Good. and while you are at it go put a bullet between the Catalyst's eye sockets.

I actually tried that, but didn't have the EC installed... :(

So what? Even if it takes 5 hours until someone comes in with a new IT related topic I'm fine with it.

You guys don't need to post every 30 minutes that nothing has happened for 30 minutes.

*incoherent swearing*

Just stop and take a break from this thread, I'll be doing the same.

I shot the Catalyst by mistake and had to replay the whole Return mission at 5AM. Posted Image

A silent treatment for Bioware? I wonder whether that would have any effect to Bioware, as most of the constructive speculatins is happening in this thread - or at least the egoistic side of me thinks so... B)

Fear not my fellow ITers. There is more. You just have to be patient. There are Indoctrination subtleties all the way back to ME1. I just can't say anything... you know, spoilers. Hold the line! :P

[in Saren's voice] Maybe you're right. Maybe people need to charge their batteries before the announcement of Leviathan DLC. Posted Image [in TIM's voice] No, it'll work. I just need to...

Do you guys still think that a "real ending" DLC will come out to reveal IT?
What is the future of the IT?

I am leaning more in the direction of the IT being an ambiguous interpretation. Intentional, but never meant to be expanded upon. Would you be satisfied with something like that?

that's what I fear most out of this situation. they leave the ending ambiguous and just... never expand on it. just leave the ending on a cliff hanger forever and just not care. that imo is the cruelest thing they could do regarding mass effect. have a game where the story progresses based on your choices, then give you a no-choice at the end, with a ton of hints and references that something isn't right then just never explain it.

about IT reveal, how would they market that? "real ending" sounds suspiciously like what capcom did and that didn't go over well with the fans.

People would just need to look up the definition of DLC.
In theory, an expansion on the ending isn't really a 'real ending to ME3'. The game has an ending, it's the one that nearly no gaming magazine cared to go into detail or critisize during the initial reviews, but the fans did.

However, the war with the Reapers could be still going on.

It all comes down to whether or not you choose to distinguish the Reaper war story from the game on the disc.

In my opinion, such a huge galactic war is such a great opportunity to use DLC to the full capacity of the principle, and not really ending the war with the core game also helps keeping up this ARG they kept doing with the ANN. It's like a hybrid between classic SP game with MP part and an online RPG -- keep adding material/chapters/seasons over time.

Maybe this is how Bioware is testing the capability of ME as a franchise for an online RPG...or are even looking into a new hybrid genre.

that's in interesting idea, however I want to find out what happened to my shepard and his friends, to me what mattered the most in this game. I refuse to accept that they are going to leave the ending in shambles like this, shepard fate entirely unknown and just general confusion everywhere. it's all that stupid starchild and his giant ending machine. scratch the starkid, and change what the crucible does and we'll be straight.

No, of course they have to give proper closure to AT LEAST the main squadmembers, other than Tali.

The ending slides gave NO info whatsoever on Ash/Kaiden, Liara, James, Garrus, James. It was almost only ME2 characters.

And, to be honest, I can swallow that Shep's finished -- although I highly doubt that -- but at least tell me where you see your main characters in their future lives, and please spare me that "whatever you wish my dear" bullsh*t.

I'd like to see this thread moving again, it's what's giving me hope that bioware isn't as dumb as they look right now.

this video: , along with the crosshair bob are some of the biggest indicators that something is not right. why would bioware put that in there if the stachild is real and the choices are real? indoctrination is the most plausible explanation imo, and it would be criminal if we went through the entire series battling indoctrinated agents and never explored the effects of indoctrination ourselves.

yeah that too lol, not even EC handwaved that, and it's just blatantly obvious it's wrong. guess they just wanted to satisfy all the literalists with pretty cutscenes and still images. the people who actually use their brains and realize what's going on (us) are still on to bioware and their antics.

There are plenty of people who don't agree with us who are perfectly intelligent. They just get drowned out by the stupid sometimes.
