Makes sense to me, especially if they're tying the multiplayer into the singleplayer story.

God, I think I hate those things worst of all. An insta-kill unit should not be able to cloak. Awesome dps either at range or in melee, and they can even take a pretty damn good beating considering. Small and fast to boot, unlike every other insta-killer. Must be loads of fun on consoles without having a mouse to aim. Stasis is about their only weakness.

I have not noticed this mentioned yet, so I thought I ought to make light of it. It may have already been mentioned on here, but if it was, sorry about repeating it.
I replayed Arrival yesterday, and I was listening to the audio logs scattered throughout the Project.
“Dr. Kenson: The Project is almost complete. I thought I’d feel a sense of accomplishment but instead… I feel dread. I can’t help but think we are doing something terrible.” Not unlike Shepard feeling a bit apprehensive about destroying the Reapers and the players' initial feelings towards Destroy as well, what with Shepard saying “I don't know...maybe...will there be peace?” as the conversation continues. He is getting made to second guess himself and his goals, exactly what Kenson ended up doing.
“Scientist: I woke up this morning in a cold sweat. The nightmare was back, the one with the enormous starship crawling through the Citadel and all my friends turning to dust. Even now I can see it in my mind. Why won’t this stop?” Almost exactly like Shepard's vision when you run out of time, and also is linked to the nightmares he experiences in 3. There is also another log with a guard mentioning how he knows he is not the only with the "dreams".
“Guard: When it’s silent, when there’s no one else around, I can hear it. Whispers in the back of my mind, I can’t tell what they’re saying. I spoke to Doctor Kenson about it and she seemed to understand. What the hell is going on?” Well, Shepard does hear unintelligible whispers in his dreams and during the TIM confrontation on the Citadel...
Evidence only bolstering the theory that the indoctrination began with Arrival and specifically Object Rho.

I wanna get to the point where I have enough character promotions that I literally start every new game with 5000 EMS if I'm at 100% readiness.
According to math, I need to promote 66.6 (repeating of course) characters. I bet I could do that.

Yeah, I play on console and phantoms terrify me.
Except on my vanguard, oddly enough.
Charging into melee range and then using nova to drop my shields is a surprisingly effective tactic against phantoms, on bronze and silver at least. Have never tried bringing my vanguard into gold though.
Also, on a somewhat related note: the game should automatically give host to whoever is playing a vanguard. Not being host screws vanguards way harder than any other class.

The catalyst to an extent is telling the truth. I'll post some of his lines and then what I think of them
My solution won't work any more: Simple indoctrination will not be enough to sway Shepard
You are the first organic to make it this far: You are the first organic to resist this much
You have hope more then you know: You can break free if you're strong enough
Those are the quotes that stood out most. Thoughts.
I had never thought of the dialogue like that. I like it!

I use the asari adept (not the justicar), and the stasis bubble+throw works wonders on anything thats not large like the altas and banshees.

Only vanguard I can stand to play is krogan. And I mostly do that solo. As for not being host screwing people, have the scorpion? It's tons of fun if you're host. If you're not, it's as useful as a condom to a krogan.

It's armor, not size. If it has an armor bar, it's utterly immune to stasis. So won't work on geth pyros either even though they're no bigger than other geth it will work on.

p.s. I'm still looking for new stuff as well, but all my questions in the last couple of days have gone almost completely unanswered. I understand your frustration.

I cant stand the krogan vanguard. The cooldown on their charge is far too long for my liking.
I much prefer to be a ball of blue energy traveling around the map exploding everything. 'Tis why I only play human vanguards. They have Nova, which is awesome.

ah, so the phantoms, and others have bariors/shields right? wasnt sure.
I also like how the buuble makes the cerebus troops, drop there shields, makes things alot simpler.

Multiplayer discussion never got the old thread locked.
Anyways, we have that theory that multiplayer is somewhat related to IT, remember?
Any discussion of multiplayer is therefore technically sort of on topic.
