciously, that something is wrong.  So, he refuses to take any of the choices.  This has two consequences.  On a mental level, Shepard has broken free from indoctrination by refusing to take any of the choices presented by Star-Brat.  However, Shepard has NOT received any kind of jolt to snap him completely out of the hallucination.  So, now, Shepard needs something to snap him out of it.  This could be his LI, Anderson (In the event that he doesn't have a LI.), or someone or something completely different.

Now, I know this is a wild hypothesis, and I acknowledge that it might not be the most likely, but I think that something like this would work pretty well.  Also, I give due credit to Arian Dynas for the idea about the "Control" panel ;) being some kind of electric thing (It was in his ending script.).

Bumping for speculation.

Since we're talking about interpretations of the ending from a WNT perspective, I figure now is a good time to bump this.

It's good to find new stuff, some of this will be news, other bits won't be, but I think it shows us how far along they are with SP DLC.

Okay, so some of the leviathan-related stuff has been found already, and
some may make sense regardless, but there's interesting bits here. No
mega-IT news though. It makes it a little more clear what leviathan is
and where events occur. I suspect that the indoctrinated miners are not indoctrinated by Leviathan itself, but that's a hunch.

So, going through the various files, we have:

1- Anderson's speech from the trailer, in subtitles, presumably this should appear in-game at some point.
Interestingly,
it contains a design note for a transition, which may be just part of
the cinematic or may be a note to transition to a level. Probably not
deeply interesting, except that I'm fairly sure we've not yet had a
reason to see this in-game?.
