As much as I think IT is true, I'm quite skeptical about EC being a post-breath DLC in any significant way. IT is just too big a selling opportunity. What do you think? What would you do if BioWare announced ME4 as the continuation of ME3 the same day they released an "unsatisfactory" EC?

I still say to defeat the bulk of the Reaper forces that are all at Earth, you should just blow up the Sol Relay. Sacrifice the Sol system to save the entire galaxy.
What did Casey Hudson say the theme of ME3 would be? Oh, thats right, "Victory through sacrifice."

"Special Circumstance: Due to the failure of Operation SILENCER, more banshees will spawn with Reaper enemies and might also spawn with other enemies."
How awesome is THAT?? Consequences of our past actions and all.
I still dont fully buy that we failed SILENCER. Seems too convenient that in the game, asari colonies had to be abandoned due to the Reaper attacks, and then we fail an operation to kill reapified asari, and asari colonies have to be abandoned.

i understand that there is no way to save the entire fleet, but saving a good portion of the fleet is what i was saying. If the entire fleet is doomed to the sacrifice earth option, then that would also, in a way, render my efforts to unite them pointless. If there is a way to save a fraction of the fleet however, then sacrificing the earth to save the rest would be the way to go. Well if we sacrifice the fleet we might save the next cycle, but the current one is almost certainly doomed. The fleet at Earth is pratcially everything the galaxy has, if it is destroyed then it dosent matter how few Reapers are left because there will be nothing left to stop them.
Next cycle might be safe, but the current one would one would still have one hell of a problem.
