What system are you playing on?
360, those aren't my pics BTW, I think theyre megumi's
Ok. I wonder what Megumi plays on then?
I believe she's on a computer.
This is my playthrough, right before the tube blows up.
DaFrak? You have a Predator holstered!
Good Gravy! Never noticed. This is the first time I've taken the shot from this side. Again, programmatic issue here. Shepard always has a predator equipped in a cutscene, it's possible that biwoware worked around it by equiping the pistol so you don't see it holstered.
Just a guess.
But then how do you explain the file that specifically loads it in this scene?
Because the scenes and animations are dependent on the model. The scene would most likely crash if the predator could not be loaded.

" I played some new stuff today from@ericFagnan ,@CGaspur and the team which i believe is the best we've ever put out. I really can't wait. "
EC he is playing has gameplay, so the endings will have gameplay. Literalists can stop braying that the endings will not have gameplay. Another victory for us.
I would keep in mind that Eric Fagnan works on Multiplayer (I don't know if he works on it exclusively, but he is the one who always posts the balance update notes each week).
Fascinating, it says that the server isn't sending data when I try to follow the link. Maybe he said too much.
Edit: It says the server also isn't sending data when I try to follow the links to the two BW team members.
Eric is a Gameplay Designer and Corey is a Lead Combat Designer.
I have a feeling this tweet from Mike is related to Multiplayer, as that is what Eric works on from what I can tell.
EDIT: those links don't work because Twitter.com is acting up right now
I know a lot of people are at BioWare's throats right now, but explain to me this: Why would any form of multi-player gameplay be something Gamble considers "the best we've ever put out"?
And don't forget this week's interview with Gamble at the BW blog where he explicitly said how LotSB was their best SP DLCs yet.
So, no matter if about SP or MP, it might very well be something awesome.

If I might venture into some symbolism literary analysis, destroying the tube (which looks like the baby reaper tube that was feeding human smoothie into the baby reaper, which has enough symbolism already) destroys the shackles that the Reapers have temporarily put on Shepard's mind. The gun changing represents his sudden freedom to choose his own destiny rather than be swayed from his orginal goal. Or it could represent the actual pistol he has on his person in the real world rather than the dream pistol he picked up on the walk to the conduit, which was put there by the Reapers.

Yeah, uh, with the way the video presents the transition, I'd be led to believe that it's intentional---and assuredly triggered by the blast wave.
Most bizarre.

I mean - say you chose synthesis and control, does the game just end there with "Critical Mission Failure?" That would be a bummer if so ... does the game start back up in London with you still having to storm the Citadel to arm the Crucible? It just seems that mechanically it would be an awkward thing to implement the IT
Well, it could like waking up from a dream. Whatever you choose, the Citadel scenes weren't real and you're still on Earth. So say you wake up after Control/Synthesis. Maybe you see things differently, like friends looking/acting like enemies. Maybe it's a lot harder to break your perception of reality in this scenerio.
I'll give you an example. Someone, in a tongue-in-cheek fashion, asked, "What if Marauder Shields is really Garrus trying to stop you and you just killed him". I don't think that's really the case but how awesome would that be if something like that were expanded on and used in some form?

None of us know what Bioware is going to do with it. I think the general concensus is that Control ( it's listed as BecomeAReaper in the code) and Synthesis are both indoctrination but the degree to how Shepard can or can't get out of it has not reached a concensus.
Arian Dynas has created a script showing how it could possibly work: http://social.biowar.../index/12095313

I vaguely remember seeing some thread where that Tilax dude came out and said the announcement of the Extended Cut somehow demolished any belief he had in IT, and everyone in the thread was acting like he was the dude who came up with the theory, despite me spending all my time in the IT thread and never having heard of him before.
It was weird.
