Though I'm wondering. This isn't an open audition is it? (Not that I want to steal your thunder.)

You're missing out on some great stuff. You just have to find the good stuff the way Waldo (I have no idea how international he is) taught you.

Arian. I'm listening to your audition. I don't know what you were worried about. It's a good start. Just needs more practice, more confidence, more practice, and oh, more practice.

Ask Hellish.
And yeah, weirdly enough, I...
Well I was about to say I have no problem with public speaking, but to be honest, that's not true anymore.
I think I've lost alot of my self-confidence and self-esteem over the years.

I would say that it makes my previous jokes about planning to breaking you not funny any more. Except that'd be a lie. I'm a ****** like that. I suggest you regain your confidence or else I'll start calling you Fluttershy.

I can believe you that you find it hard in as much as I find it hard to rationalize how someone could love ME without loving the Star Wars Universe. It's breaking my brain.Rosewind wrote...

Perhaps you could list what you like within SciFi and literature and perhaps us Star Wars junkies that reside within this thread could point you away from stuff you wouldn't like and towards stuff you may possibly appreciate. While the prequels weren't all that great and the original trilogy was decently good, the real gem is the universe itself and the stories that take place in it away from the films.

It would if I had and Earth DLC character. I still haven't unlocked one yet. Looks like I've got to put KotOR on hold for the rest of this week. Darn.Big_Boss9 wrote...

so no new evidence, no new videos? Can you guys point me in a direction at least? I'm interested.
Not sure if this was discussed but the Charon, the relay that humanity discovers might be a reference to Charon from Greek mythology who was a ferryman in Hades. Cerberus is also from Greek mythlogy and guards the underworld.
All this might be a hint towards Dante's "Divine Comedy" in which Cerberus and Charon appear. In the divine comedy Dante (the main character) is lost in dark woods where he meets Virgil (nod to Virgil AI and the prothean beacons) who gives him visions.
The story is told allegorically which is basically what the ME3 ending is. Shepard like Dante goes through three levels. For Dante it was Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven. For Shepard Hell might either be initially after Harbinger attacks or the hallway with all the dead bodies. Purgatory being the meeting with TIM/Anderson, and Paradise/Heaven being meeting with starchild, the reapers might be representative of the "flying angels."
Dante and Beatrice see God as a point of light surrounded by angels
Shepard meets starchild up in the heavens, Shepard sees a beam of light that starchild tries to convince you is good.
In heaven Dante meets Beatrice who basically explains creation of the universe and the role of angels (or in ME3 Shepard meets starchild who explains the role of the reapers which are center for the creation of the ME3 universe and storyline).
ME3 flips the "Divine Comedy" on its head, Dante is the story of a person who ends up closer to God. Shepard's story is of accepting faith of a false god in the reapers and succumbing to indoctrination.
Extra credit: here is also some medievel imagery in the end of ME3. The medievel view of the universe:

Nah I just said she wouldn't miss much. The jokes and characters are nice, the story is bland and foreseeable. The "twist" should be known to the player at least after the second vision and the endings are soo... arg.. and set in stone, I mean seriously I would expect if you choose the right stuff any companion could also turn to the dark side/light side. Take Mission for example, if I go for the dark side the only option I have is I either kill Mission or let the Wookie do it. I mean yeah the Sith are all bad and so on, but I seriously would have expected something as imprison her, maybe make her a slave like the companions you have in TOR with that "fun" shock collar. And don't get me startet with Jolee who was one of the best SW characters I've seen so far, then they just killed him in the last minutes.MaximizedAction wrote...

So since the last part is not good according to you, the whole game is not worth it?
Remind you of anything?
Also, Y U give absolute statements about opinion?
To me, KOTOR is still one of my favorite games and will remain that, even if IT turnes out to be true. In terms of "That part sucked, so the whole game sucked", I find KOTOR to be exactly the opposite: "That one part was awesome, so the whole game was pretty awesome".
But that's my opinion.
Modifié par MegumiAzusa, 25 juillet 2012 - 05:38 .
That's a pretty black and white opinion on SW for/from having a limited perspective. The EU (Expanded Universe) content features shades of grey quite often (Jedi who turn for good reasons, neutral views on Dark/Light Side of the Force, Sith with noble-ish goals, etc.). Also, Lucas is barely and rarely involved with the EU stuff.Rosewind wrote...

I think it is mainly cause I hate lucas with a passion ....... think he has a big head. But I love scfi stuff I just hate starwars, because unlike ME I feel like it doesn;t have those shades of gray to it. It really just seems like it;s black and white, Jedi's being good and sith's being evil..... Oh I am a huge Trek Fanto!
