any suspicious tweets/interviews?

Priestly posted a poll over on the HtL forums asking whether their community "believes in IT" (his words, not mine) or not. Surprisingly, they are 3 to 1 in favor of believing IT.

I dont have the link handy though. Anyone?

I wouldn't say groundbreaking but:
You've got weapon bob in London. (please watch more then the first 6 seconds)
You can hear voices as Sheps head hits the floor including Reaper sounds. They fade out again as Shep regains consciousness.

Now. That's very interesting.

Makes me hope they are actually considering this for the EC.

Actually in the IT context the Catalyst is exactly what he should be, though. The Reapers know what theyre doing, theyve been indoctrinating people for millions of years. Further, Bioware knows what theyre doing, because a lot of people bought into the nonsense. Hell, I did the first time too, as did my best friend.

Architect - explains the details of the situation, as well as his rationalizations.
Starbinger - generalizes the situation, citing absolutes that cant be proven.

Architect - explains the details of Neo's choices, as well as the consequences of each.
Starbinger - briefly lays out Shepard's choices, offering only his opinion on each.

They both excel at what they intend to do. Architect wants Neo to know what's going on so he can make an informed decision. Starbinger wants to bedazzle Shepard (actually, the Player themselves) into being betrayed by his own values when making his choice. Brilliant, really.

I'd argue further but I don't wanna keep going off topic so let's just leave it at that.:wizard:

Lets not forget the one thing Bioware has never minced words on is the fact that they are going to stick with their artistic vision. Meaning whether IT is true or not has been set in stone long before the game's release. The main thing, IMO, that they are going to use feedback for is the details of wrapping up the stories for the characters in the epilogues and whatnot.

Are you saying Starbinger fails at his role of Indoctrinating Shepard? Or the player? I'd say that is on topic, and I'm curious as to your opinion on the subject.

I'm sorry, but the correct answer was Liara throughout all three games. Thanks for playing. ;)

Although personally Liara and MaleShep always felt off to me. If I'm punishing myself by playing MaleShep, its Ashley in ME1, then Tali in ME2 and ME3.

Let's not take up an entire screen with a post about love interests, shall we? Lest we find this topic locked again for being too long and off topic.

Btw anyone thought about Mr. Priestly's real intentions in closing the old thread was so that not all these outdated information were listed in the first post, which is for many users a reason not to look any further as they just say they are false/invalid/not solid.
An updated list of solid points is much more engaging.

I wonder if anyone has asked him why he's asking? Bioware has been extremely annoying with the handling of IT. They were quick to dismiss leaks and other possibilities but they remain vague about this one. To some that would mean that IT isn't true because they don't deny it like the others. To others it's more confirmation of it being true since they haven't denied it.

If they are doing this just for the purpose of having a never ending discussion about their game, I will truly be pissed off. I might even sue for emotional distress.

I think the vast majority of the believers/fans of IT are just afraid to speak out for fear of being bullied by the angry re-takers that want the ending changed entirely, and the angry, hurt people who just think Bioware failed them outright.

My opinion is that he closed it because the conversation slowed down. They want people talking about it whether IT is real or not. If no one is talking about IT then they're either playing another game or on other threads complaining about the ending.

The creation of a new thread only fuels the flames because now people are thinking conspiracy, which will be a topic in itself in this thread.

And there's a difference between "I believe" and "I want to believe". So maybe some of the people who voted "No" would prefer IDT over the actual endings, but are too sceptical...

I think it's a combination of factors, really. They probably did want a fresh, less intimidatingly-sized topic created, but they probably also thought it was amusing to lock it on the page number that matches the year of the start of the Reaper war.

Plus, people were getting successfully trolled by someone making references to reproductive organs.

Im guessing the question was posted on the hold the line site because thats were the majority of the anger has been coming from.... so if THEY believe in IT, then its good to go.

thats what I think anyways.

@HellishFiend
I'd say the player because you will be questioning everything he says e.g. he says "You can wipe out all synthetic life if you want." I asked "Why would I want to do that? I would choose it but not actully want to because I have no choice if the Reapers are still alive in the other options." He twists with Shepard's morals to force him/her to make a decision to become the biggest hypocrit ever with Shepard not even achnowlaging this. So yea due to Shepard's abnormal behaviour, he makes the player question what the heck is going on

Ah crap that just messed things up.

Agreed. If the most vocal of the fans all hated IT, Bioware might start to sweat a little. It looks like theyre in the clear, though.

In my opinion they should create a subforum for IT so we can have a thread for each thing and analyze it to the death. And also to run tests on seashells.
