Current endings... nice. That's stupid to say. Current ending? An ending is an ending... unless it's a partial ending... in that case it would be "the current ending" until the true ending is released.

Each part is something Shepard has experienced in reality, the hallucinations take elements from those experiences to draw a picture, an example I posted somewhere before, a test subject was lightly sprayed with water while they slept, when they woke they described being on a boat in a rain storm, Shepard had involvement with the collectore base whether to keep it or destroy it, each would have their hallucination affected differently by the outcome.

Interesting, butI I am still pretty doubtful of their intent. But I am HAPPY to be proven wrong, I absolutely do not understand people that hate on I.T. it'd be a fantastic litererary twist.

It depends on when he said it, was it before or after the announcement of the EC?

I can hear as clear as crystal that he says CAN'T tell you. Pretty much a dead-give away that something was probably being planned, and well- the EC is probably the result of it.

Didn't also Bioware ask for 6 more months to wrap up the game, but they only got 3? Would make sense that the ending seemed abit "abrupt" for alot of people, and well- it sort of is to some degree. And it also would make some sense to see the EC being shipped like 3 months after release, if not 4. Since we're still abit unsure on the release date.

Probably planning something grandeur.

I was defragmenting my drive the other day and I noticed the names of the BIK video files from ME3 - London Red Good, London Red Bad, London Green Good, London Green Bad, London Blue Good, London Blue Bad. That tells me there are six endings to the game. What decides whether the ending is good or bad? It is EMS, Galaxy Readiness, what? Even without playing online (which I don't like doing) I have 100 Galaxy Readiness and almost 8,000 EMS when I get to London thanks to iPhone Infiltrator and Datapad, and the fact that I play as a completionist. So, if it's a case of EMS I will have to sacrifice all the side missions just to keep the EMS score down. I'm curious to see the "bad' endings for Red, Green and Blue.

Hard to say... there's some kind of "evidence" pointing towards EC being planned since launch. But if you refer to official announcement... I don't really know.

Little stat for all you IT fans.

Seems like at least 50% of BSNers would be annoyed if the ending was proven to be LITERAL.

With only like 11% saying they would be affected negatively.

If anything this shows how detested literal interpretations of the ending is. I.T. or similar is most definitely preferred:

It was before EC was announced, I'm 95% sure.  Still, EC only "clarifies" the endings.  So they'd still be the current ones if that's all it was.

And damnit, I can't believe estebanus ninjaphantom'd me 2 minutes before.  And even worse, when I found out I went looking for that pic of the yagh shadow broker smashing his desk as a ragequit motivational to comically post regarding my reaction and I couldn't even find THAT.  Man, this isn't my day.

I just watched this and didn't really pick up on the alien voices- it just seems like her hearing was dulled momentarily and she heard the farawy voices of the people in the room with her, a la Saving Private Ryan.

Why would she hear the voices but not all the other sounds? Like the explosions etc, also they fade out, and as Anderson and Shep determine they are all dead. Also listen more closely, there are sounds mixed into it that just aren't of any organic origin or created by the objects around you.

Didn't know what I signed up for back in June 2011 when I preordered it -- my first preorder btw, and with IT I don't regret it.

The thing is- why would the guy even MENTION the possibility of the ending not being in the disc, to say if it was on there or was not. Presumably that means he was at least turning over the concept of the ending not being on the disc in his mind, which again points to IT.

Having just played Thessia again, I have to say, Vendetta sounded almost as full of **** as Starbinger  Stuff about the Reapers being the servants of a greater cycle, blah blah blah, sounded very Starbinger like to me. It could add to the theory that the VI is hacked, or a plant.

Also, why was it that they found a Beacon, but then the VI came out of it? We found one of each in ME1, and Beacons do that fancy hold-you-in-the-air-and-mind-****-you thing. That never happened in 3, they never used the Beacon

Add to that you can hear Reaper sounds when you "feel" the Beacon (which wasn't one of Sheps abilities in any prior game).

Well I never heard them say that the current ending is the official ending it is an ending yes but is it the real one. All we have been getting is PR spin and confusion.

The only thing was from the EC blog entry "No further ending DLC is planned" but then again, with DLCs most players, including me, have the 'archaic' definition of an ending in mind.

And no, BW never defined the word ending as "that thing we got on the discs" -- except Jesse's interview, that is, but who knows what the intention behind that statement was.

Wasn't there also something from Ray Muzyka in the Bioware blog where He was saying how the players were upset with the CURRENT endings?

Notice how he said "current endings." Kinda weird, right?
