Organics have been all over the Citadel so he was probably lying about that just like he was lying about most everything else he says.

I'm not sure if I'm making complete sense of the conversation going on here, but the catalyst saying "here" wasn't meant to be taken as a literal "here" in terms of the Citadel; it's the figurative "here", as in "no organic has gotten to the point where we've needed to reevaluate our decision".

Also, Shepard's still partly organic, no matter how you slice it, and s/he fights for the organic's agenda.  Therefore: organic.

I think the catalyst's telling some truths.  Every word out of its lips isn't a lie.

"The fact that you are standing here, the first organic ever, proves it."

That's the thing though, most people don't take that part as figurative. But really, I think the entire thing ias figurative.

PS. In this video (same one where catalyst says "most of the technology you rely on") he says "The crucible changed me, created new possibilities, but I can't make them happen, and I won't." He doesn't always say "and I won't" does he?

http://www.youtube.c...czhHtqgY#t=975s

No, he doesn't

That's really interesting... But I have no idea what it depends on... EMS? destroying colector base? Nothing's really clear... :D

Cool tidbit, maybe not relevant, been looking through the sound files and I think the sound of the crucible exploding is one of the Cain sounds + effects.

Interesting, Earth is also the only place where those can be found...

Hm, so that's maybe how Shep might've destroyed the Conduit. Speculations!

Yknow, I remember people talking about how the subtitles switch from calling Anderson just "Anderson" to "Admiral Anderson" after Harby's beam hits you.

It may have been mentioned and I just missed it, but has anyone else noticed in the very beginning of the game, when you first meet Anderson, Shep calls him just "Anderson" but then after the explosion in the Alliance Council room, Anderson gets on the radio, and refers to himself as Admiral Anderson?

I mean, sure, thats how people in the military would refer to themselves, but I find it interesting that it kind of parallels the way the subtitles refer to Anderson in the end, and that both times the change to Admiral occur after Shepard has been knocked out.

XDDDD Speculation time!

After when someone tries to find out what he's talking about:

"Nope, some secrets stay internal."

FUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuu:pinched:

It's funny how "nope, some secrets stay internal" if you change the order of its letters you can get "Catalyst's peon intense remorse"... if I've done it right.

Not saying that was intended (thinking that would be going TOO FAR)... just saying it's funny.  XDDDD

I know that its probably been discussed before but what do you guys
think the reason is that the blood around the edges of the screen
disappear after you go through the beam.

I would say story telling purposes. Besides, you need to clean the screen for the oily shadows during your conv with TIM.

Yes, I think it depens on your EMS because the brat didnt give the synthesis option and he said to Shepard "why are you here" instead of "wake up" (and this answer reminds me some signatures I see around here...), so for the child synthesis is the solution...

One more thing: I wasn't sure if this has been brought up yet, but I noticed that during the ending the screen has dark boarders just like in the dreams
Posted Image                   the boarders are hard to see but they are in the corners

the boarders can clearly be seen in the corners of this screenshot, just as the rest of the ending

I wish I had better pictures. I'm having a hard time finding screenshots of the ending when shepard is "inside" the citadel

While looking for screenshots that show the borders (actually called "vignette effects") are there throughout the entire game, i found something more intriguing.

I'm not sure if many people here know this, but the "decision room" was called "Guardians Garden" in the original leaked script, so Starbiebers original name was "Guardian"

Now, i found this website that has a quite interesting insight into how the ingame models were made.
But look at the picture of the kid, and the URL for the image.

Interview: http://www.pixologic...mass-effect3/2/

File in question: http://www.pixologic...dian_ingame.jpg

Yes, guardian_ingame

Now, in my opinion they would have no reason to name the file that way, other than either being given the file with the name, or being told the name by the developers.

Since the textures of the kid look like the actual kid, not all space-blue like Starkid, i would say this is pretty acceptable proof that the child is indeed some form of Starchild.

Hi everyone, hope you've all been well. So it's been awhile for me (been very busy) just wondering if any major revelations of new ideas have come up in the past (oh, I don't know) 150 pages or so?

First person to fill me in on everything gets a free jar of batman cookies*

*Batman cookies are subject to availability and general existence.

1. Disappearing garden on Earth
2. Dream music and Reaper growl in Vancouver HQ
3. Supposedly inferior-quality reused 3D models in Stargazer scene
4. No news on the EC during E3 confirmed

Send me cocoa-flavored cookies. Posted Image

Thanks paxxton

1. Disappearing gaden? This has me intrigued.
2. Knew this one.
3. Hmm, I take it this is about the small yet streched out adult/kid.
4. Dammit.

I have no idea when it happened, but I take it you're aware that Chris Priestly conducted a poll over at HoldTheLine's base of operations about the Indoctrination Theory and whether it's believed/wanted?

The end results were, I believe, roughly 80/20 FOR the theory once all was said and done.

I did not know this but it's good to know that the majority of the forum community is behind the ITD. Meaning that at least 80% of forum dwellers have the capabilities of thought, faith and logical reasoning.

:( No cookie *Pout*

Oh, I can't stay angry at you Rosewind, so in that case:

The garden where the child plays with his toy during the first scene. When you are fleeing from the Alliance HQ you can see that the garden has disappeared. As if it never existed before.

I wouldn't if I was you. Although I always knew getting a high N7 score was just an indicator of constant promotions not actual skill I've actually came to the realization that most of the high ranked players I've come across (1800+) are pretty crap and probably just farmed firebase white for a week. Some of the easiest gold extractions I've had have been with lower N7 ranked players.

My original plan, before they added promotion as the goal for certain weekends, was to just hit 120 N7 and stay there, since that would mean I have every class at level 20, for when I needed them.
