I know twitter isn't considered great information at times but I saw this and instantly thought of ME3 and IT.

CleverNoob/Julian was here, more speculations, and new twitter from Mike gamble. Which is very intresting.

I missed the Twitter post. Link?

What does it have to do with ME3?

Mass Effect - Past, Present and Future

So I watched the whole thing.
They talking about extended cut, then about Earth dlc and multiplayer, then writers of EDI, Thane, Liara, Samara talks about their job, then they answering questions, then scrinsoot of the new DLC (at 52.36).

Highly recomend to wacth at 42.50 and 47.25. They certainly did not expect such questions.;)

Hmmm, around 42:50 Mike Gamble says that "Maybe a giant piece of REBAR could just eventually fall on [Shepard]." Isn't rebar on Earth? :o

Apologies if this has already been discussed...
Maybe it's just me, but, taking a literal viewpoint in the high EMS Destroy memorial wall scene, why would the crew go to all the effort of having the Command Shepard nameplate made and then all gather round the wall only not to put the thing up and then fly off? Surely they'd be flying off as soon as possible to rescue Shep? (again, if it was literal)

The funniest thing is that that "beacon of hope" is only for those who chose Destroy with high EMS. If BioWare really wanted to comfort players who lost their hero they should put the breath scene in more endings.

So... at 43:55 - Chris Hepler on the starbrat: 'When you finally get to the Catalyst, the Catalyst is essentially negotiating with you because "its plan doesn't work anymore"....' (quotations in the original) - woops Hepler? :D

Also, missed the new millenium celebration. :wizard:
How do I get on the list?

Yeah, and I said it yesterday or so: Shepard lost his helmet before entering the Conduit. So nothing "special" either way.

So they set the record straight that the shadows in the dreams are representations of Shepard's memories and losses.

Why thank you, I could have never figured that out on my own...

They just keep insisting on keeping their game literature creme de la creme.

Ha another theme of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" (still watching on Netflix) that is relevant to Mass Effect 3 IT: kids lying with deadly consequences.

Well, that doesn't mean that those shadows aren't indicative of indoctrination.  Things can have more than one meaning, you know.  Especially after that comment from Gamble about how not everything is always what it seems.

It all makes sense now!  The Star-Brat is trying to make Shepard think that all synthetics are witches!

You know, I love it how in the Destroy epilogue, Hackett says that we must remember those who were sacrificed to win, and then they say absolutely nothing about the Geth and EDI beyond her name on the memorial wall.

Maybe she's as in the dark as we are with regards to the truth of IT.  Also, is it just me, or did she look very hot in her Ashley costume? ;)
