You know, the poll in the HTL forums give me hope...

Hope, that in the end, all of those insults and belittling we've endured, will finally pay off, and that we will be the people in the right...

I can't stop comparing the IT to Shepard trying to warn the council about the reapers...

currently, 81% have voted "yes." I hope that this will actually mean something for the EC...

You mean 21.12.2012. Posted Image

It would be pretty weird if the EC would be released on that day...
What if the fans' reaction to the EC will be so negative that the energy released from their butthurt bellyaching will be so heavy, that it produces infinite numbers of dark energy that suddenly destroys the sun?

FORESHADOWING.

I suppose we'd have another Haestrom on Earth. And Tali would come here to investigate! Posted Image And the geth! Posted Image

Uhmm... Did you misunderstand what I wrote?

Dark energy was destroying the sun on Haestrom too.

Did you understand what he wrote? ;)

Yeah, I just did.:P

Confused me at first, however...

So frustrating. I have two characters at 19, so that's easy, but my nearest 3rd char is at 10- no way am I going to get them to 20 before tomorrow. Gah!

Ive gotten a chance to talk over skype while playing MP with quite a few people who do not believe IT. Among them, alot of them surprisingly have not played ME1 and 2. So theyre arguing from a poorly informed stand point. For those who have and still shoot down IT its usually an intense desire to be incredulous. Its obvious they want to be among the few who can say "i told you all so" if IT happens to be completely false.

Yeah, I don't mean to offend anyone who doesn't believe in IT, but there does seem to be something of a... trend... that everyone in this thread is sort of reasonable and willing to debate and engage and look deeply into things, while literalists tend to make a sort of blanket statement that is vague and facile, and jump to anger/trolling at the first opportunity. This has no bearing on the argument itself, just saying literalists, on the whole, seem less thoughtful than ITheorists. Like, some literalists seem to dismiss symbolism as a concept in any form of literature- it's difficult to engage someone with that mindset, since IT does use symbolism.

Thats the definition of literalism. Being literal is making a statement or gesture with no thought of the meaning behind said statement or gesture. You accept 'as is'

Reminds me of something I found on Reddit.

What the author wrote: "The curtains were blue"
What the teacher think the author meant: "The curtains represent the deep depression the character was going through at the time"
What the author actually meant: "The curtains were F****** blue"

Yeah, I brought that word to this board to describe Anti-I.T.ers. Some of them didn't like it lol.

I geuss since I don't play MP I just expect there to be some activity here...like I said ealier coming here is helping me avoid playing my ultimate renegon playthrough...and if there is no activity I might have to go be a jerk.

Edit: Does anyone else still feel a little strange when they see a post of theirs in the middle of a giant quote tree?

Why?

What exactly are you asking why to?

Why don't I play MP?  No real reason, never got into it...usually play games to escape, not be social would be my answer if you pressed me.

Why here instead of the SP game?  Because I usually play paragon (were talking squeaky good) and I find renegade/renegon difficult (interesting, which is why I do it, but damn difficult).

Why do I feel odd when my post is in a quote tree?  Not sure...its not that I don't expect people to care about what I have to say.  Maybe its because in a lot of ways I still feel like a "lurker", since this is the only thread that I really participate in.  I really don't know.  It just feels a little wierd, when I check back in and I see a quote tree with one of my posts in the middle.

I think that should answer all the things that you might have asked why about...now you can just pick the answer that you are looking for...

I'll admit they are some things that I do feel this way about them...but most of the things that are discussed here in this thread would not be included in that group.

Has it turns out another idea for dark energy was goning to invovle the human race and the reapers would give shepard the choice to save the galaxy by allowing the reapers to sacrifice humanity, or let humanity stop the dark energy threat ,by having the Reapers killed.

I think they need to have a operation where you fight nothing but husk on any challenge and you have to survive 3 times on gold and I know it sounds lame but there was this glitch on reaper gold where we fought nothing bu husk and were killed during the remote devises because of the continuation/hordes of husk coming at us.And it would be called operation Avenger.

Once again my script grinds to a screeching halt. Does anyone know if Anderson knows the Illusive Man personally? As either TIM or Jack Harper? I can imagine they would recognize each other on sight, but I doubt they would use their first names...

I would assume they would be able to recognze each other on sight since TIM has enough info on everyone in the alliance, especially Admirals. Anderson may know TIM because he maintained communication with Shepard through ME2 and through his reports pre-me3.

That and isn't Cerberus supposed to have statred as alliance black-ops?

I think it was all the way back in the first IT thread we were talking about Husk brains and how intact they would be after "huskification"? Anyway, managed to snag a close up after a sniper round:

Didn't think there'd be cables inside the brain, but interesting nonetheless. Anyway, back to Shieldwall *salute*

Good luck! I've already completed Shieldwall, so I guess I won't be joining you! *salutes*

I sleep as much as most people just not at the same times, other than that I'm working evenings or gaming or doing whatever else. Wasn't all that hard, already had 2 level 20s to promote (I was saving them for Gold attempts), and 3 17-18 classes. Only my engineer was level 7, taking awhile to level that one tonight. Plus side, plenty of time to take note of how much Reaper cables are used in "huskifying." Did you know human Husks have cables on the inside of their skulls?

I've got the app, I like what they've done to the newsfeed and that it's not just their  twitter responses anymore. I really like the mail feature though, it's like gettin  texted by your squadmates.

I almost never get messages from my squadmates. the last time i got a message from a squadmate was on may 14th from Javik, and i always play SP i dont get wtf is going on. i sometimes get the "a sign-in error has occured" thing when i start the game so maybe that  has something to do with it?
