What if there are only a dozen reapers and thousands of strategically placed mirrors and we're actually winning the war?

Then a lot of leaders are gonna be >pissed< about all those billions  the invisible Reapers killed and harvested.

I like the idea that Sovereign uploaded some of his mind in the last seconds of ME1.
Also do i think that some of those pieces from Sovereign crashing in the Citadel have greater meaning.

Maybe even Leviathan has a connection with the Catalyst, we still don't know much about him and his goals.

I like this idea also, the return of Soveriegn would be incredible, but a more powerful soveriegn recreated on the citadel from those already captured and converted.

Here's my vision, Shepard wakes up in a hospital bed, gets informed s/he's been unconscious for a week or so, then Shepard asks about the citadel, did we succeed, to which the answer is "no one made it to the beam" and the citadel arms remains closed, something is going on up there but no one knows what.

To cut a long story short, Shepard takes the Normandy to the citadel, as the normandy approaches the arms begin open, the music gets intense as a newly constructed Sovereign is revealed, bigger, more powerful.

Shepard: Oh hi Sovereign, long time no see.
That's just a little light humor.

But the return of Sovereign would certainly be an incredible twist to the story, not to mention a real shout back to ME1.

It was Garrus who told Joker to leave this time. I took him everywhere. Maybe its the person you bring the most, unless they were injured on the beam run?

It's Garrus for me too, though I never brought him on missions. My guess is it's related to a relationship counter that compares who's the next in line.

Something I noticed during the ME1 playthrough I'm doing now, the hallway where Shep firsts lands in the Citadel looks a lot like the hall where you first meet Tali. Also, the ramp up to Anderson looks a lot like the Space Traffic Control's ramp, though I have seen that mentioned, as well as the ME1 skybox.

Arian! Good to see you, not a whole lot new that I can see. General speculation and  theory crafting so far as I can tell. Then again I was at work most of the daylight hours, but so far as I know nothing massive the past few hours.

Certainly sounds cool.
But what would Harbinger be doing then? Watching from the side...stroking his cat and laughing evilishly?

So good news, I'm finally able to get the Engineer Daniels - Donnelly banter with a Kaidan Survivor playthrough. Don't know how when they fixed that but I just beat Rannoch so that's quite awhile before the banter starts.

Saw something interesting in the Cerberus logs during the Derelict Reaper mission in ME2, something like, "He's inside the dream now." But that's not it...Damn I should've screencapped it. anyone have a clip of when the Cerberus scientist talks about how "a god -- a real god -- is a verb"?

"Even a dead god can dream." Im pretty sure thats what the cerberus scientist's say.

Well yes, I know that, but he says a good size chunk of dialogue along with it. It's the last bits that are interesting, something about how they, the scientists, dream.

I took the liberty of finding a vid with said dialogue.  at 3:15.

I think it was fixed when the EC dlc came out.

Many thanks.

Ah here we are, "He knows now. He's tuned in on our dream. If I close my eyes I can feel him. I can feel every one of us." Referring to Chandana I thought, but makes sense if he's talking about the indoctrination signal from the Reaper.

[EVOLUTION SPOILERS]
In Evolution (the comic) it says that all the Indoctrinated think as one and feel connected. So it makes sense for them to feel each other.

Yes, makes a good amount of sense.

But, it was the "dream" part I thought was real interesting.

Those cerberus scientists mention recurring dreams several times. I'm pretty sure a log in arrival did too.

I just realized something very small, but interesting.
This one really does fit the bill of "grasping at straws", but it's interesting nonetheless.

When Anderson says "He's controlling you!", he actually looks at Shepard. Shepard is not shown on-screen, but he is standing behind TIM during this scene, at a closer-to-the-camera angle, which is where Anderson is looking.
37:10
Watch Anderson's eyes. He doesn't look at TIM. He looks at Shepard. If he was looking at TIM, his eyes would be slightly off to the right. But he's looking right over TIM's shoulder.
His eyes connect DIRECTLY with where Shepard is standing.

I'm pretty sure that's intentional...he means TIM is controlling Shepard and making shepard shoot Anderson.
Old news.

I recall seeing a youtube video where the player fly cam'd towards the synthesis beam and this wierd buzzing sound was getting higher and higher in pitch the closer he got to the beam. I can't find the video :(

I believe prettz made a video of the sounds.
EDIT: 'd by prettz himself.

Furthermore, the Catalyst seems to have that same echo-y background sound playing you start hearing once Shep wakes up in front of the beam. If in doubt, and you play ME3 on PC: It's that sound you hear fading out if you ALT+TAB out of the game.

I believe the quote is "They're controlling you," in reference to The Illusive Man being controlled by the Reapers. But Anderson looking in Shepard's direction during this can be seen as further evidence leaning toward IT. I believe it's been analyzed a few times but feel free, always good to work things out on your own regardless of previous possibilities brought to light.

Ever wondered where Harbinger went?, a more powerful sovereign, think about it ;)

PS, I'm not saying that's how it is, just stating what I think is a cool idea.
