This is a very very important point.
If you watch closely, the catalyst doesn't really say that in order to destroy them, all synthetic life will be destroyed, or even give you the option. It says that you could try to wipe out all synthetic life, and lets you tie yourself in knots over something it's never actually said.

It is a very clever piece of dialogue.

It actually says:
"You can wipe out all synthetic life if you want."
there is nothing about trying.

Low EMS stuff:
"The Crucible changed me. Created new... possibilities. But I can't make them happen.
And I won't."
"Make what happen?"
"What you came here to do.
You want to destroy us./You want to control us.
Now you could interpret the "And I won't." as that it will stop you if you try (hence sheparddead plays in the Normandy scene and no one steps out).

He says "And I won't" when EMS is slightly higher and still people come out of the Normandy. So it means that he doesn't want to do anything rather than try to stop you. He leaves the choice up to you.

I promoted all 6 classes today, and I'm currently focusing on finding more evidence for the IT!

I agree though, I'm not a huge fan of engineers... My favourite class is the vanguard, then comes the infiltrator, then sentinel.

Come to think of it, I've never really been a fan of a class that only specializes in 1 thing...

I geuss since I don't play MP I just expect there to be some activity here...like I said ealier coming here is helping me avoid playing my ultimate renegon playthrough...and if there is no activity I might have to go be a jerk.
