Time to grasp at some straws....
When you see the kid at the beginning of ME3 he has a kind of dream halo outline like thing around him in some of the scenes:
Edit: Omg it really becomes obvious in this scene.... how have I missed this for so long?!
Hadn't it already been confirmed that there are several cutscenes in ME3 with those borders?

I never deny there being reused assets, however that excuse does not cut it in many situations. Like people saying the blue eyes in synthesis is just reusing assets. If that were the case they'd have used the glowy green eyes asset used everywhere else in that scene.
Someone seriously claims that the blue eyes are reused asset? He or she must be shown that part of Evolution where TIM gets his...
But I guess their opinion won't be very much altered by that.
The strangeness of humans knows no bounds. Like one guy on a public talk about String theory that was held today in Munich. After the talk people could ask questions, and he started derpherping about how the lack of experimental validation for String theory "risks the intelligence of 7 billion people on Earth" and how the scientist giving the talk was playing "dangerous mathematical games".
Reminded me of the attention seeking trolls that come here once in a while to tell us how crazy we are.
...
Uh... actually most theoretical physicists DON'T use string theory anymore.
We've got 'brane theory now. Instead of strings, the universe is made of rippling membranes, giving rise to the ekonpyretic universe model.
Technically?
It's more an expansion upon string theory.

Don't worry guys at the next Comiccon I'll make sure I ask Casey Hudson three important questions:
1. How can I get a job at Bioware?
2. What is your opinion in regards to the lesbian singularity?
3. Where was David Anderson born?[/Caboose]
Noe tihs remminds me off masster blasster
I use mye phone 2 make postss so spellring is harrd.
I joke, Massters blasster is pretty great, but man I'd hate to post on this forum from my phone, he is dedicated.
Not really. It was symbolizing that what follows isn't real in 2 as well.legaldinho wrote...
as is, the white flash effect- in the Normady crash planet recollection cutscenes. That's not to say the white flash effect isn't given a whole new use in ME3.

To my understanding, the membranes are considered part of string theory. They came into being with the math somewhere along the line.
I haven't followed string theory in while though. I'm more of a loop quantum gravity person

What I meant was the flash wasn't a transition from something real and now to something else real and now. In fact the only time it is in the franchise is in the non-IT version of the ending.legaldinho wrote...
It's real- memories, historical recollection. But I can see that it's based on shepard's recollection- and thus his mind, and that's a common link with the geth consensus (which is real time, but all virtual, in Shep's mind), and the post beam scenes.

Someones probably already answered this, but I'll give my opinion, the catalyst is not offering it, Shepards mind is, albeit in a twisted way due to reaper influence, Shepard's mind is looking for a way out, there are four doors(three before EC), these doors are not the catalyst creation, they are Shepard's creation, his mind trying to find it's way back to reality, remember, at no point does the catalyst claim those doors to be his, he just says the crucible created new possibilities, well I think it's Shepard's mind that created them.HagarIshay wrote...
Thanks for the answer.
Just having one question- the bolded part.
In this case, why does the catalyst offers destroy to Shepard if he doesn't want Shepard to choose it?

Holy ****! I just made a VERY interesting discovery about the Carnipredifexator. When the gun changed, it didn't just change into a Carnipredifexator, it turned into a Carnipredifexator with UPGRADES ATTACHED! I'm guessing those are the same upgrades I had on my gun IN REAL LIFE (So to speak.). And I don't remember this EVER happening pre-EC. Yet ANOTHER clue that this scene isn't real, and yet ANOTHER clue that BW added with the EC.

Took screens of it happening pre and post-EC and didn't notice any updrades. What updrades did you see? Scope, barrel, stun attachement?
Try not to get too excited, could still be interpretted as a "bug" of sorts. It's the fact the change in guns is there at all that's such a compelling clue.

Hey, remember the default gun selection during the cutscenes? Having upgrades during the cutscene means extra work!

In all the scenes where it defaults your gun to a Predator or Avenger, if you currently have that weapon equipped, it will show your mods in the scene. Thats why I always carry a predator with ammo and extended barrel mods attached. That way it looks like I have a black silenced Predator during cutscenes, which is way cooler.

Oh, now that you mention it, I MIGHT have been using the Predator during regular gameplay... Give me a minute to check. Darn, and here I thought I found something awesome. Although... did anyone ever bring an upgraded Predator to that scene pre-EC and see the upgrades on it?

Edit: OK, as of the quick save I made 30 minutes before the Restart Mission save for Citadel: The Return, I had a Carnifex equiped with the capacity and stunner mods attached. The mod I saw on the Carnipredifexator in Destroy was the barrel mod. Maybe that's what I have attached to the Predator currently even though I don't have it equiped...
