Now guys, i was thinking, there may be a logical reason for harby ignoring the normandy, not killing shep and flying away, apart from IT.

So what if Harby managed to break free of the control of the catalyst? He wants to make it look like he has killed shep, while leaving him alive for hopes he can save or kill them.

I think this may be revealed in Leviathan. Thoughts?

I think it would be weird to have Harby breaking free as well as Leviathan.

Isn't the consensus now that leviathan isn't actually a reaper but a member of the first reapers race? Besides, maybe leviathan teaches harby the power of love or something

I considered that as a possiblity until I reread some of the leaked lines (paraphrased):

"A rogue reaper, that's what we have here right?"
"Leviathan's AI shackles seem odd."
Forgetting some. Plus he's really old. At least 37 million years. Also capable of space travel.
