I think this is a relevant addendum to the Predator / Carnifex issue.

It is often "sold" as the Carnifex turning into the Predator, but I now aim to show that we may have hallucinated a little bit ourselves.

First, yes, there's no doubt we start out with just the Carnifex:

But observe this frame: It looks like the Predator mesh is added (i.e. not actually replacing anything) to the scene:

Then, in the next frame or so the new mesh also gets a texture:

The Carnifex has not actually been (fully) replaced. Look:

That's not the only "still Carnifex area", but it's easy to see when you know to look for it.

I honestly didn't notice while I was making my own video to corroborate the initial finding. Maybe it's the color change (new gun material?) that tricked me. Regardless, you can see it clearly. It's a bit harder to see in Prettz' video, but still evidently there: Two guns, not one turning into another.

To be clear, I still think seeing intent here is justified, given how it occurs in the same shot and when the shockwave hits.

I still think it's because they wanted it to be more visible in his hand while the tube blew up.

I've had a theory for a while, that might explain why TIM was so interested in Omega: What if it's the Prothean Crucible? It does kind of look like it. We also have no real reason for the coup, unless TIM knew the Citadel was the Catalyst...

Also, unrelatedly, we still don't know why TIM attacked Sur'kesh, that was said a few times in game, they didn't know why, but it was never explained...

Why? Did they think we were going to forget we were using a gun only seconds ago if we couldnt clearly see it as the tube blew up (which it is only doing because we shot at it in the first place)?

I'm starting to think that "The Truth" dlc rumor months ago wasn't completed fabricated after all. A lot of what that poster said would happen has indeed become real content

Look we all know Tim is Indoctrinated in ME2 and way before the current Me, but since he was being slowly taken over by the Reapers he probable wanted a way to control the Reapers for his own personal gain. So he was looking for a way to control the Reapers and found what he was looking for on Mars, but he probable thought, or found out that he could not control the Reapers at all. Until Shepard saved the Citadle from the Reapers attack. That is why Tim took interest in Shepard because he was the only one who can control the Reapers since he was not IT. And maybe he wanted the Collector base because he could have used the Tech there to help him with his new Project the Crucible.

What? Did you play the same game? Posted Image

Yes but I am just saying it is posable that Shepard can control them only because the God brat is Harby.
And when I mean the Illusive mans new project I ment he already knew about it.

There are no timescales provided in the closing sections, so stating that Shep wouldn't be able to do X thing in Y time because it was Z distance away is futile.

Ok, lets try this from another angle shall we:

The average sprinter can run at 16kph, Shepard would have to clear 3.6 kilometers just to be at the edge of the presidium, how long would it take Shepard to run this distance?

Once you work out the answer, do you honestly believe that amount of time passed between the tube explosion and the citadel going kablooey?

All of this information disregards the fact that Shepard is not fit to limp let alone run, just coped a face full of exploding tube and that additional travel would be required for him to reach a safe distance away from the explosion.

The poster is grabbing emergency induction ports. You shouldn't even dignify them with a serious response.

Maybe so, but one should never let the opportunity to destroy someone's opinion by only using basic elementary-school math go to waste.

Have you all notice there are no other Specters besides Shep, Ash, or Kadin, and not including dead ones.
I know it's off topic put it would have been nice to have some Specters as war assents.

Okay but more Specters there are what 5 and two are dead, and two more can die, so there are only two, or one Specter left. Which is lame since Specters are highly regarded.
Blasto the Hanar does not count.

If Jondum Bau survives the mission you encounter him on, you get a Spectre unit as a war asset:

Spectre Unit

Spectres are the right hand of the Citadel, enforcing laws and stopping crimes with galactic repercussions. While Spectres usually work alone, the Reaper threat gave cause for these extraordinary agents to assemble in an elite unit capable of operating in enemy territory without backup. Spectre Jondum Bau, while not their official leader, is the group's spokesperson. He has passed on important intelligence gathered by the unit to Hackett and the Fifth Fleet.

Just because we dont see them doesnt mean there arent other Spectres

I think (Though I'm by no means certain.), that the when Wrex fires, his gun uses the Graal sound.  Maybe it had to load the model so it would be able to make the sound.  That wouldn't explain the Carnipredifexator, though, since I don't think the Predator's firing sound is used at any point during that scene.

It is, actually:

If you did Kasumi's loyalty mission in ME2, and she survived the suicide mission, you can save both Jondum Bau and the Hanar homeworld.

We already did, as you yourself mentioned. Ash and Kaidan.

Plus Shepard.

Though, I've always kind of wished Tela Vasir survived ME2. She'd have made an interesting party member.

This mantains my belief that any Salarian related to STG in some way won't be a jackass.

This includes the citadel gamestop clerk...he's STG deep cover operative.

You too hey, I started to think it as well, but only recently when I went back to playing ME2. It first dawned on me when we get the first reveal scene of it when the SR2 goes in to dock, than I looked up some interesting facts about it:

“...At times the station has lain idle and abandoned for centuries, only to be reactivated by a new group of outlaws seeking a fresh start. The space station's original elegant design has given way to haphazard expansion by scrabbling factions of every species.”

I also checked out the wiki on it and it’s stated length is 44.7 kilometers. Does anyone wan’t to take a guess at how long the crucible is?
