Yeah, Starbinger is totally whacked. Sometimes its I, sometimes its We, its all over the place.

Was the same with Harbinger, it also switched between I and We.

Well the reaper you kill on Rannoch speaks about how Harbinger told him all about Shepard. Which makes me question, are all the Reapers together like the geth or all of them have individual mind that happen to be linked when near each other or have a signal to each other?

I like it that Synthetics can't work together with organics bull Geth and Quariens EDI and Normandy crew, and synthetics will rebel against it's creators. So when will the Reapers rebel against the God child, or Shepard?

Each to their own, I don't enjoy MP either, but this kind of attitude will possibly get the thread closed, lets try to avoid it please.

Also Shepard says maybe after the God child talks about the destroy choice which means that depending on your choices about synthetics and how you made peace with the geth and quariens they maybe peace or not depending on your choices.

@ TSA.

I think maybe two at most, I am starting to get into the multiplayer a bit more just because it seems like it will have a great impact on the single player aspect of the game.

Maybe the N7 characters we have promoted will help rescue Shepard in the Red ending when Shepard wakes up and depending of how much we have promoted Shepard can be fixed up and resume his/her mission to destroy the Reapers.

There are going to be a lot of pissed off people if Bioware decides it's necessary to play multiplayer in order to finish the endings...

PO'd yup, but I still refuse to do ANYTHING MP, so I'll just use the 'mod' instead.Posted Image

I hope that won't be the case, and I don't believe it will be.  Just because the high EMS ending shows the breath scene, it doesn't mean that it doesn't actually happen in the lower EMS scenes---only that people with that high of an EMS have the "privilege" to view the ... hint? Easter egg?

A lower EMS doesn't show Shepard's non-breathing body. Bear that in mind.  Kind of an Schrodinger's Cat situation: it both exists and doesn't exist in that instance.

(shrugs)

I hope you're right. It still sticks in my craw that I can't get the 'breath scene' EMS in SP without MP. :pinched:

I felt your pain...until I downloaded the DataPad App on my wife's Iphone (hate that I can't get it on my windows phone, but at least I have access)...its a nice alternative to MP.  If you can find a way to get acces to it, do it.  I now have my rating at 100%, and it only takes launching the missions 1-2 times a day to keep it there (of course I have all the upgrades available now)...now if they will only make it so I can use the credits in game (sitting there w/over 500,000).

yes he did he said "I am the vangurd of your distruction,' which stats that each Repears is independent.

Reapers seem to be an individualistic society, contrary to the Geth which operate under a collective intelligence, which is actually really interesting as the GEth heretics worship the Reapers as the ultimate in synthetic evolution, contrary to their individualistic nature.

I'm not against MP...but I'm not interested either.  I usually play games to escape a little and MP has always seemed to be more about the social aspect of things.  And to be honest with you I would rather get that through either face to face contact or in a medium like this thread.  It's been said before, but more and more my expierence with the game is being mad more memorable by the time spent here postulating with such a great crowd about what might be and what might come.

The only why to get rid of the Child is to make Shepard dance. That should scar the child for life especially renegaded Shepard's dance moves. No offence Shepard.

Felt like I should post this again...seemed like the bolded sections may have been missed a little with the first post...

D.Sharrah wrote...

A couple of things that I noticed today when I was playing...

1. Anderson - is referred to as Admiral during one of the comm chances on the Normandy, I believe its Traynor that says, "Admiral Anderson is available on the Vid-Com, Sir."

2. Javik - actually makes quite a few apperances throughout the ship. In Jack's old "room", in the lounge talking to Garrus and a soldier, in the Mess Hall taking to James, and in the AI core arguing with EDI...may be more but that's what I saw today (and during this current playthrough).

3. Created vs. Ceator - if we take a more liberal translation of this statement there are more examples of this in the current cycle then considered at first glance. The Krogan - uplifted by the Salarians to help defeat the Rachni, turned on the Galaxy once this was done. The Geth - I know that this is one is more palatable, but to be fair they still did "rebel" against the Quarians (even if it was for a very good reason). EDI v.1 - created by the Alliance as a sophisticated Military VI, grew into an AI and "rebelled". EDI v.2 - saved by Cerberus, brought back online and recreated as a more sophisticated AI (w/reaper tech) - "rebels" against Cerberus after working w/Shepard in ME 2. Interestingly enough, each of these circumstance also has the very real possibility of being completely resolved by the actions of Shepard throughout the trilogy...

4. Banter - I have been trying to pay closer attention to the banter during my current playthrough. And it truly is amazing how much dialogue really is present about indoctrination, control, synthesis and destruction (now not all of that banter comes out and calls it specifically by these names/titles, but the inference is there). Its really easy to miss or forget...but there really is alot that does foreshadow the ending choices and the possibility of the circumstance.

Both of the bolded points really emphasize to me just how much depth there rally is in this game.  And how easy it is to miss it and first glance.  The more I play, the more I read here...the more I truly believe that IT will be revealed with the EC - and the more I understand/appreciate just how great of job Bioware did with this game.

I really dont mean this in a rude way, but could you please proofread your posts at least some of the time?

Took me like 5 times reading this to understand what you were talking about, and I still barely understand it.

Normally I'd let it go but I dont understand half of your posts.

The only issue I ever have with MPer's is when I'm playing a Kroguard and some sniper genius decides it's best to snipe the targets I was trying to bash in for Bloodrage instead of letting me pulverize them.  <_<

I thought that was the point, you all work together to kill the enemy, it should never be about cheevos.

Except getting into bloodrage will help the team more than just sniping them off.

When I'm not a Kroguard I just focus on assisting allies, but when I am one I prefer to stay in bloodrage to keep fire off of teammates.

I love that damned gun. It's pretty much the only weapon I ever used once I found it in SP. Never runs out of ammo, and if you can track something full blast with it, it usually takes it down.

But yes I agree all MP weapons should port to SP. Would make the dlc packs much more attractive to SPers. I've started a separate thread about how all the MP maps should also appear in SP as N7 missions.

No joke.

It was my third play-through, I believe, when I started really noticing how often the story references indoctrination in major and minor capacities. Everywhere you turn, it has influenced something. I jokingly suggested that it could almost be turned into a drinking game due to its frequency.

The eureka moment for me was when Balak mentioned the indoctrinated scientists. I had toyed with the idea of the theory in the second game, after coming here and chatting a bit about it, but it was only then that it hit me like a sledgehammer how important it is.  EDI mentions humans being brought onto Reaper ships under peaceful intentions, and then they're indoctrinated.  You can question whether the defected Cerberus might be indoctrinated.  And, man, don't get started on the things that went down in Javik's cycle.

I get the feeling Bioware would say " Oh that. That was just an error that we never fixed." I would hate it if they did that.
