Looks more promising than I gave credit for, actually...

Does this mean, they are going to do a javik, Kasumi, and Zaeed movie as well, since we don't really know that much about them.

I was kidin, with Kasumi, and zaeed, but would [ay to see Zaeed take a bullet to the head, and survive.:)

Guys, quick OT question:

How can I upload/link to a custom profile picture?

I registered my games, and activated my player profile, but I see no option to upload a custom picture. At least, I -think- I activated my player profile... When I click 'activate online profiles' it simply takes me to the Multiplayer Manifest profile, and I see no option to activate it.

Why is this so confusing?

You have to use Dragon Age Character Creator and some file-copy wizardry. There's a description on how to do that on BSN but I don't have a link.

Seriously? Incredible.

How can something so simple be so complicated to do? What if I don't have Dragon Age? xD

Bringing this up again.
At the end of the day, Bioware is a canadian firm, I refuse to believe the writers came across what is a relatively uncommon irish phrase and used it without looking into what it meant.

Harbinger wanted your mind from the beginning, for synthesis, but as we see with the Leviathan harbinger can only take control of your mind if you willingly submit on a certain level.

I outright refuse to believe that this line wasn't intended to foreshadow the ending. The modern contemporary meaning almost makes sense in the circumstances, but the origins here really can be interpreted as a warning.

James is not Irish. Garrus brought this up to test if Shepard would remember that James is in fact latino, because Garrus knows that not remembering ethnicities is a side-effect of indoctrination.

(See how stupid that sounds when I do that, masster?)

Well, the fact is they dont actually want you to have custom avatars. Altering your Dragon Age portrait is just a loophole that they tolerate.

Sorry not getting the connection. What was wierd? Other than he says the Reapers got them together, and then corrects himself and says it was Shepard.

The thing is is that Anderson already told Shepard, that he was born in London. And there is no way Shepard will forget that, because we know that Shepard has a good memory because he talks to old friends that Shepard helped since ME1, and he stills remembers every problem he/she did to help them get out of it.

So I say it's a test. In case Shepard is starting to feel not like Shepard. Also Maybe Anderson got a tip from Joker, that Shepard is acting like not his/her self, and you sshould watch out if he/she is okay.

Dear god I cant wait till you stop talking about it somehow being a test. If so it was the worst worst damned test ever. I mean seriously.

Anderson: I was born in London.
Shepard thinking: I already know this, but I'm not gonna interrupt him, he may have simply forgotten that he told me.
Anderson: OMG SHEPARD IS INDOCTRINATED!

If Anderson really meant it as a test he's a god damned moron.

I don't think any of the characters in Mass Effect has ever forgotten anything. Unless you didn't import Shepard. Otherwise the repeat I would think would just be for the audience cause I certainly forgot.

Only thing I found wierd was just the response by Shepard was strange. Like he has never heard it before. And if he was trying to appease Anderson then there were other ways to answer instead of a question. Like "Well then. Let's it take back. For you and all humanity." Something supportive. Not: "Really? I never knew that. You couldn't have ever said that. HERP DERP."

Why not isn't the the endings are test if you believe they are, so why does Anderson just say I was born in London to Shepard again, but in a low tone, and remember Anderson had Joker keep tabs on Shepard, and I think the reason why Anderson did the " I was born in London", was because Joker told Andersn everything after Thessia, and Anderson probable feelt that Sheaprd could use a good chat. So he calls Shepard, but Shepard is feeling like it's all over, but Shepard never felt like this when Earth was taken by the Reapers, nor when the kid died on Earth.

Alliance HQ, Vancouver: "UK headquarter is reporting in Admiral."

Normandy:

"Where are you from originally?"
"Horizon. I studied at Oxford though. My parents are from London..."

Normandy: Anderson: "London. Something big is happening there."

UK HQ was the first place hit and the last thing Shep has on their minds - save the reaper that just made touchdown on the other side of the Fraser river - before being blown half way across the AHQ committee room.

NOT as some 'final important test'. More like prodding Shepard's memories.

If Indoctrination Theory is valid, for example, then everything after the beam is at least a partial illusion, and Anderson could even be alive.

So 1 + 1 = something rather interesting, maybe.

But I'm sorry mate, drawing out the Divine Comedy angle

Pluto/Charon/Cerberus were all taken from classical mythology. You're
probably going to have more luck finding something relevant there than

Hmm, good point. I might be looking to much into it. It seems the ME3 ending or ME trilogy in general fits into a lot of inspiration from all sorts of works. Damn, I want my one elegant explanation with all the loose ends tied.

Anyway, botched video game adapations you say?:wizard:

Oh wait, that's an EA game... here comes the BSN ban!

Masster, from now on when you bring the 'London test' thing up, I'm just going to ignore you. I personally find the whole thing so ridiculous that I feel like if I continue discussing it, I'm going to yell at you, and I dont want to do that.

I'm not gonna ignore other stuff you say, just the stupid London test thing. The same way I try to ignore it when Paxxton extolls the virtue of Control.

That's interesting. I have been looking for a reason for the partial hallucination (WNT) before the beam and that could be the reason. It's the Reapers testing Shepard's memories in preparation for the end in their final attempt for his mind. They want to make sure they get everything right. It has to be as convincing as possible.

Storywise this is an easy fix, this is how I would have wrote Anderson's "test":

Anderson: "Are you indoctrinated?"

Shepard: "Yes... oh wait, I mean no."

Anderson: (Hmm, he said yes, but than he corrected himself and said no.) "Indoctrinatedagentsayswhat!"

Shepard: "What?.... oh wait."

(link doesn't work btw)

But yes, he says it no matter what, and its a conversation that isn't optional.

So either its a script error (which does happen..)

Or something big IS up. Really. Really really.

Makes sense, I mean its CGI so they can't show your version of Shepard. Also symbolism, in Arrival DLC when Shepard sees Reaper Object Rho you see Shepard's helmet on something similar to a pike indicating death. If you fail Arrival in the alloted time you see a more clearer image of Shepard's helmet removed and on a pike like object.

In ME2 you can recover Shepard's helmet, a symbol of his death. Also in the destroy ending if your EMS is low a soldier recovers a helmet symbolizing Shepard's death.

Also if you romance Liara towards the end of ME3 there is a scene where Shepard is inspecting his helmet worried about a "crack."

I know some of you are going to say "ME3 low EMS is not Shepards helmet, well yeah maybe, but again symbolism"

That's an optional conversation. You don't have to talk to Anderson.
