So have we reached any conclusion on what Jesse Houston said?
What's this about? I really do need the notes to catch up...

HE said "I can tell" or "I can't tell". There was indecision among us here.UrgedDuke wrote...

Ignoring the facial expression for a moment, it's the fact that they took the time to put him in a pose look how he is standing why would they do that if was just a place holder for when the animation was to start of him running into the building.
There was an interview with him at Comic Con 2011. The background noises made it hard to hear what he exactly said. I think he said "I can't tell you that the end of the game will be on the disc."D.Sharrah wrote...

You're not going to like my answer, Rosewind. (laughs)
From a distance, it looks like BioWare went for the "nervous child" pose, where they retract their hands towards their body in fear. You can argue that it might be a visible cue that BioWare offers to digital sleuthers. But that's what I see with a clear, practical eye interpreting the data on a story level.

can't someone ask him on twitter or something what he actually said
That might settle the argument.UrgedDuke wrote...

I'm not so sure. In that case he uses "but" with 2 positive sentences. Is this how you usually speak?EpyonX3 wrote...

When you listen to the context and listen carefully, because that video is crap, he says I can tell you.

well look at it this way, why would you tell someone that the ending is on the disc, (that should be a given) you would only tell them that the ending isn't on the disc because of the unusual situation. so i may be leaning toward "can't" instead of"can"
I also think so.balance5050 wrote...

That's the way I see it.
It's because there is t after n. But you can hear a very short 't.UrgedDuke wrote...
i put headphones on to listen to it again and it sounds like can tho
He could post in here and clarify that.Rosewind wrote...
