Dream starting with the crash would make the pile of bodies make more sense.

It makes the entire suicide run make more sense... conduit on Ilos anyone?

Yep, that's the impression I got. It's even called "the conduit", isn't it?

Yes it is.

You know, there's a few weird things with the dialogue in this game. A few time when it seems like they are talking to the player and not just Shepard.

The Arrival: "Step forward and you'll have all the PROOF you need."

- The proof that Shepard has indeed had the contact needed to be indoctrinated.

Directly before the mako crash: "Alright everyone, this. Is. IT." *crash*

- We were still on our way and had no idea what was to come yet, why was THAT it?

On the "citadel": "They're controlling YOU!" Right as anderson turns and faces the camera, turns and faces the PLAYER.

I'm probably reading to much into this but if all these interviews are any indication, Bioware is pretty good with words when they want to be.

That line becomes sweeter, every time I hear it.

It's ingenious:
A game, where the player is controlling the main character, is in fact being controlled by a character and loses control. Some got controlled towards chosing control.

I can understand why some players don't like a theory that suggest/hints something like this.

Sorry, I don't follow.

There is a common misconception that the bodies are not there until after you get hit with harby's beam. The bodies are actually there during the conduit run, they are just difficult to notice.

Maybe the bodies are real before the hit. Makes sense if the Reapers send people to the Citadel.

So you're saying the 2D bodies that are nothing but ashley/kaiden with jenkin's face are real now...?

You can't say it too much, if you want to convince the player that that really is the end. :bandit:

Doesn't explain the the bodies all being flat textures of Ash and Kaiden. Though I suppose from a distance they're real and Shep remembers and incorporates the piles in the dream but never saw  them up close so doesn't know what they look like.

Oh, I've gone cross eyed.

NO. I say that maybe there were bodies of different people before the hit. After the hit Shepard sees "dream piles" of Ash/Kaidan.

It's used multiple times with increased frequency towards the ending. I almost thought someone at BioWare watched too much MJ.

That's why Priestly said on twitter "Nope, some secrets stay internal" which is an anagram of "Catalyst's peon intense remorse". It was a hint saying that people who choose control were only peons and that they will feel intense remorse for that :P

XDDD Just kidding (but the anagram is true, though)

Priestly's tweet? yes, he said somethin about a meeting with good news and not able to share them with Jessica Merizan. Someone asked him to share with the fans and he answered that.

Btw, I don't mean the odds of the anagram being made on purpose, just the probability of it being random.

Of course it is! But you have to admit it is FUN. I said I was just kidding with it, but it's real (as a random anagram) and really funny given the circunstances.
