Hey Guys...
Q: why'd the chicken cross the road?
A: Anderson was born in London.

Are people still on that? Ugh.

What about Kolyat telling you who he is when you meet him in Thane's hospital room? Is telling Shepard something she already knows always a super significant indoctrination test, or just when Anderson does it?

I'm nowhere near convinced it is an indoc test, but I do think that scene is very, very odd.

I'd also like to point out that I have asked different bioware employees (mike gamble, jessica merizan, etc...) about that scene and have never received an answer about it. And also Kolyat's line is no where near on par with Anderson's. Kolyat even says "I don't know if you remember me" it would be a different story if Anderson was like "I don't know if you remember but I was born in London." It would still be stupid but not strange.

Exactly. There are 1000000000000000000000 ways they could have worded it so it wasn't weird, but they didn't. They didn't change it in EC either.

Ha, I was just in London and it was a Reaper infested mess. Cleaned em out though. I think I'll hit 1K N7 by the time this challenge is over.

So about that secret to life... I always thought it was 42. Sucks that everything just has to be about Anderson. Damn that guy!

Some of that cut dialogue may be tied with the low EMS endings. Not sure about the line where the Catalyst mentions "if you do not choose, you will be forced to accept our dominion", that might be low EMS refusal ending. Haven't found any low EMS refusal endings on the internet.

With so many variations of the endings, it's kind of hard to test it.

It was you who uploaded them right? So were the lines from the orignial game or EC or both?

Yeah, to Mediafire. Catalysts lines were from EC (some of them), or maybe they were low EMS lines. Too many variables. I did the scene with TIM, and there was no mention of a Reaper trap or "don't fight it", or Anderson telling TIM to go to hell.

Mac Walters did state that TIM confrontation was revised, as was Anderson's death scene. Anderson's death scene was actually supposed to be longer, but some of the stuff was cut, yet you can find the lines still in the game.  Possibly the same for TIM.

For those who don't know, there's a new collaborative survey related to the EC out:

I live in Anchorage myself.

Lived here two years, hate the snow, love the rain, enjoy the paycheck. (Seriously, the PFD is awesome.)

Then you love the summer here then. So far it's been cold and wet. Sucks. It's more like early spring than MID-Summer. Thank GOD it's sunny and hot today though. Was a little worried.

Yes I LOVE Alaska summers. I like Portland Summer/Sprin/Winter/Autumn better however.

I took that survey, and I will most definitely say, it seems VERY weighted against IT.

Now we never see Coats on the shuttle at the FOB (unless you use fly-cam) but I still say that the only person you can really identify hear is Coats.
Posted Image

Now I know my hat theory dose not have much clout and it was more of a joke then serious but here the hat theory works. look at the picture, no hat and just try and find one generic soldier at the FOB that is not wearing a hat. so even with out flycam you can come to the conclusion that it's Coats.

Edit- by the way I put up a vid that contains most of my screen cap of mass effect 3

TJ, look what you've done. Now everybody's going to bring up asset reusage as a proper explanation.

Coats' body at the Citadel was mentioned but I don't remember if we reached any conclusion.

idk man. we're talking about the same people that drew some lines on a google image to reveal a major character, I wouldn't put anything past them.

All joking aside, (serious face) in ME Trilogy we face two villains when confronted with the truth choose to commit suicide rather than continuing to help the reapers. My overlay hypothesis states that Shepard is somewhat self aware of his situation and with "destroy"  Shepard willingly trying to kill himself rather than being indoctrinated through control/synthesis.

What did Shepard say about indoctrination to Saren: "I'd rather die..."

It has been pushed at you throughout the entire series. Shepard is "extraordinarily strong willed." Shepard should have at least a minor amount of awareness as to what is going on with indoctrination hence the availability of the Destroy option. Shepard sort of knows that something is wrong but it is up the player to catch it. If Shepard can convince multiple indoctrinated agents that they indeed are indoctrinated (this is a ridiculously hard task) Shepard should be able to partly diagnose herself with indoctrination.

What is even more weird is that Shepard, while beginning to be indoctrinated, can tell other people they are indoctrinated.

Why didn't the prothean VI detect that Shepard was indoctrinated on Thessia and later on Cronos? Why didn't Javik, who has a lifetime experience dealing with indoctrinated friend, crew, and enemies.

Everything else fits IT except this.

I also agree that Shepard should have realised she might be under Reaper influence from Arrival forward. In Arrival she stood next to a Prothean artifact and the black swirly mist came around her. She fell to the floor fighting it. But... damage was done. At the end of Arrival, Hackett asks Shepard how she feels. She says headaches are better or something along those lines.
