Yeah and if we look at it that way then we got, Christmas, Halloween, Valentines and...Birthday? (the cake)...oh and the Apple Basket, any ideas there?
But what could it mean? Just Bioware adding random Easter Eggs (just about the only thing not present) or something more?
Any Ideas?

I think the basket is an actual Easter egg basket. Capital E, sorry. And yeah this doesn't really seem like BW's style, so I'm wondering what the significance is. Or maybe they just did it for fun, lol. Should we speculate what the number of strawberries mean on the cake? I think I count 18 around plus the 2 inner ones.
Oh right it might be an easter egg basket, so easter as well?
Edit: Or thanksgiving if its apples as Megumi just pointed out.

True, but most countries, including Canada, don't celebrate Thanksgiving.
So... we have Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter... and of course the cake.
And that's 2 and 18 strawberries. And 9 bodies with the number 3 on them.

Well looking at your pic Megumi, the eggs look like shiny blue, green, and pink/purple. Plus the basket looks more like an Easter basket than a fall harvest type of basket. Lol maybe a different angle would help to see the eggs/apples better?

So they pretty much covered all the internationally recognized holidays. Except New Years, anything possibly related to that? What would even represent it? lol

Ah you're right. There may be one on the map. Edit: Like the one next to the jack-o-lantern?
And apparently there is something called a chocolate-strawberry celebration cake, which looks a lot like the cake in Vancouver. Not sure if there's any tradition associated with it. But I feel like if it was supposed to be a birthday cake there would have been candles... Maybe.

While this speculating is fun, I strongly doubt the holidays or months point out release dates for future DLC as it would really surprising if they could stick to such a rigorous schedule after the EC pushed everything else back.

Well, I do remember the dial-up and hard disks. I didn't get any tv stations beyond the local ones during my formative years, so I was unable to watch cable shows, but Thundercats was just before my time (and yours, too, btw) anyway. Can you remember Thunder Cats being on the air?
Can you remember when Dial-up was a thing?
Can you remember hard disks?
Can you remember a time when Apple was just the weirdo alternative to Windows?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above, congratulations. You're old, just like me.
Did anyone here ever play that game that came with old macs where you had to navigate a paper plane through corridors over cats and radiators and whatever? It was 2-D side-scrolling...

That's a good possibility.
The arrangement of the strawberries is starting to annoy the OCD side of my brain, why not do two complete rows?
And does anyone else find it creepy to see such cheery items among charred bodies and ruined furniture?

More MP events + more new MP items = more people willing to shell out $/£/whatever for new items = moolah. Lots of.

Wouldn't it be odd if that turned out to be a kids birthday party in which the starchild's actual child equivalent was killed by the reapers?
Although I must admit the champagne would seem to make that unlikely.
Also, anyone up for some quick multiplayer?

Your reaction to their cries of disappointment lead to this EC. You kept the dream alive in the EC for those that understood but also in turn dragged it out even longer for us to experience the true end to your vision. I knew when I understood the breathe scene. It was choosing the destroy ending, rejecting the power of indoctrination, showing the reapers that no matter what the cost we will end their long existence of genocide, that I will wake up battered, bruised but alive on the ground of London ready to finish this long fight for our very existence or pehaps even awake to look into Harbingers very soul(clearly reapers have none) and say no I will never join you.
My true fear is you may be disillusioned by all this and cut your losses
PLEASE don't lose hope, there are actually many of us who believe in what you did. Push on, hope is what you created for Shepard/Gamer in this trilogy. That is why you should continue and bring out the end you were meant to.
For all who are disappointed look again at the ending pre-EC like I did and you will see from the time you stand up from Harbingers strike it is you the gamer being indoctrinated. It is an unpleasant feeling as it should be to lose ones mind, to have such limited control but that is what indoctrination is. The EC only gave a little closure to those unaswered questions you sought, not everything. The large gaps of the unexplained are still there and that unsettling/angry feeling you still have is the loss of your characters mind and indeed yours. Embrace this and you will see that the fight for your own soul is only the last hurtle before the final fight for the universe.
Brilliant Bioware. Dont stop now you are so close."
