Fine if your going to rebuild IT then I want all pro IT to answer my question: What is the real ending?
So Shepard wakes up in London and now what....
If I pick Destroy, how do I destroy the Reapers in the real world?
If I pick Control, how do I control the Reapers in the real world?
If I pick Synthesis, do I then have to get up and shoot my squadmates and the allies to save the Reapers? Oh how nice of me to turn traitor at the last second.
Until this has an answer, your Indoctrination Theory falls apart at its core.
Who said destroy or control actually destroyed or controlled in the real world?
Synthesis and control = indoctrinated
Destroy = breaking free
You seem to forget the Crucible is still there. We havent used it yet in IT. We can still use it to beat the Reapers.

That's my main beef with IT, as much as I want to believe it (see my post above). The game will always have a "true" ending. For IT to be true, what is the true ending then?

I think the truth is that the endings were not a dream. However shepard is being influenced by the reapers and most of the IT evidence is legit. Shepard will not wake up to continue the fight, but we can speculate that control and synthesis are sugar coated bad endings. We can speculate that destroy does not kill the geth or edi, since shepard lives.

There's not much in the way of "breadcrumbs" telling us what happens next after the current ending, as far as analysis goes, it does not equal mindreading.

Yes, but again, assuming IT to be true, what happens afterwards for Synthesis/Control? I can't believe that Shepard (as someone so eloquently put it) simply ups and shoots his friends in the back after waking up.

I was going to suggest that maybe those opposing shadows could suggest the opposite facets of personality, but that's probably been mentioned before. I'm still not completely convinced that it wasn't just a lighting issue.
Fair point. But the shadows seem to magically work again after TIM is shot...

So you assume Control somehow means Indocrinated? Oh yes not only TIM thinks he can use Reaper tech, but some Protheans also tried to and that is mentioned on Thessia. They are all wrong or Indoctrinated?

I believe the details are best left to Bioware. What the future may bring if IT is true we can't possibly know. The Invisible Commando wrote...

Essentially, it's:
Destroy--> resisted indoctrination attempt, can go on to save the world (maybe use the 'real' crucible?)
Control or Synthesis--> game over (probably); or, same as above, but you can't directly control Shepard or something like that

Yes, part of my point... and what might that suggest?
Either the shadows resolved themselves because the lighting was right or...

Umm, its made pretty clear they were indoctrinated. So they were both wrong AND indoctrinated.

I think the "gameplay sequence where Shepard falls under full reaper control" mentioned in the FInal Hours App, is alluding to this post indoc sequence you are referring to.
The EC will show us hopefully.
