A question from the survey:

"Would the indoctrination theory be a better explanation for the end than the EC? "

What do you guys make of it?

I don't like optional surveys. Only the extremists can be bothered actually filling out the survey and so it doesn't represent the lazy people (me included) who assume their opinion or view point will be represented by some one else, which is a large portion of the community.

But yeah having a survey that doesn't actually adress upfront the indoctrination theory then trying to use it as evidence against it seems pretty sly.

Edit: Extremists may be interpreted wrong by people. By extremists I mean people who are outspoken.

You might try Die-Hards or Enthusaists,

Hey, so..... this timer up top. it ends on Tuesday if my calculations are right. It would be very cool is BW releases something on Tuesday. PSN updates on Tuesdays. Anybody knows if previous dlc for ME3 were released on Tuesday or not? It's pretty late ad I'm about to fall asleep. Just thought of it and decided to share with you.

Extended Cut - June 26 - Tuesday
Earth - July 17 - Tuesday
Rebellion - May 29 - Tuesday
Resurgence - April 10 - Tuesday
From Ashes - March 6 - Tuesday

Well, gotta wait till Tuesday, I'm not hopping for anything but the pattern is there.

Buried in the data. /Martin Sheen

/Vendetta

/Ali Hillis

3 characters so far who've said basically the same thing. That's exactly what we do here on the IT thread. BW must love this stuff.

Spoilers for Dead Space follow...

I just finished playing through Dead Space for the first time tonight. Issac, the character you play as, has hallucinations throughout the entire game. They are very subtle at first, then become more obvious as you near the end. You can hear whispers, children singing, and even see your love while she isn't there in reality.

My point is, the main character in a game hallucinating without the player even being aware of it has been done before, and I bet Bioware could do it a whole lot better.

I believe somewhere very early in the second game Issac has to struggle with what appears to be a ghost holding a knife, and after a quick-time event (Mash the A button as fast as possible) Issac snaps out of it and realises that he is the one holding the knife to himself.

That is a good point Jason, It would be a very similar experience to whats happening to Shepard. I think.

The indoctrination theory would be the worst ending period the new extended cut explains everything you didn't understand about the first endings and I think it is great. Good job bioware I'm so happy an extended cut was released to shut up these extreme fans let's move on to more important things like future DLC for the campaign and maybe another mass effect game in the future would be nice with Shepard of course in it if possiable.

Its always funny that there will be people who hate something so much they feel the need to search it out and try to trash it. They simply cannot leave it alone.

I'd like to think of the Starchild as a terrorist. Based on how many lives the Reapers have destroyed throughout the series, this certainly fits the bill. A lot of countries have rules where there will be no negotiation with terrorists.

Making a deal with the Starchild (control or synthesis) is like making a deal with the devil. In a country like the US, for example, collaborating with a terrorist, will end up in a death sentence for you. Or in this case, Shepard.

Fun way to put it.

First things first.

Commas, mother****er, learn how to use them.

Second, the extended cut does NOT explain things I failed to understand about the endings originally, seeing as I still have no idea behind the science, logic or really anything that could make Synthesis possible, or even likely as they claim, they failed to explain why it must be Shepard to make this choice, why Synthesis works now or really anything in general.

Your opinion matters to exactly one person. You. Why not share it with those that matter? Which is to say, no one else.

I'm showing I'm an indoctrinationist in a way most people would miss. If you put a banner up a lot of people of a differing opinion refuse to take you seriously.

True enough. A sig that makes people think a bit and use google, even better.

Always thought the lyrics of that song were...odd in how they can be related to ME3.

someone finally notices my hidden experiment in the Mass Effect 3 Secret of the Gun Additional for those that  seen it  I talk about how the gun changes sound. So in the Mass Effect 2 part with Elonor I change the sound of her gun to that of a shot gun. was curious to see if anyone would pick up on it.  guess that was not a smart idea, now I'm being question if the rest of my video is nothing but tricks.:crying:  I hope me putting a flying pig in the Coats vid won't be look at as trickery

Just saw a comic pointing out another hole in Mr. Sparkles story. How did they win the second cycle? They can't have had more than a dozen reapers to destroy whatever had sprung up in the first 50000 year waiting period.

You can play the game and see for yourself.

Your video cannot be decried as trickery.

Also, on an aside note, mentioning London and seeing patterns in images...

The symbol they chose for the 2012 Olympics STILL looks like Lisa Simpson giving Bart head.

Vastly superior technology, element of surprise (wiping out all life on the Citadel), Indoctrination, close monitoring of the next organic cycle to make sure they don't advance enough to pose a threat. . . Is that was Sovereign was really doing? As opposed to watching an dwaiting for Synthetics to threaten organics.

Keep in mind one of the big reasons our cycle even stands a chance during the Reaper War is because of Sovereign. All that technology to reverse engineer, make new weapons and shielding, eezo cores, AIs, navigation, e-mail, everything must've taken a leap forward. I think a producer or writer or Merizan tweeted (or maybe it was in Final Hours) that previous cycles rarely saw losses of Reaper dreadnoughts, and here we have intel that we can take them down with enough concentration. Of course, then there's the problem of their unknown numbers, they could have well over a thousand Reaper dreadnoughts and that's an optimistic guess.
