Yeah I never knew about that either.

Well, I did try to convince folk to get the Final Hours app, at only $2.99 it's a good read, I gave up when folk were ignoring my posts on the subject, one interesting artist impression is Liara comforting Shepard near a pile of rubble with reapers in the background, and I'd say it's London.

I'd love to hold a conversation on the final hours app, but unfortunately as I don't own an iAnything the publishers of the final hours app don't want my money <_<

Kind of like ME Datapad really. You'd think that the Android phones market being 3 times larger would make it an important target for EA/Bioware...

Same here. I would have bought both myself if I owned an iPad of some kind. But, alas, I do not.

Neither do I.

Come to think of it, I actually don't use a lot of that stuff...

By the way, strange question - has anyone come across a missile glitcher in multiplayer? I keep hearing that it's a widespread problem and I have yet to see it actually happen...

Thoughts, anyone?

I was sifting through YT and found this:

Interesting how the geth want to achieve a similar form to the Reapers. In the latter part Legion says how organics and the geth are similar.

@Arian's Javik/synthesis post: The only explanation for the lack of visible mass suicide I can think of is that synthesis gave everyone a heightened intelligence and everyone immediately understands/is able to live with the new synthetic stuff. However, this doesn't make that much sense because after being synthesized 95% of the synthesized people looked around and at themselves as if thinking WTF?

Intellect has nothing to do with it. Javik is already highly intelligent. The only way it could work would effectively kill the real Javik and leave a synthesized impostor in his place, his personality and opinions completely altered.

The real question here is, do you think you have the authority to do that to everyone in the milky way?

I heard about it (a rocket glitcher). I don't have the slightest idea what it is.

But there is another weird thing. While playing a Vanguard, power use sometimes lags badly or is not triggered until several key presses.

Apparently, Chris Priestly and Jessica Merizan will be at games-com in Köln this year. Interesting...

Maybe I'll be able to ask him about his personal opinion on IT...

Yes, especially at the EA Community Party, so excited :3
Usually it's hard to get to someone by just visiting the regular "show", I was lucky to meet some Guild Wars staff by accident last year.

tha Skrillex piece is nice!

I hate dubstep.

It sounds fine. But Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites is better (at least the beginning motif Posted Image).

I like the first 20 or so seconds of that song. Not so crazy about the rest.

Heh. The other part is a bit crazy. Posted Image

classical music is still my favourite.

Shepard is most definitely into rock.

Unless of course Shepard is looking for Shepard to see if Saren is into Shepard. Cookies anyone?

Edit: obviously in order to prove Saren is a GEY

I sware no one revives people in mp anymore

I'd say it's because I haven't played mp in a while, but you don't play on xbox. I think. -shruggot-

And staying on topic here, does anyone remember pages and pages back when someone mentioned Shepard's eyes going indoc during the beam run? And some of us, including me, thought it was a mod. Did anyone actually find anything conclusive on that?

It only happens with the choice of synthesis or control. Anything before that is a mod.

The only thing that was weird about it being a mod was that it only showed up once or twice in the video the person posted. And, same person said that it wasn't just occuring in that one video, but several others s/he had viewed. Mostly on femsheps, too, easier to see with her wider eyes compared to maleshep.

Edit: Noop. it was a mod. Checked several videos to be sure and YUP. Mod.

Really? Aaaww, now I'm jelly! I didn't get to go last time, unfortunately. I had to study.

But now I have an excuse to miss out on university, since I have to get my passport renewed!

Have come to the conclusion that twitter-stalking devs is largely fruitless, although it sounds like they're already working on the next thing after Leviathan, since we know that's basically done and certainly long past the prototyping stage:

Thats good news, but Im not expecting much from leviathan, until I see a huge improvement in the ending then Im not interested.

Something tells me its going to be a long time before they start making sense of ME3's ending.

I hope Leviathans effect on the ending is much more important than those extra dialogue lines with Glowy Jones Mcgraw at the end

I don't get it. The EC vastly improved the ending. I'd risk saying it's great now. Dunno what you'd really like to see there.

I'm kind of confused by people who don't believe in IT - who accept the fact that somehow - Shepard managed to not come under the effects of indoctrination throughout 3 full games - even though he was exposed plenty of time to the Reapers.

Shepard (except for Arrival, but that's another story) was with Reaper artifacts for relatively short amounts of time, taking extreme precaution to avoid indoctrination and having done what he has done immediatedly being removed from the area where the artifact resided. Compare that to Saren, the archetypal indoctrinated being, who was on Sovereign for a much longer time with no knowledge of the effects of indoctrination until it was too late. Furthermore, if Shepard is suffering from the effects of indoctrination, then one has to answer why none of your squadmates suffer anything.

But the biggest thing IMO is that there isn't sufficient evidence to show he is in fact being indoctrinated, especially in the first two games. If IT was real, it would seem that they only thought of it for the last game.

What is a relatively short amount of time to you? The Arch monolith could completely indoctrinate with a touch. Instantly. Any being touching it would be reduced to a husk faster than you could cook an egg. (Oh yes, Saren was indoctrinated and sought out Sovereign because of it, not the other way around.) Saren had only contacted a being who had been touched by the Arch monolith, a tiny exposure compared to what Shepard has gone through.

Your squadmates ARE suffering indoctrination. The early stages at least, go visit the human Reaper in the Cerberus base, "veiwing the Reaper itself with superstitious awe" and "Feelings of being watched" come to mind. They even comment on it. Shepard is merely a more advanced case.

He wasn't, in the strictest terms, being indoctrinated in the first two games. He was exposed surely, but he still had the mental and physical strength to resist, you heard Joker, by the time of the Reaper war, Shepard's stress levels are higher than they have ever been in his entire life. As a result of his weakening willpower, symptoms started to appear, much like how you can be a carrier for a disease without coming down with it yourself until your immune system is weakened.

Arrival and the books/comics are canon by the way

I agree but the standard anti_IT objection that Shepard doesn't have to do arrival still stands.

Shepards who did not do Arrival are non-canon, similarly to Shepards who died during the suicide misson.
