Actually, it does kinda look cool!
predafex/carnitor for ME3 DLC weapon! Woot!
It should have the ammo capacity of a predator and the firing power of a carnifex!
I vote Predafex.
Predafex just rolls off the tongue easier. But that's just my opinion.

Funny observation, this isn't actually the first time I've seen one gun melded with another like that. When Wrex attacks you on the Citadel if you sabotaged the cure, his shotgun starts as a Claymore, then becomes some weird Claymore/Graal Spike Thrower hybrid.
Wrex simply possesses the ability to mold weapons to his liking on the fly. He's that badass.
Also, speaking of Wrex, you ever notice he doesnt bother using biotics on you when he attacks?
He knows you're the best hope for the galaxy, but he also knows you've screwed over his people.
His honor demands he at least respond to your treachery, but his common sense dictates he doesnt actually want to win the fight, because while you screwed his people, him winning would screw the galaxy.
At least, thats my interpretation of why he seemingly doesnt go all out.
Wrex is awesome.

Wrex doesnt want his people to go extinct, but he also doesnt want Shep to lose the war.
He's stuck between a rock and a hard place if you betray him.
He probably figures Shepard can win without krogan support, and he's right.

You also have to consider that if you got his grandfather's armor back and helped him on Virmin then I would expect him to say all of that because he trusted Shepard with his life nad now his people are dead.

This isnt really relevant, but since your sig has Cortez in it, I'm wondering, did you romance him?So we're back to "it a surprise, they planned it"? It's May 24th, more than 2,5 months since the game released and yet the release date for first SP DLC is still nowhere on the horizon. If it was all planned, they would've released the "true ending" DLC already.D.Sharrah wrote...
Have you ever been part of planning a surprise event for anyone? While being a part of this, have you ever been asked by the "target" of the surprise if anything was going on? What did you tell them?
Epilogue DLC for POP 2008 was released exactly 3 months after the game. Ending DLC for Asura's Wrath 2 months after the game.
Any one have the link to AD's marketing theory handy?
Great idea!
And here I thought I came up with a very good analogy to explain the opposing position? But it doesn't work b/c it doesn't fit some pre-determined pattern for surprises in the gaming indusrty? I just don't get it.

Wrex is awesome. I usually only play paragon...but I had to do my token renegade playthrough. I found out that I needed to go all the way back ME 1 (since I didn't have a complete renegade import ready), so I could kill Wrex (and man was that hard, hated every second of it), to be able to decieve Wreav.

He also waits until after you've lept away before he fires the claymore.
But even if he was holding back because he didnt want to kill Shepard, he still called off his support for Earth...
I'm more fascinated by the fact that his weapon turns into a claymaal spike thromore....
What could that mean?

Shepard is not the Catalyst because he wasn't alive when the Prothean VI got information on what the Catalyst was. The Catalyst is rather a thing than a person. Unless you consider someone who performs an action a catalyst of that action.masster blaster wrote...
Well we know Shepard is the catalyst because Bioware hinted that Shepard was it because when they show the god child I thought that since it took on an appearance of an organic then Shepard maybe the catalyst. Also if you pay attention to the Prothien VI it is about to tell you what the Catalyst really is but stops and says the citadle is the catalyst.

I think (Though I'm by no means certain.), that the when Wrex fires, his gun uses the Graal sound. Maybe it had to load the model so it would be able to make the sound. That wouldn't explain the Carnipredifexator, though, since I don't think the Predator's firing sound is used at any point during that scene.

Sorry I forgot to say I mean an organic that is Chaos or Balance, that has the ability to rule all or kill all life as a Chaotic person, or a person who birngs balance to the galaxy and could die. You also have to consider the fact that the Illusive Man said if they lose Shepard then they are f***, but that was hardly the case he new about the Prothien devise long before Liara went there on Mars, and since Shepard was the hero of the galaxy he probable thought that he is the one who can save the galaxy, and he needed the collector base to start gathering information about the catalsyt and the ability to control the reapers so that he could see how an organic could take control over any living thing.

Now that you mention it, you're right, that is the Graal's firing sound, not the Claymore's. So this one could just be an honest glitch.

Epyon, lets assume that the decision chamber was indeed part of the Crucible.
How does that change anything?
The literal ending still makes no damned sense.
It's an interesting perspective on the situation and I appreciate the work EpyonX3 has put in, but I clearly remember Star-Brat answering with "The Citadel; it's my home" when Shepard asks where he is.

Look we all know Tim is Indoctrinated in ME2 and way before the current Me, but since he was being slowly taken over by the Reapers he probable wanted a way to control the Reapers for his own personal gain. So he was looking for a way to control the Reapers and found what he was looking for on Mars, but he probable thought, or found out that he could not control the Reapers at all. Until Shepard saved the Citadle from the Reapers attack. That is why Tim took interest in Shepard because he was the only one who can control the Reapers since he was not IT. And maybe he wanted the Collector base because he could have used the Tech there to help him with his new Project the Crucible.
