I know.  Up to this point, he didn't give two you-know-whats about what Shepard thought about his plan.

I just wanna kill Javik. :(

8280 is nothing, you've got 14 promotions... a friend of mine has 36 and didn't really play the last month because of connection problems. I'm not much a fan of promoting anyway and I got 9.

That's a fun story. You should write a book. Preferably in another language.

It's best when compared to his line on Mars, "I don't expect you to understand, and I'm certainly not looking for your approval."

Now again for the ones who have no clue about music? :D
You can find them in the game files:
biod_end002_510red.Wwise_End002_Streaming.cineanim_end02_flashback_anderson
biod_end002_510red.Wwise_End002_Streaming.cineanim_end02_flashback_joker
biod_end002_510red.Wwise_End002_Streaming.cineanim_end02_flashback_rom

The sound with the "train" would be
biod_end002_520blue.Wwise_End002_Streaming.cineanim_end02_blue_insert

Not that I know much about how to read music, but I dont follow. What do the file names have to do with have or not having a clue about music?

@MegumiAzusa: So I checked it and I got the Stargazer scene on a non-import playthrough.

Check the post of Thorn Harvestar, seems to be bound to the achievement.

Why would it be so?

Makes sense to me. You also gain access to unlocked bonus powers in subsequent non-import playthroughs, remember? Also recall ME1, where achievement bonuses affected all playthroughs, not just your current one.

To clarify: I'm not saying it is actually bound to that Achievement, but it  has the same pre-requisites.

The Stargazer scene requires either:
1) Your game to be an import from ME2
or
2) Your game to be at least your second playthrough

I don't have a clue so I have no idea what exactly he was talking about, but the file names were pointers to where he could find them for further analysis.

Oh, ok. I'm still hoping someone will come up with a solid hypothesis on what significance the note progression, or just the notes themselves, could have.

I just beat ME3 for the second time and after punching my wall for about 15 minutes I decided I'd throw this into the thread because it seems to fit.

The catalyst to an extent is telling the truth. I'll post some of his lines and then what I think of them

My solution won't work any more: Simple indoctrination will not be enough to sway Shepard

You are the first organic to make it this far: You are the first organic to resist this much

You have hope more then you know: You can break free if you're strong enough

Those are the quotes that stood out most. Thoughts.

Nice. I hadnt looked at it that way before. Sounds good, actually. The only one I might disagree with is the last one. I think the "hope" that Starbinger is referring to is simply, in their opinion, a better existence as a new Reaper.

Because he said on Mars he didn't care if Shep believes. It should have been a hint.

Another thing I found odd is when Shepard ask TIM to join his side, TIM struggle a bit then says "I can't do that commander" I can't remember any other time he called Shepard just Commander directly.
he has said it non directly in a mocking way but never directly with a hint of respect. TIM always look down on people and him self as highest in command. thus calling people by name and not by title.

I need to go thru ME2 to really confirm this thou. any one remember any scene that contradict this?

Yet on Cronos Station on a vlog TIM says that he's not considering Shepard as a total loss. So he has a plan for him.

He says choice if you pick the bottom option, and hope if you pick the top option, based on what Shepard says in each.

Good catch, and sounds exactly like something they'd do.  That indoctrinated hanar big stupid jellyfish refers to himself as "I" once, only time a hanar has done that in the series.

On an unrelated note, speaking of promotions, this week's MP event will be another promotional goal.  50,000 for the community, 3 for personal goal.  Also, since we failed Operation Silencer, banshees will spawn more often.  And even in non-reaper games.  Meaning banshees will occasionally spawn with geth or cerberus.  ...  Mother of God.  No. :crying:

It may be so because he's afraid that he's no longer in control and the Reapers have tricked him.
TIM is not evil, he's still a human. Leave him alone! Posted ImagePosted Image

I believe this also.  Especially when he said we're the first organic there.  Shepards responses turn from "if we have no hope we might as well be machines" to "I dunno",  "Maybe" & "Then there will be peace?"

Clearly the illusion of choice throws Shepard off in his weakened state.  He doesn't have Anderson there to say "Bull..."

Hah! I knew keeping all my  classes at level 20 and never promoting them would pay off some day!

Not to mention that's all Shepard really says during the Catalyst sequence which is completly out of character. No questions for me Shepard? Good Good.:alien:

Ok, I just replayed the ending and detected something that's pretty weird...

after the starchild conversation, you get to make your choice, right?

Well, guess what?

Shepard's shadow.

When you move, you should pay attention to Shepard's shadow. It moves in a circle around Shep. But you know what the weirdest part of it all is?

Shep's shadow always points towards control and synthesis. Never to destroy.

Seriously, replay the ending, and pay attention to Shep's shadow! You'll probably immediately see what I mean...

They'll get into a raging catfight until a sensible Atlas appears and breaks it up by killing all three of you.
