Well my statement says that during the panning of the camera , if you listen over the music you can here a vague "bell chiming". Now how many clock towers are on the Citadale that you know of? And need I mention you were in close proximity to Big Ben during the beam sequence if I remember correctly. Regardless, I still hear it.

I've got an idea! Consider how the EC somewhat sent a different message on what the Catalyst was. In the original I got an impression that he was a seperate entity from the Reapers and commanded them. On the other hand, in the EC he's no longer a free-willed being but instead embodies the collective intelligence of the Reapers. The "Reaper consensus" governs him. It may not seem as being so at first glance but think about it.

It is not interesting so much that he takes the form of a human boy (AIs can take the form of anything they want, and the child is a manipulation tactic) but what is interesting is how he takes that form specifically. The "catalyst" has to be in Shepard's head in one way or another. Either IT is true, and he is a hallucination, or the literal endings are true, and he can read minds.
