There;s a pic on page two and it really does seem to be her, for what that's worth.
EDIT- but she doesn't seem to appear for all Sheps.

Okay first of all, I apologise if some of this doesn’t make sense, it’s late and I’m knackered. Anyway, I was bored earlier and thought I’d have a go at analysing the endings from a film makers perspective and I have to say certain shots are very telling.
The two shots that jump out the most for me are in the control ending, the main one being the close up of Shepard dropping their gun. If all Bioware wanted to show was Shepard dropping their gun why did they use a close up and not just have a long or medium shot showing them dropping it like in the synthesis ending? Now you could say they did it for stylistic effect or to make it look different to the shot used in the synthesis ending, however in film making you normally only use close ups on details like that when they have a significant meaning and you’re trying to convey that to the audience. It could be drawing emphasis on an important object so that the audience doesn't forget about it or it could be used in a more symbolic way to convey emotions. To me this small scene came across as a symbolic gesture of Shepard laying down their arms, or in the case of IT, giving up.
Also in the control ending is the close up of the Star-brat. Now I think it’s been speculated here in this thread that the Star-brat may be smiling in the control ending but because of his transparent nature it’s impossible to tell. Personally I think he is and this shot backs that theory up. In the other endings you just see Star-brat disappear, you never see his face, so why in the control ending do they show him?
As I said before, close ups are generally used to convey deeper meanings and emotions, but there are multiple types of close ups and each have slightly different meanings when used in certain contexts. Medium close ups are like the one that was used in the scene where Shepard dropped their gun, it was used to draw emphasis to the action and possibly convey the symbolism of Shepard giving up. In the scene with Star-brat a cross between a normal close up and a big close up was used. Big close ups are generally used in interviews to emphasis the interviewees tension or, more importantly in this case, suggest that the person is lying or not to be trusted. Since there is no way to confirm whether he/it is smiling or showing any expression at all, make of this what you will.
Now for other examples. They aren’t as telling as the shots in the control ending but they’re interesting all the same.
In the synthesis ending, once Shepard jumps into the beam the camera is positioned above and behind him/her. Why not have the camera positioned below them as they jump into the beam? Having the camera at a high angle above and looking down at the character generally means that whoever the camera is supposed to represent, whether it be the audience or another character, is in a position of greater power and making the character on screen appear weaker. However according to some of my text books it can also suggest a feeling of detachment.
And finally in the destroy ending a large portion of the scene is made up of close ups, as the scene goes on the close ups become more and more extreme. Generally the rule is, the more extreme the close up the more emotion and symbolism the scene is trying to represent. So in the case of the destroy ending the shots are designed to show Shepards anger and determination.
Interesting stuff and it lends some credence to IT.

And yup, same here. Think Hale's voice acting is superb in ME.

My brother had them, but he lost them a long time ago, 4 years, I think!

Hmm, so that Ashley thing. Without a Kaiden appearance I can't say it's IT-ish, but I can't think of another way to explain it. Some people have suggested it's an easter egg and stuff but I don't buy that. And it's a weird ass glitch :S
I believe I just read that Kaidan wasn't present in the Ashley-alive version of the scene. Odd thing apparently: NOBODY's in that place during the Ashley-alive scene.
I wonder if Kaidan's floating around somewhere else.

There's a pretty easy way to answer that:

Yes, I'd agree that if it's intentional then that is probable. HOPEFULLY somewhere else in that scene, not hidden at some other traumatic point during the game :S

I think it could be intentional; but, if anything, it's a byproduct of PTSD and not an indoctrination hint. Still, it's a pretty interesting and ghostly easter egg, if that's the case.

Agreed, but it would point out that Shep's sanity is not what it was.

High res screenshots show it's her, or someone VERY similar looking. To be honest I can't believe the guy picked it up from that video, she's just a blueish blob in it

True. You see your deceased friends' faces in crowds at the oddest times (I do, at least, and I'm not even officially diagnosed). Reflecting this could be their intentions. Regardless, IT or not, if that's Ash the inclusion WAS intentional for whatever reason. That's not just "lazy Bioware reusing assets".

NICE photosniping! Do we even need the flycam anymore?
Here's a good question though... if she's dead since Virmire, why is she wearing armor and a hairstyle that Shep potentially never saw?
