I still don't get why people are so flabbergasted by green space magic when, y'know, husks. There's your precedent. It's not about rewriting the genetic code of all life. It's about making everyone JC Denton, i.e. nano-technologically augmented.

It's ugly. But not impossible.

Paxxton, maybe I'm weird but I'd prefer a troll-less page 2000, to be honest. :P

I can 100% guarantee that the top post on the 2000th page will be a troll

Can you please tell me your defintion of a troll?

Well, I know what MY definition of a troll is.  Any idiot who comes in here saying, "You guys SUCK!  You're so wrong about EVERYTHING!  BioWare SUCKS!  And I'm going to tell you all to stop doing something you all enjoy and I'm going to stop you from making the endings seem like a GOOD thing even though we all KNOW that it SUCKS because I know it sucks and I can't POSSIBLY be wrong!!!! (I'm paraphrasing, but that's the general tone of most literalists that come here.  Not all of them, but most of them.)"

I would laugh if that was post #1 of page 2000

Anyway I gotta go.  I'll try and catch up on the discussion later.

It's been nice talking to some of you...Not so nice talking to others... But that's life. Try to keep in mind that people discussing things and bringing stuff up doesn't make them trolls. It just makes them people with something to discuss that you might not like/agree with.  (I know most of you already know that but some of you don't)

Have fun all.

Arrogant ****. Don't think it's nice I argue with you? That I disagree with you and don't kiss your arse?

There's discussing and then there's talking and twisting other's word around and acting a smug ******. Bringing stuff up is fine but when you refuse to understand what someone says after they;ve written it more than half a dozen times is ****ing pathetic.

But what's weird is that Star-Brat specifically SAY that Synthesis is rewriting the genetic code of all life.  Assuming a face-value interpretation of the endings, we're still left with SPACE MAGIC :wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard:.

Even if the green light was spreading nanite to everyone (which is the most believable exlanation), i still don't get how it's powered by a melting person.

Same as I don't get why shooting a pipe would make it kill synthetics.

All round the user interface of the 'solution' was pretty  poorly designed.

Oh, I know Sub and Epyon aren't trolls.

Sub and I have had...disagreements in the past and stuff but I love him really. Epyon is a stand up nice guy and I love him too. (If I get any genders wrong with anyone I apologise xD)

Unless we assume that the Space Magic dust is actually a big cloud of Nano Machines that Destroy, Control or Synthesize the galaxy?

Hmmm.....

Paxxton help me out here. You seem to be good with nano machines!

I have no idea what you are talking about. There aren't even alternate universes where you get the 2000th ppage first post.Posted Image

Sure, see ya after the first post on page 2000. Posted Image

Can't you see it? You're...you're indoctrinated!

No, I'm in control. No one's taking the first post from me! Posted Image

Maybe we should do a joint first post. The strengths of both, the weaknesses of neither!

That would require jumping into a high-energy beam that burns everything but not Shepard. Posted Image

OK, I had an interesting thought yesterday when I was playing the opening sequence of ME3. We've already mentioned that Anderson taps Shepard in the same place that Shepard starts bleeding after the Anderson/TIM confrontation. However, I had another thought about another small detail in the beginning that is echoed during the endings. In the beginning, you see a dreadnought being blasted by a Reaper. In the Rejection ending, you see... well what do you know? you see the same thing! A dreadnought being blasted by a Reaper! And, based on Megumi's research, it would appear that the dreadnought is destroyed no matter what ending you choose, it's just that you only SEE it happen if you choose Rejection. I don't know if this has any significance, but it's an interesting coincidence none the less. Or is it a coincidence?... ;)

Remember that the only parts directly written by Hudson and Walters was the beginning and end (possibly the citadel invasion in the middle too), it makes sense they'd slip things like that in.

Isn't that only a rumor that got started by that supposed post on some forum made by someone supposedly using Weekes' user account?

ALSO: How did Megumi do that research if we don't see it? Some assets?

ALSO: Hi what's new?

ALSO: How long had BSN been down earlier today?

Yet another reason why I'm pretty certain that the endings can't be real.  The design of the triggers is just frakked up man.

He talks about rewriting the matrix of organic life, not just the genetic code. So cells, organ systems, in addition to genetic code.

"A new DNA". This doesn't necessarily mean replacing deoxyribonucleic acid. DNA is the code that governs the fractal patterns that dictate the growth of an organism. A nanotechnologically augmented organism would also require programming for that nanotech.

Combined, deoxyribonucleic acid and nanotech programming, you get a new code forming the basis of the synthorganism. This is a new "DNA".

Oh, she didn't do anything to fancy, just made a video.  Now, I'd show you the video, but it doesn't appear to be on her YouTube channel.  Weird.  I'll ask here about it later.

I'm going to start trying to find a middle ground where we can all be happy with our intepretations. Might be impossible but it's worth a shot. After yesterday's live chat, it's clear that bioware's originalplan was to have us fill in the blanks, not to figure out some master plan, but to fill it in with whatever we want.

We'll all be right at in the end, so here's no real point in fighting.
