NDA's are pretty standard, this would happen IT or not. I mean, they can't have her spoiling the product before release.

But if it's only clarification on the endings taken literally then they've technically already spoiled that, the fact that the NDA's are so prominent I think is telling (or maybe I'm just overly hopeful).

NDAs are standard operating procedure. Even if EC was just ten minutes of Shep burping there would be an NDA.

I think it's got an NDA because there's going to be gameplay, but that's just me expressing my hopes.

Indeed.  There are unique facets of what's going on that they don't want the public to know---or, at least, that's how I'm taking the Meer-Hale NDA language. If they arrived at the exact same conclusions with nothing else interesting to report outside of elaboration, then I don't think official measures would really be needed.

Something else is going on there, methinks. Doesn't mean IT directly, at all, but it means something significant that would be considered spoiling a surprise.

A friend of mine is doing his first ME3 playthrough right now.
Now we hang up in XBox Live Party while he is playing and he is always asking me about his current missions because he wants everything set right for the ending...
Boy if he knew what's waiting for him...
