By the by, here's the breath scene audio:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/67ya3o

Separated each surround sound channel and seperately compressed each one through a seriously high-gain compressor.
There are no chimes, but there is what could be some kind of reaper noise, and notably lots of wind noise...

hmm why are there reaper noises if they're supposedly dead ;)

Bad writing ;)

Also, since we know priestly's been playing Leviathan, I'm reading big things into this tweet from ME3's lead designer:

Big content review today on [SECRET]. I'm pretty excited where things are going and to start the next steps.

https://twitter.com/...388953417265152

Naturally they'll be releasing it the first week of august, because I have exams that week <_<

The kid was creepy to my Shepard. Don't go being prescriptive to individual players playthroughs.

He traveled half a mile and up the balcony of an eight story building. After he dissipated from the duct he then traveled through collapsed building debris or swam through a water channel, (there is no other path to the evac zone), and his clothes are spotless. To me that is a little creepy given Shepard's uniform is a mess after traveling through similar collapsed debris.

As for the oily shadows representing the fallen. Sure. By why can't it be both. There are 'voices' and 'oily shadows'. Both things may or may not be associated to Indoctrination, but that is again, up to an individuals interpretation. Just because Mike added some 'clarification' does not automatically invalidate the potential for them to be representative of indoctrination. That would be 'being prescriptive' too, would it not?

I'm not trying to be, but that's probably more to do with the fact that you think he is a Reaper manifestation.

People can have their interpretations, I agree wholeheartedly, I'm just saying BW's intention wasn't to make it that way.

Stating facts... how exactly do you know this? Did someone from BW  call you up and tell you?

@HyperGlass: That white light in the breath scene comes from the Moon (reflected from the Sun).

Oh right. Guess the wave must have cleared the clouds out of the sky like in Doctor Who with the ATMOS.
I can accept that since the beam would have been switched off anyway(which is what they should have done when Hammer charged).
However I must say it can't be that bright, I mean you are buried under rubble so the light would be alot fainter.

If Harbinger's intention is to be to have shadows to represent deceased friendsEarthicans or people he could not save, then Bioware also has to make it appear that way. The true intention behind this remains unknown and thus up for interpretation.

The catalyst has taken a form it considers non-threatening. I don't see how anything we've said contradicts that.

Is there an "opposite" to the Maker? and bla bla. I've been playing DA:O recently.
@paxxton: Like Palpatine from Star Wars. Not the best example but the one at the top of my head.

Flemeth?

Yea I guess she would be suitable but she's not really a "villian".

Well, knowing what I do know about DA3 coming down the pipe, I am willing to bet you Flemeth is involved heavily. In fact, I am willing to be you get to become something LIKE Flemeth.

DA3 multiplayer will focus on dragon versus dragon arena combat.

I'm willing to bet you get to turn into a dragon.

What makes you think Shepard is under rubble? He just lies there among bricks and pieces of concrete.

Technically I would say that assuming the Maker is actually real (which they never prove in game of course) then the closest thing to an "opposite" would be the Old Gods, whom the Maker cast below the Earth (sound familiar?)  Still, it doesn't sound like an actual dichotomy like the god/satan thing, as much as one religion demonizing another, since the Old Gods and the Grey Wardens were around long before the Cult of the Maker sprang up (the Grey Wardens may have been around the same time to be fair)

I don't want to stray off topic but I honestly wanted to know what evidence there is -aside from the fact he never actully appears- to prove the Maker doesn't exist. After all; the Tevinters invaded the Golden City to usurp the Maker's throne long before the Chantry was founded.

Hey guys has anyone checked out the screenshot of the upcoming sp dlc?

Any thoughts or has it already been speculated?

I guess it's just little shot of few blocks of concrete obsuring his/her face and legs. It would seems reasonable later on while Shep is dreaming the Reapers are shooting at soilders attempting to flank them using the rubble causing this rubble to pile on top of other nearby bodies.

I hope Shepard keeps the Atlas, and Garrus modifys the Weapons, and Tali with the Sheilds, and mobility. would be epic to use it in the final battle.

What's the little red dot next to the Atlas? An underwater Reaper fight? That would be strange but fun.

Well from what I can tell, it doesn’t sound like they’re going to be announcing or showing anything at Gamescom. So either Leviathan isn’t finished yet, which I highly doubt, or it’s still in testing, which would make sense considering what Jessica Merizan said during that forum Q&A.

I get the feeling Leviathan is going to be announced or released before Gamescom. It will give the fans going something new to talk about.

Earth MP trailer:
Aside from being quite epic, the trailer is very interesting IMO. For starters, this trailer confirms the MP timeline. The fleets are just about to arrive. This fits with the IT reveal possibly fitting within the MP timeline. Anyway, at 0:23, it looks like instead of Shepard, Anderson, and the squad, they replaced their models with the MP characters. This on its own means nothing; it is reusing assets. What is interesting is at 0:27-0:30 and at 0:38 especially it also looks like reused assets. But from where? There is no Rio SP mission. (Or is there?Posted Image) Let's look into 0:38-0:43 more closely. Assuming this is SP with the models replaced with MP characters, it would most likely be Shepard (judging from the looking-around animation and the camera emphasis on the destroyer-soldier, I would assume this is the replacement for Shepard's model), 2 squadmates and Anderson(?) having already dealt with Coats in London.Posted ImageFurther evidence for this is the lack of Cobras on their backs. IMO the trailer screamed "This isn't over yet!" Anderson's "Until the fleets return" line seemed to me that we have to hold out until "the fleets" arrive, metaphorically. Also, I heard that Anderson's trailer speech is, for the most part, in the EC files. Why they would be there is a mystery to me, as I can't even think of an IT reason for it. If you can, please post it.

So yeah, there you go. Some things to think about! Posted Image

as far as I'm concerned I'm not buying any DLC until I see what affect it has on the ending. if it doesn't start making sense of something then I think I'll pass. contrary to gamestop's logic, it's just as much about the destination as it is the journey.
