Sup? Have I missed anything important? I know I just got here in time for a troll, but that's another matter.

Nice.

I like how that thread achieved the opposite of what it wanted to

But I also find it interesting that Priestly encourages people not to discuss IT if they dont believe in it.

I personnally like Chris. He has always supported us fans. What's wierd is that he claims that he responds to fans PMs. So I sent him my Waking Nightmare theory...then not too soon after there was a large amount of views on them and I have yet to get a response. I would be satisfied with a cool idea, or it's possible or something, maybe even a flat out thing saying I'm wrong, but alas I have yet to get an answer. :crying:

His lack of a response IS a response.  He can't say anything yet until AFTER the reveal.

Been chatting with Andromidus, just had this thought I wanted to share regarding the cut ME2 derelict reaper dialog and possible post-breath-scene outcome:

*BIG SPOILER WARNING FOR LEVIATHAN*

there was originally going to be a line from an indoctrinated person on board, who was essentially a husk.

The reaper had been drifting for 37 million years, "the voices" had gone, and it was talking about calling out and being alone. I think it ended with the line "Join us, and you shall never be alone".

It suggested that the reapers had no use for that derelict reaper and had cut off control.

Here's my theory:

Harbinger controls the reapers (In Leviathan, the Catalyst confirms that Harbinger is the first successful reaper, with leviathan being the very first), and as a result of breaking free of indoctrination you may weaken Harbinger, and since Harbinger appears to be able to control the reapers, perhaps destroying it will end the war.

This has precedent in Mass Effect from Sovereign/Saren in ME1.

From a tactical point of view (what BioWare's plans may be going forward) - I think it makes absolute sense for them to add more clues in upcoming DLC - regarding the ending. (even without actually touching the ending).

It would totally make sense for them to add more hints to give other parts of the game more meaning.

But how do you kill Harbinger? He doesn't seem the time to make such a mistake. Regardless I still am a beliver of the IT.

Don't forget that all the posts in that thread CoolioThane started were deleted before the lockdown. Moderators have that power.

When the Saren/Sovereign link was broken, Sovereign's shields dropped and the Alliance was able to blast some very large holes in it

@ TSA - I was going through the leak you posted a while ago on here. Like a couple days or so. The content further proved my idea on where the DLC will be. In the leak it speaks about a submersible. I also remembered what Liara says about Leviathan. (something about a tentacled creature which is familiar in the form of the Reapers) Well my hypothesis was that the level would occur underwater. And then at SDCC this pic came out that furthered my hypothesis.

http://25.media.tumb...4ssjo1_1280.png

So the Leviathan will be organic and could very be possibly (from the leak text) be an original creator of the Catalyst or at least on of their species. So it is possible that it is not a Reaper like we know. Maybe it was just purely indoctrinated, this way after awhile it can break free from their control after years and years of nonexposure.

If you kill Harbinger, I would rather have the Reapers get there shields knocked out so we can finish blasting the living **** out of them.  Yes, I'm a Paragon, and yes, I REALLY want to be able to finish the Reapers once and for all.  I don't WANT them to be redeemable.  I want then the be complete monsters that deserve nothing more than being blasted into pieces so small, they make their nanites look big.

The way I see it, one of the things in ME3 is that it points out the reapers aren't really "life", or at least not the sort of life to be emulated. It appeared from the cut derelict reaper dialogue that the reapers are under control of something or other, and that without that they are reduced to helplessness.

So I see it as entirely possible that we'll destroy the reapers by defeating Harbinger and shattering their collective, then destroying the individual reapers whilst they're confused. Javik makes very clear that there was nothing to be mourned in destroying the collectors, I see no reason why controlled reapers should not be destroyed...

It is the species that created the "catalyst" AI (although I don't believe it really is the catalyst).
It's also a failed attempt at a reaper, it's what the catalyst alludes to when it talks of having tried and failed to achieve synthesis with unwilling organics.

I edited mine. However that is a possibility. Would make sense on how it can travel in space...might be complicated if only organic.  It just seems to like to swim as well.

That pic reminds me of this from KotOR:

Yknow, the underwater research station, where the nearby machinery was driving the sharks and selkath crazy?

Yeah. :pinched:

I never complained about the elevators. I much preferred them to the loading screens, because I could at least satisfy my ADHD by spinning the camera around like crazy. Now with the load screens I just have to wait.

interesting, following this train of thought, do you think that destroying harbinger would de-activate the rest of the reapers? or would they retain their own thoughts and actions, just without harbingers goals?

Hmmm....for some reason I always get on whenever Arian seems to leave the thread...maybe he's scared of me and my awesome speculations? :P jk. It's just strange that's all.

And for whatever reason, it seems too quiet and empty in the WN Theorists group. No discussion whatsover. :crying: The amount of those joining also seems low too. WHY BSN? WHY?!?! (BioWare must be conspiring against me...they don't want the truth out yet. It's too soon they say. Their master plan has yet to be fully accomplished...

Honestly, the loading screens in ME3 are a huge improvement over the ones in ME2. It takes 3-4 seconds to load. In ME2 - it can take even a minute or longer.
