I saw things on that channel that I can't unsee. Mostly good, some just odd.

I believe Sovereign. He's the vanguard of our destruction; or he was. And what he said was/is true!

Other choice lines:
"pinacle of evolution" - I thought that was synthesis
"bring order to the chaos of organic life" - you've got it all backwards mate
"you exist because we allow it, and you will end because we demand it" - "...after which we'll save your culture in reaper form to protect you from yourselves."

Generally the impression I got from soverign is that the reapers didn't give a **** about organic life, organics only are allowed to exist for their purposes.

Now the catalyst shows up giving the reapers self serving purposes with solutions that would conviently get rid of someone who has been a thorn in their side for some time now. The coincidences are stacking up.

What I'm trying to say is I believe the catalyst, he sound 100% legit.:wizard:

Thats my opinion too. If you watch the Sovereign conversation on Virmire and the catalyst conversation back to back it seems less like a retcon and more like saying the exact opposite of everything.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but if you stand next to Wrex for a few minutes at the FOB, he says some very odd things, most notably:

"Somebody go see if the Quarians have something to eat! All that Turian food gave me the runs."

Needless to say, this is impossible due to the whole dextro/levo-based DNA thing. If Wrex had had any Turian food, he'd probably be dead, and he would never ask for Quarian food for the same reason.

Also, your weapons are completely absent in the FOB aside from when you're first talking to Coates and the few seconds before the turret, although they vanish when you actually get on the turret. So, you go through the whole first part of the FOB, hit the middle point, your guns are on your back like they've been they're all along, and then you get on the turret and they suddenly vanish? Seems legit.

Another is that when you finish talking to Coates he says "I better go meet up with my battalion...." and walks to your left. The ladder is on your right, and the only thing to your left is a hole in the floor.

Lastly, you first gain control of Shepard in the FOB,
James isn't on the ground, and as soon as you slide down the ladder
he's standing in front of some soldiers like he's always been there. A
shuttle did pass, but all it did was drop something to block off the
Reaper forces from getting in. How did James suddenly appear there then?

If the Catalyst would be real and what he says true, the Reapers wouldn't be that cool mystery anymore. I was amazed about what Sovereign said. He was a real "villain". Not some typical Bond-antagonist.
He had power, he was frightening. And when he said, that it's beyond our comprehension, then I accepted that.
I mean, it's beyond our comprehension, so be it. It should stay like that. The Reapers are ancient, and so are their motives.

Have come to the conclusion that twitter-stalking devs is largely fruitless, although it sounds like they're already working on the next thing after Leviathan, since we know that's basically done and certainly long past the prototyping stage:

Krogan are far more resilient than other species and it’s been stated that things that would kill most other species don’t really do much damage to Krogan, they’re sent as ground troops on worlds with toxic atmospheres for crying out loud!

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if a Krogan could eat dextro food and only get the runs. Besides the whole levo/dextro thing is a little inconsistent in the game, one minute it’s ‘if you eat anything levo/dextro based you’re a goner’ and the next it’s ‘oh it’ll only give your cramps or something’.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have the entire thing planned out for next year.

Jessica was attending an internal meeting a couple of weeks back about BioWare's plans for the next year.

Blizzard does the same with World of Warcraft.....huge milestone plan for the next couple of years on content releases.

They've already said that in terms of additional content ME3 is going to surpass ME2 by lightyears. Not exactly their wording though.

Given that, I'm expecting a lot of AAA SP DLCs in the coming months. Doubtful they'll be free.

EDI: "The Krogan will be unable to eat anything on Palavin. They will need food or need to relay on the nutrients in their humps"

Shepard: "Take care of it."

Now, on Earth....

"Someone go see if the Quarians have something to eat. This Turian food ran right through me." - both are dextro-amino based species.

Why when human food is available and would actually be nutritious would he even bother? Even if it were possibly only to give them abdominal issues it provides no sustenance at all and it could cause anaphylaxis and death even for Krogan. Why risk that on the front lines.

If you talk to Wrex before or after the auto dialog he also brain fades on the fact that it was HIS idea to name a baby girl Mordin, not Bakara's

That's two things in minutes that just don't add up. Calm orderly Krogan is a third.

Even if they could eat quarian or turian food without dying or getting seriously ill, why would they? There's bound to be a lot of human food around, and it's better to eat something that is guarenteed to not make you sick and isn't in a limited quantity, like dextro-based food.

And he's shouting it out to the krogan like an order. Not to mention it's an odd joke, an odd place for a joke, and not really Wrex's style of humor, which is more Deadpan Snarker and/or "intimidate people and watch them squirm," for instance Wrex's threats of eating people. :P

I was sifting through YT and found this:

Interesting how the geth want to achieve a similar form to the Reapers. In the latter part Legion says how organics and the geth are similar.

And staying on topic here, does anyone remember pages and pages back when someone mentioned Shepard's eyes going indoc during the beam run? And some of us, including me, thought it was a mod. Did anyone actually find anything conclusive on that?

It only happens with the choice of synthesis or control. Anything before that is a mod.

Yeah I never knew about that either.

Well, I did try to convince folk to get the Final Hours app, at only $2.99 it's a good read, I gave up when folk were ignoring my posts on the subject, one interesting artist impression is Liara comforting Shepard near a pile of rubble with reapers in the background, and I'd say it's London.

I'd love to hold a conversation on the final hours app, but unfortunately as I don't own an iAnything the publishers of the final hours app don't want my money <_<

Kind of like ME Datapad really. You'd think that the Android phones market being 3 times larger would make it an important target for EA/Bioware...

Same here. I would have bought both myself if I owned an iPad of some kind. But, alas, I do not.
