I think it is grasping for straws but hey, still an interesting idea. The best part about this thread is that it makes people question EVERYTHING haha

That's why I haven't commented in a while. Most of my ideas are spent; I'm just a news commentator now haha

I've got one that's kind of... out there.  I haven't mentioned it because I figure I'll get lots of "lulz grasping @ straws no mergency inducktion ports!!!!!!!1111111" posts (seriously, I hate memes).  But what the hell.  Forewarning people, I am NOT saying that this IS the case, just a random thought I'm throwing out there.

One of the symptoms of indoctrination is viewing the Reapers with "superstitious awe."  Sounds like it had a hand in Saren's giving him that dubious title.  What if it's the same way Harbinger got his "name"?  Think about it.  We just hear Harbinger's voice in our, Shepard's, mind.  There's no evidence that anyone else ever heard that voice.  The only time someone besides Shepard mentions it in ME2 is one of TIM's synopsises of a mission.  He probably read it in Shepard's report and even if not, TIM is mildly indoctrinated himself at that point.

Harbinger, like Sovereign, is a word with a meaning.  A foreboding one.  Nazara means nothing (at least in English, and all kinds of meaningless stuff translates to something in other languages).  If Nazara was Sovereign's actual name, why would Harbinger's really be "Harbinger"?  Doesn't make sense.  Unless it was Shepard's awed subconscious from the early stages of indoctrination simply trying to interpret things.

Actually, according to the codex, several colonists have heard it refer to itself with the name Harbinger. Check the codex for Collector General, Mass Effect 2.

And Nazara actually does translate to something (Hindi I beleive it is, I could be wrong.) Translating out as "perfection"

More than likely, Harbinger is a title that Harbinger itself adopted, so that it's prey would know what to call it.

For someone that writes walls of text, you sure don't like to read.

Let me think of all the awesome things quarians have done. Well, there's the geth. No, let's limit this to stuff they did on purpose. ... Nope, can't think of anything.

Good with tech.
Made cool looking suits.
Strapped giant guns to every ship possible.
Sometimes have cool accents.
I think whoever made Tali did it on purpose.

I never understood the hatred towards Ash. I almost always choose her as a LI and she's always my VS.

I think it has to do with her racism. I was downright flabbergasted when a friend of mine who is really into archeology picked Ash instead of Liara. I was like: "Wait... you picked the racist over the archeologist?!?"

I did Miranda in ME2 but Liara is my real love.

I think we're in the interregnum... we've analyzed the game... now all we can do is wait for more info about the EC. Should be some intel coming out of E3, so that's not long.

Tech: No argument there.  It doesn't seem to have done them much good though.  The best thing they ever did was on accident.  Then they tried to undo it and wound up getting kicked off the only planet with an ecosystem that would tolerate them.  That's like taking a drive to the 7/11 and catching your wife doing your sister, who happens to be your boss.  There's so much fail there I don't even rightly know how they wound up going from point A to point B.

Suits: Maybe.  But it's not like they did it as a fashion statement.  They did it because existence is a level 4 biohazard lab to them.

Armed liveships:  "If your war strategy involves strapping cannons to your kids' school buses, maybe it's not such a good idea." - Joker

Accents:  In my cycle, we were Jamaican mon.

Here is a thought, Anderson states the reapers use the beam to transport people "alive" and dead up to the citadel, firstly, how does Anderson know what the beam is doing and where it's going?, secondly and probably the most important, if the beam is transporting the living, where are they, why are Shepard and Anderson the only ones wandering about up there?

Maybe they  came back

Has this been noted as odd that Starbinger tells Shepard to wake up even though he's very much awake before hand?

Stay focused guys, please.

You only see that final frame of the Normandy in the destroy ending?

Somone mentioned you can see it in the Synthesis ending...or maybe it was Control, definitely one of them.

You mean this screen right?

May just be cut cinematic to fit with the music, like the Control ending does compared to the other 2. Or maybe it's another piece of the puzzle.

It's in Destroy with low EMS (vaporization).

I'm quite sure it's in all destroy endings.

hears a vid of the sounds on the Normandy. Was trying to compare areas to the one Vega in where you can hear the hum. Did not turn out the way I wanted but hear it is, maybe someone will find it useful.

Is it just me or do the sounds of shepard's cabin seem a bit unsettling compared to the rest?

I'm not sure but I heard white noise in Shepard's cabin.

Are you sure about the hum in engineering? It rather sounds like a high-frequency engine.

Few pages back, yesterday I think it was, we were talking about the weird headbob present in London and certain other parts of the game? Someone even posted a vid of it happening at the weapon workbench. Someone else pointed out the view of the workbench is probably still taking place in real time in the game just with a different view, I can somewhat confirm that now. I went down to the Normandy's workbench and noticed the N7 Edition pet robot-dog doing his scan thing and saw the blue light pass over the bench when I was using it.

Still not sure what to think of that "dizzyness" though.

Aside from thinking I somehow posted without remembering it because of your avatar icon? Just the usual speculation/debates really. Although it's kind of quiet right now.
