one thing that gets me in ME1 is why didn't Matriarch Bennezia (or however u spell it) have blue or yellow indoctrinated eyes?

Probably the same reason Banshee's don't have those eyes - as someone suggested previously, maybe Asari indoctrinated just go in to the black eye mode.

Of course, ME1 - were they thinking that far ahead to 'colour' eyes based on indoc? To me, ME1 was all about organic vs synthetic - never even crossed my mind at the time that Shep could possibly be remotely indoc'd.

It's even stated in the game. And it's shown in the monastery level.

Remember the Asari in the hospital after her mission on Tiptree?
"No, it's not that. I... How are my eyes? What color are they right now?"
...
"So I'm in the shower, with hot water and everything. And that's when Neaira came."
"Neaira was another huntress on your ship?"
"Yeah. A friend. I wanted it to be more than that, but she had a... medical condition."
"It's okay. It's in the file."
"The farm girl calls in to me that another asari is here. I thought the shuttle had gotten back early. I come out in a towel... and Neaira walks through the door. But it wasn't her. Not anymore. She's got this glow, and the Reapers... they did to her what they do to everyone. She's covered in... I don't know... and glowing. She reaches out, her eyes go black, and she touches one of the farmers, and he just... dies. They panic, and she rips them apart. Sometimes touching, sometimes opening them up with biotics. The humans are turning into... liquid. And I'm there in my towel with no gun. And husks start pouring through the door."
...
"Neaira's eyes were black. The whole time, not just for a second. I could feel her mind from where I was standing."
...
"She was coming closer, with those dead black eyes... and Hilary, the farm-girl, she couldn't stop crying. They were going to hear."
Though one bit is extremely interesting "the humans are turning into liquid", just by her touch?

Not really IT related, but lately I'v been seeing a "Mass Effect 2 the arrival" advertisement on the xbox's "home" slide. But when I click it it just takes me to the netflix sign-up page.

Someone should fix that....

You know how each dream ends with fire?
You know when Shepard stumbles forward and the screen goes black?

More signs that the dream starts with the Mako crash?

Also, while this time the sudden transition uses a black, every other transition after that crash uses white, just like in the dreams. This is one for the (complete) hallucination starts before Harbinger blast.

Dunno, but the whole game feels like ME1 though it's obviously different. Like a mixture of ME1 and ME2.

Yep, that's the impression I got. It's even called "the conduit", isn't it?

That was strange for me since the first time I saw it.

Both conduits serve the same purpose. Hence the name. I doubt there's any connection. It's more like deja vu in reality.

I need to go back and play all of Priority: Earth again, and pay attention to the frequency that the conduit is mentioned before they actually come up to it. Been a while since I've done so anyway (been a while since I've played non-MP, to be honest).

There is a common misconception that the bodies are not there until after you get hit with harby's beam. The bodies are actually there during the conduit run, they are just difficult to notice.

Yes it is.

You know, there's a few weird things with the dialogue in this game. A few time when it seems like they are talking to the player and not just Shepard.

The Arrival: "Step forward and you'll have all the PROOF you need."

- The proof that Shepard has indeed had the contact needed to be indoctrinated.

Directly before the mako crash: "Alright everyone, this. Is. IT." *crash*

- We were still on our way and had no idea what was to come yet, why was THAT it?

On the "citadel": "They're controlling YOU!" Right as anderson turns and faces the camera, turns and faces the PLAYER.

I'm probably reading to much into this but if all these interviews are any indication, Bioware is pretty good with words when they want to be.

Maybe the bodies are real before the hit. Makes sense if the Reapers send people to the Citadel.

Yeah, that's something many people are forgetting: these folks are still pretty deft when it comes to the purpose and gravity of dialogue.

Well ... (sigh) ... as long as Kai Leng isn't involved.
