Yeah the conduit stops after you choose destroy the beam dries up. The beam also dries up if you choose refuse.

So why not have her say "This is the only functional shuttle"? Plus the shuttles look fine, if they were destoryed then I wouldn't need the line, I would just see that they were destoryed and I could buy that they weren't functional.

I was sifting through YT and found this:
Interesting how the geth want to achieve a similar form to the Reapers. In the latter part Legion says how organics and the geth are similar.
The Geth were building a Dyson sphere around their sun when the Quarians came and blew up a lot of the construction work. If I know my scifi, a Dyson sphere is an artificial construct designed to surround a sun, simultaneously hiding the suns' light inside (stealth mode...), and providing maximum containment of its energy. In theory, if all the energy of a sun could be contained, it could be fed back into the sun, thus maintaining its form long after similar stars advanced phases.
Reapers are self-contained powerhouses, which apparently do not require refueling. Similar, yes, but Dyson spheres do not roam the galaxy looking for advanced cultures to harvest.

I was playing through ME2 again and noticed something a little wierd. During the first mission right before you meet up with Miranda at the Evac area there are three shuttles on the floor below you. So why is it that Miranda tells you that there is only the one shuttle behind her off the station?
Because the script doesn't necessarily 100% match the level design, or other department works.
Which is why I'd never take ANY Indonctrination Theory 'evidence', anywhere, as absolute truth. Because fact is, Bioware messes up on things.
I never got that "this is the only shuttle left" script. All I got is "We're the only ones left," indicating the people.
Shepard can say: "What about survivors?"
Miranda: "This is the evacuation area. If they aren't here, they won't be."
Jacob: "Shepard, they signed on knowing the risks."
I may have Miranda/Jacob transposed, but that's what I remember. Maybe I'll do another playthrough.

No idea how they're gonna pull off the live aciton movie and manage to satisfy the majority of the fanbase.... Unless they do two movies with male/female Shepards and different choices throughout both. That's not likely though.

You know who would be perfect to direct Mass Effect, Ewe Boll. He's already directed a bunch of video game movies and it's rumored that he's already in talks with EA about movie rights, here's the link.

They already said he wont be.
I can have hope.I think a lot of fans would lose interest if some of the characters (Joker most obviously) are not played by themselves...
They also said its gonna be MaleShep.
MaleShep + FakeJoker = Movie I shall not see.
I would prefer they didn't even do Shepard at all. Red Sand has it right. They're focusing on John Grissom (Played by Mark Meer actually

This film is going to suck wrinkly, fetid testicles.
Let's just ignore it and hope it goes away.
Ill reserve judgement, but video game movies dont exatly have an amazing track record.
Neither did comic book movies.
Until Chris Nolan.
But I still do not like the idea of a Joker who ain't Seth Green.

Yeah, he does the vorcha, for one, and he's great at that. I think he tries way too hard to be a stoic soldier when doing Shep's voice, but Shep isnt a stoic soldier, Shep has emotions.
Best explanation I've seen to date is that Meer plays Shepard, but Hale is Shepard.
Meer lets the player project emotion into what he says. He acts naturally and speaks naturally.
Hale is trying to sound like a badass, and fails. You can hear how forced her lines are.
Meer is natural, but some find him dull. Hale is emotional, but forced.
They're both good, neither is perfect. Get the **** over it.

I agree.
Meer is better to project yourself onto (the only better alternative I can think to him, would be a very well done silent protagonist).
Hale is a little less overall, but she also is often better in more emotionally intimite or intense scenes. In the 'regular dialogue' she can sound forced.
Both are good. IMO Meer is better going renegade (though ME3 brought his paragon to better levels), and Hale is better going paragon (though ME3 brought her renegade to better levels). By NOW, they're both just fine and seem to have a true grasp of where Shepard 'should be'.
And regardless of people's issues with auto-dialogue and lack of player input in ME3 compared to before, I'm sure the design change helped the actors get into their lines more.

This is Eva:

Though, I grant you that if Eva wanted to name her kid Mordin, that'd be really weird.
