Hmm, so that Ashley thing. Without a Kaiden appearance I can't say it's IT-ish, but I can't think of another way to explain it. Some people have suggested it's an easter egg and stuff but I don't buy that. And it's a weird ass glitch :S
I believe I just read that Kaidan wasn't present in the Ashley-alive version of the scene. Odd thing apparently: NOBODY's in that place during the Ashley-alive scene.
I wonder if Kaidan's floating around somewhere else.
There's a pretty easy way to answer that:artistic integrityFlycam!

...And then not weird, Kaiden floating is almost certainly a result of the cutscene, since that's where you last saw him I think. But it does seem to confirm ashes presence.

I very much believe in IT but since it seems to be the beat up version of Ashley, it's probably loaded for the alternate version of that scene.

It's not Ashley. This woman has brown hair and the armor is different.

NICE photosniping! Do we even need the flycam anymore? That's definitely Ash!
Here's a good question though... if she's dead since Virmire, why is she wearing armor and a hairstyle that Shep potentially never saw?

He's the best I could get. My fly cam bugged out here and couldn't move.

I'm sure shepard would have seen her with her hair down at least once before she died

Each character has two armour sets, remember, and this is Ashes.

This doesn't even need to be IT, though. And if they loaded both models why not stick whichever you aren't using out of sight?

OH SNAP!
Bioware, You Crazy!
Anyway, I always wanted, ever since virmire, to find that whoever I left survived somehow and would return in a later game. This isn't what I imagined lol.
This is a pretty big glitch though. I don't see the IT in this.

I think in this instance it is probably just an oversight and wasn't actually supposed to be in shot.
I don't even know if it's a glitch, it makes sense that both Ashley and Kaiden would be loaded into the scene, since either of them could be alive for this, but why they load it into the background all non-chalantly I don't know. They could have just put her under the floorr like the guy who makes the creepy footsteps in Shepards cabin.EpyonX3 wrote...

Not saying it implies IT, could totally be just a neat thing for Bioware to do. If it was a mistake...the angles are weird. I mean, you could have stashed her model other places in the room that the camera doesn't see. And they must have known the model was there,
As for glitch....eh. I mean, how late into the process of making the cutscene could her model have suddenly appeared?
Still, while Kaiden remains undiscovered I'm willing to accept it's meaningless.

It's an awfully strange time to have a slip-up like that. Carting one Virmire survivor into the hospiral while they're on the brink of death, and you see the other---very much dead---in the background.

I know, just making the observation. You're right though, they could have put her under the floor like they do with other models, unless that floor was special lol.
If Kaiden was here, I'd say you guys had something. But then Shepard walks right past her and no one else seems to care. I mean Ashley Williams is supposed to be dead and she's just standing there, bruised up.

Dream logic! But nah, someone said in that other thread that it couldn't be in Shepards head because Shep has her back to Ashley and couldn't see her. i lol'ed
