Well I have been absent for the last 200+ pages, thought I'd pop back in and see what (if anything is new) Last I was here we were still debating the merits of the guns.

So how has it been? Is it safe to venture of this thread yet or is it still a "Biowave Sux!! firing squad"

Looks like we'll have to be more patient, nothing EC related at the E3.

yikes, it seems the whole did he say can or can't thing has shown his head again, tbh I heard can't but logicallly if he had said can't then at the time of release it would have caught fire. The people who filmed it at least would have dissected that and made it major news which in turn would have been picked up by major news sites

Even though I do not play multiplayer currently, I certainly hope our single player choice at the end influences the final multiplayer push in the war effort.

I think that our choices should dictate which side we are fighting for; if we chose control then we are reapers agents fighting against the alliance troops, and if we chose destroy then we have to fight against the reapers forces, I'm not sure what synthesis people will have to do except maybe fight alongside the reapers with contollers. Indoctrinated vs. Those who broke indoctrination. Just like how the forums are now, I would play multiplayer if this happened.

Just my early morning, still half asleep gibberish.

If they won't talk about the EC at all at E3, then that means that they're still doing a lot of work on it. This would imply that we will not just be getting a few cutscenes.

Either that, or they still don't want to comment.

Pssh, big deal. Everyone's a beginner.
I for one find that player rarely say something on bronze/silver games.

This twit is interesting: http://twitter.com/M...723930454429697

We can't know if he's doing more voice acting for Shepard (like Kaidan, Hacket or EDI, which already have been confirmed) because Mark Meer is also voicing the Vorcha for the Rebellion DLC. Beautiful coincidences :D

Edit: Actually... I always forget there's also a female Shepard. Ignore me :P

I can't speak for Xbox or PS3, but on PC I find there's very rarely anyone with a mic at all.  Maybe 5% of the matches I'm in I'll hear a mic.  And even then the chatter is usually just "phantom hiding at <location>" or something a few times a match.  I'm at about N7 rating of 600 at the moment and I've only been in one match where someone was insulting the other players over mic.  Though true, in that one case he made up for the hundreds of others by raging out so hard he may have had a stroke.  ...  I kind of hope he did anyway.

If nothing else, you can arrange to play some private games with some IT or general BSN friends so you know you're not getting a random psychopath.  Quite a few times I've seen people exchanging MP names here.  Anyway, should definitely try the MP sometime.  I expected to HATE it and only planned to do as much as I needed to see the breathing scene one time.  By the time I'd gotten that galactic readiness, I'd forgotten that was why I started.

It's good the more time the better, as after mentioned in this thread Bioware originally asked EA for a 6month extension EA gave 3. The EC is the final 3 month dev time they wanted.

Having said that I would fully support a disk based expansion release in a Q4 or Q1 2013 release.

Saying that they're not talking at E3 isn't a surprise, nor is it a discouraging sign. They're keeping mum on what they're delivering. I can respect that.

This one? (sigh)

"The ME3 team is still working hard on the EC. We have no further news and won't be rushing it or announcements on it. #ME3"

They've got to throw a bone to the fans in-wait. This thing exists in an enigmatic nebulous right now, and more and more people are getting restless and losing trust.

You should try it, it is quite fun although one or two powers need to be buffed a little

We keep getting evidences, signs... but no confirmations, of course. I'm very new to this (ended ME3 thursday night) but I find very interesting the confirmation of Kaidan, Hacket and EDI to record more lines. I think, at least, we will get some "love" for Shepard by his friends and some fleet action with hacket. That's a lot more than we have right now...

Not IT related at all, but since we're talking about voice actors, does anyone else find it odd the VAs for Garrus, Ashley, & Kaiden don't voice anyone in MP?

If they did we couldn't speculate about them recording more lines for the main characters!!!

Nah, now seriously... I don't find it odd. In fact, I find odd that mr Meer is the one resposible for voicing the vorcha xD

I'm of the mind that they need to offer a point-blank answer to something---anything---about the conclusion and its intepretive/surreal nature at this point, just as a gesture of good faith.

Personally, if I were handling the PR for the extended cut, I'd strongly urge for the creators to come out and palpably confirm whether the child in the vent was actually there or not---or, at least, what their personal feelings on that matter are.  If confirmed that he wasn't real (or that most of the writers see him as such), then the speculation would shift gears upwards pretty dramatically.  If not, and it's not the direction they're going in, then it would inject a tranquilizer in the abstract analysis until the EC hits.

If they say the kid is not real, they basically confirm the theory. I guess in this case no news are good news (at least for us). If they didn't want the speculation to grew as it did... they would have said something.

Not necessarily: the kid could still be merely a projection of Shepard's war-torn subconscious, conveniently finding his way into white space among his/her visual range.

It would, however, confirm that things aren't as they seem on the surface, and that you should be encouraged to pull a DiCaprio and dig deeper.
