It's like the kid, whoever he really is or if he was lying or not, to me he is a proof that Reapers are in Shepard's mind or manipulating it...

Not entirely. While one Shepard is not like another, it is still possible to let's say romance no on in ME1, Tali in 2 and 3, and still see Liara or the VS in the ending flashback. While on another Shepard it's possible not to recruit Tali in ME1, and have her die in ME2 so she's not even in 3. Liara Ashely and Kaiden are the only ones you have no choice about recruiting in 1, but none of them can be recruited in 2 (Liara doesn't really count as a squadmate since she's only a squadmate in DLC) and all three are guranteed squad members in ME3 (minus the VS that didn't survive ME1 obviously..
I'm trying to look beyond "Bioware didn't have time render movies for all LI's" even with the variables in each game file you would only have to render 1-2 second duration clips.... then again maybe it was another asset thing for the ending movie. Which I won't pretent to fully understand, but it looks like cutscenes added on top of gameplay so why not just add more cutscenes/different cutscenes on top of it.

Today was the first day I went out of home since I ended ME3 (last thursday). I guess it's easier to think I had overcome my depression while talking with you guys & gals. Still feeling like a zombie. Oh well... Nothing new really... time will cure it. Would be nice to have a nice ending to all this, but that never happened to me.
I could really use any good news from Bioware, though.

The whole thing might not be about who Shepard romanced (at least not entirely). What's common about Ashley/Kaidan and Liara is that they are guaranteed to be Shepard's friends for the longest time and squadmates. There might also be other things they have in common. Ashley and Liara were rescued by Shepard, on Eden Prime and Therum respectively. Kaidan was rescued on Virmire.gunslinger_ruiz wrote...

I'm getting my hopes up that Bioware will announce something ME3 related at E3 (June 4-6 or 7th i think?) but no idea what. Maybe just a trailer for EC who knows.

That's exactly what I'm trying to get at, what if it wasn't just meant to show your LI if your LI was Liara Ash or Kaidan what if it was showing us something else entirely. Fits with it showing us Joker and Anderson and not just 3 scenes of our LI.
Your point only rings true with some Shepard playthroughs not all. Keep in mind Kaidan was only rescued on Virmire if you rescued him at all, if you rescued Ash instead then that means you've done so twice including Eden Prime and Kaidan is nowhere to be seen in the flashbacks. Know what I mean?
The only things the flashbacks have in common; Joker Anderson Liara and VS all look at you, some nod, some smile. They are all allies. They are all friends. At least one of them (Anderson) is dead.

Well, Shepard lived Jenkin's death with Kaidan. That's also a pretty soft moment. Kaidan and Shepard have a very strong bond (LI or not). For example, Garrus is also one of the best friends Shepard have... but Kaidan... there's something more there. It's a much deeper relationship, more than friendship. I mean, Kaidan is like his little brother (even if Kaidan is 3 years older than Shepard). And if you go to the LI way, well, you know.

Don't start feeling like you're all alone out there. ME is the first RPG I ever played. I got hooked on it and put alot into it. Probably too much. It was a good escape from alot of RL crap. That's why the ending feels like a betrayal of some kind. Strong words for a game, I know. But there it is. Just remember it was alot of fun and it ain't over till it's over. And it ain't over yet. Hold the line soldier. The IT community has your back.Corik wrote...

Honestly, I don't think there's anything there suggesting any evidence towards IT. I always say the same, evidences must be really clear to see/hear. There's no point in hiding things.
Like "The Illusive Kid" making noises in the Vent before you talk to him and not making a single noise when he disappears. Or the balcony where you see him the second time being completely isolated (except for the structure of the Alliance building). Or the dream transition (bright glow screen) when you are "hit" by Harby. Or the blood coming from you when you shot Anderson. Or the radio chatter when you "stand up" after Harby's hit. Or the weird behaviour of Joker fleeing the battle and leaving you behind. Or why your crewmates are on the normandy when minutes ago they were with you in London. Or the weird symbolism in your dreams. Or the "oily" shadows on screen when you are talking to TIM. Or the people ignoring the child during the shuttle scene even when they have been helping everyone who was trying to escape. Or Rieperbieber (starchild) using the same sintax than Harby. Or Harby leaving the beam defenseless when there are still human troops in the area. Or how Shepard recovers his spirit when choosing the destroy option. Or how Shepard recovers from his injuries after the "magic elevator" scene. Or why the roof where the child was playing doesn't exist anymore when fleeing from the Alliance building.
Just woke up, probably I forgot a lot of clear evidences. But my point is... there's no need of secret evidence hid in the game and only noticeable with editing programs.
Agreed. But they are not meant to be found by the players or to speculate with. IMO.
But afterwards people just start searching for clues and find them.

I'm not sure that EC will feature at E3, which is fine with me. Regardless of your opinion of the ending it is a fact that Bioware were rushed to release and didn't get the delay from EA that they asked for. as far as I'm concerned Bioware can take another 6months or a year or even longer to make the EC(Although if it takes a year I expect hugh amounts of gameplay rather than just 1-2hrs worth)

I "think" we can assume it will be a "big" DLC. They have very little to make from scratch. They have most of the assets from the game. They just need to make some cutscenes, some cinematics and, maybe, some new locations. Look at the work with the MP DLCs and we can guess an estimate of how big EC will be.
I "think" a simple closure and explanation DLC would take very little time to make under this circunstances.
