Also, related link, enjoy.

My favourite ones from that guy are "Miranda has three birthdays this year because she's so special" and "Some of Ashley's best friends are black"

On topic, I thought the arrival fail clip was interesting enough before clevernoob's analysis of it showing how it fits so well with the ending to 3. Especially the sillohette of a figure hobbling towards a light, the same way Shepard does to the conduit/space magic beam.

Well, that little outage has confirmed my suspicions. One day you may see me on "My Strange Addiction"

Yep I was refreshing for an hour before it came back.

I finally managed to start ME1 again and the council just reminded me of Bioware. "You'd step in if the geth attacked a turian colony!" "The turians don't found colonies on the edge of the terminus systems" Way to avoid a simple yes or no.

That was actually the first assumption that I had going in, that he was one of the Tevinters, but, well, he didn't seem evil enough. Misguided? Perhaps, Evil, with a capital E? Not really. His intentions struck me as being in a good place.

Maybe I was just willing to accept the idea of Darkspawn being a bit more friendly for the fact that they were basically unintelligent animals born of the nature of corruption (and the corruption of nature) bound to the will of a twisted and insane god, and this guy just wanted to give them the same kind of choice that humanity has.

Yep, I fell for it.

At least you realize you fell for it.  You wouldn't believe how many people still honestly think that the Architect is just some random hurlock that just became sentient for no reason completely at random and the fact he's full of the same unique deformities as Corypheus means nothing.

But I thought this forum was full of sensible people who listen to logic?

To be honest, Haven't even met this Corypheus fellow yet. Haven't touched DA2 in a while, haven't felt the urge, so I haven't gotten around to Legacy. Definetly will some time before DA3.

That's how I feel about MP.  Would you believe there's a significant number of people that wanted us to fail this operation that gives a permanent medi-gel increase because they're hoping we'd get a "fun twist" as punishment for one weekend?  As if we needed anymore proof that the elitists are physically incapable of caring about anything but themselves, but there it is.

It seems that the in thing at the moment is to go into any thread (whether IT related or not) and saying IT is dead. They never say why or how so I assume they're working under 'if I say it it must be true'.

Quick OT question:

Is anyone else having problems accessing the Multiplayer Manifest on this site?

I wanted to check my unlocked content real quick, but it keeps saying it can't find any multiplayer data for my account. It used to work before, but it's been like this for a few days now.

Not done, but here's a taste;

7 - All That We See or Seem

[Fade in from black... we see the roof of the first Normandy overhead.]

JOKER: Five minutes ETA from the Mu Relay.

[Shepard's eyes snap open and he sits up. He looks to his left. No love interest lying there.]

["What the hell is going on?" "You're not real."]

SHEPARD [YOU'RE NOT REAL]: Joker... we've been to the Mu Relay. Saren's been dead for years.

JOKER: Commander? You haven't been smoking anything unusual? And green? We're going to Illos right now? You know, stop Saren, save the universe and everything, win the affection of pretty girls the galaxy over? All that?

SHEPARD:We already did that. Three years ago. This isn't real. Ash was in the bed beside me.

JOKER: Hey! Woah, commander, I know about your love affair, but no need to go trumpeting about your conquests over the intercom. She might get pissed.

SHEPARD: What are you?

JOKER: Well, my dogtags tell me I'm human, male, age 29. Oh yeah and the whole brittle bones, can't walk without breaking a shin thing.

SHEPARD: You're not real. This is all a dream.

JOKER: Oh yeah? Maybe you're not real! Maybe this is all just my dream and I'm really passed out on the floor of Afterlife, stinking of week old booze and strippers.

SHEPARD: Afterlife?

JOKER: Yeah, you know, that nightclub you've been to a few times, drunk there, met an Asari crimelord. Crime lady? Killed a few people, oh yeah and that whole coming back from the dead thing.

SHEPARD: That's... that hasn't happened yet.

[The door to the CO's quarters slide open, two Alliance Marines in the old uniforms stepping in.]

JOKER: Commander, maybe you better let Mordin check you out, you don't seem to be sounding too hot.

SHEPARD [snatching a Predator from an end table]: I'm not going anywhere.

JOKER: Guys, don't be too rough, the Commander's not in his right mind. Commander, come on, just go peacefully with the nice men. I promise, you'll get an extra helping of pudding in your crazy rations.

SHEPARD [fires a shot, killing one of the marines]: Sorry Joker. Not happening.

[At this point, the player gets control of Shepard and can move through the original Normandy, fighting crewmembers the whole way, weirdly enough, all the crewmembers attacking you look the same. All bear a disturbing resemblance to Coats...]

[Once you make your way to the deck, Pressley confronts you, stopping you at the door just before the main deck with the Galaxy map.]

PRESSLEY: Commander, don't you think this is going a bit far?

["Sorry Pressley, you're dead." "Get out of my head whatever you are!"]

SHEPARD [SORRY PRESSLEY, YOU'RE DEAD.]: Hey Pressley.

PRESSLEY: Commander... can't you think about this for a minute? If you're wrong, you're slaughtering your own men. Come on, let Dr. Chakwas check you out. Maybe it's those damned aliens getting in your head.

SHEPARD: Maybe it is. Ones called Reapers.

[Renegade interrupt: Shepard shoots Pressley, dropping him with a cry and steps over his body, which seems to be bleeding all too real blood.]

SHEPARD: Charles, stand aside. If this is real, I have to make sure for myself.

PRESSLEY: I can't do that commander.

SHEPARD: Out of my way.

[Pressley starts drawing a gun, Shepard shoots him without a second thought, stepping over his body and into the CIC.]

[Except it's not the CIC. Shepard finds himself again in the forested grove. Joker's standing there.]

JOKER: Hey commander. Fancy meeting you here.

["What are you, really?" "Get out of my head."]

SHEPARD [WHAT ARE YOU? REALLY?]: You're not Joker.

JOKER: Says who?

SHEPARD: Me.

[Renegade Interrupt: Shepard shoots Joker in the midriff, dropping him like a bad habit.]

JOKER: Oh my god you shot me! I can't believe you shot me. Shepard, with my bones, I'm dead.

SHEPARD: You're not real...

JOKER: Oh yeah, that's going to be a real comfort at my funeral when you gotta explain that to my dad and sister.

SHEPARD: Y-you're not real. You're not.

JOKER [standing up without any outside aide]: Yeah right. It's all your fault. Like it always is. You couldn't save Mordin/Miranda/Grunt/Ect/, you couldn't save Anderson, you died saving me, and now you kill me yourself. Some hero. You can't save anyone. You killed the Geth, YOU KILLED EDI! Murdered them. You selfish bastard.

[Renegade interrupt: Shepard shoots Joker again and kills him, spinning him around and dropping him. The child comes running out from behind a tree and weeps for his body. Then Shepard wakes up. +2 to Shepard Stress. Go to 8.]

JOKER: You'd rather just pursue your own vendetta against the Reapers when their gifts could mean so much more! It's because of you EDI died! It's your fault!

[Paragon Interrupt: Shepard steps forward and places a hand on Joker's shoulder.]

SHEPARD: If you're real, you'll forgive me for this.

[Shepard punches Joker in the jaw, knocking him cold. The child comes out and points at Shepard before disappearing in a flash of red light and there's the sound of a Reaper Horn.+1 to Shepard Stress. Go to 8.]
