This is not the post I'm looking for.

I'm curious what was there.

You are not in the best position to ask for it, paxxton.

1/3 of your posts are edits or scratched. ^_^

Just tried to reaperise Arian's voice.

Damn you Arian and your background noise :D
Although I did discover that your normal speaking voice begins to sound a lot like the narrator from fallout 3 with a bit of tape delay distortion...

That present box is actually a model of a multiplayer pack crate.
We've still not had the opportunity to receive our "present" packs :P

But yeah, it seems strange to have a cake and presents in a hospital - I wonder whether we'll be able to tie this into the SP story somewhere...

I mean if the intent was to indoctrinate the player...

Entirely reasonable.
Also somewhat fits with this reference:

Uhhhh....masster...he says one line from that. Not the entire thing. Besides next time just give a link. Otherwise only get the interesting parts from it or it's just thread spam. (Just letting you know for next time.)

Well I did provid the link, but it's not highlited, but okay. I wanted to post that because Arain is always posting walls of text, and i wanted in.

What's more relevant is where it comes from.

In comedic fake irish:

ti's indeed an Irish quip. But, its rooted in christian lore. For the devil to take your soul whilst you are living, you have to give it to him willingly. From the time you die till ye are in sacred ground interred, your unprotected soul is fair game. Tis why no body is left unprotected by a most trusted friend e'en though the night without repose. A seconds faltering or the invitation in to the those of evil will give the devil his due. Go ye to an Irish wake and try to catch the night watchman asleep at his task. Verily it can't be done. Once the body is encrypted in sacred ground, the devil is deprived of any further opportunity to secure the dead man's soul. The saying says, may you be safely in heaven, buried in sacred ground, before the devil has his last chance to claim your soul.

Seems applicable to the ending, no?

The point being, harbinger has one last chance to take you over to the side of the reapers. It's damn sure going to use it

This is similar to what Garrus says in the FOB.

It's the origin of that out-of-place saying.
That's the point :P

I've given it up, all this speculating is making me dizzy.
In fact, this is just a VI of him. I can predict how the real MaximizedAction would fail to get across his point in a post with 93% accuracy.

Yeah, too much speculations for too long could be deadly. Fingers crossed Leviathan will relieve us all of doubts.

I know that quote but can't remember where it was in the game. Oh, Shepard's VI. Still, 7% left for random output.

Or give us more speculations, look at it from different side - indoctrinated guys won´t care about IT they will say as always that they are happy with irrational endings and ITers will recieved another gamble up to sleeve which will boost IT:whistle:

I would argue that this is the current state of the IT forum for me:

Seems like a lot of the speculation low hanging fruit has been picked and I have to try to look harder and harder to find something new and relevant.

Like a toothpaste tube, with the IT theory I never seem to run out of new content to find, but the effort becomes greater and greater  and the ROI becomes worse and worse, and at a certain point I'm thinking "I should go into speculation hybernation mode and wait till Leviathan comes out..."

Unless some of the Bioware staff who are creeping this forum want to give us something new to chew on:whistle:

Veggie straws or chewing gum, anyone? No cheewy sweets though because they'd shut IT mouths up. Which would be bad for this thread. Posted Image

The problem are these guys refusing IT (these become indoctrinated agents because lot of them deffending ideals of Reapers and Catalyst, it´s what simply do indoctrination - reimage our stance to stance of Reapers) as possibility, few days ago 2 of them said IT is false so I asked them for proof or conclusion from BioWare which would support their assertion. They answered with it´s not out burden to bring a proof, but what the fu** how can you disprove something without facts ... what about pressumtion ?
Yes it was true that it´s not their burden to create proof but it´s not their right to judge something without proofs, everything on which is standing IT is based on proofs which was built in-game and not on some fairy-tales... that´s the difference.:police:

Yes, the hard thing is connecting the dots which some people seem to be unwilling or unable to do.

It looked more like a lab to me iirc some of the bodies are completely burnt, some are not so it looks more like they are conducting experiments on something. I know the building itself is a hospital but maybe at least this area seems repurposed.
