Indeed +1. If the universe was truly as infinite as the Reapers' "Synthetics destroying all organics everywhere" spiel strongly implies, then Stargazer could have just as easily been talking about anything else. But I dont even believe the Stargazer scene was part of the story at all, so it's a moot point to me.

I think the Stargazer scene telling a "general" story of the Shepard(s) kinda falls into a similar idea as yours. Doesn't matter if it's this Shepard or that Shepard: it's the general idea of "the Shepard" that pertains to the audience.
Also, I think that might be---MIGHT be---why BioWare used the familiar space winter image as the *cough* inspiration for the backdrop: to create a type of visual link between what we're seeing at the end and an image we're "familiar" with in the modern era.
Not sure if you missed this or not, but the Stargazer scene's background isnt just based on a classic image, it's taken directly from the artwork of this album which is based on that classic image. I believe there is a clue hidden in the lyrics of that album somewhere, though I'm not sure if we've discovered what it is or not.

well remeber Bioware said there was an easter egg but a lot of people were thinking it was the breathing sence though I think it was the Stargazer sence, or we the fans made the easter egg up.
I agree.
I dont think the Stargazer scene actually occurs if you didnt import a save file for your very first playthrough.
I think you either had to import a save or beat the game twice to see it.
So it kind of is an easter egg, except nearly everyone imported a save, so they didnt realize it.
Though I could be wrong about all of that.

The line going through the O.
with the line it sounds like this: "eerrrr," you know, kinda like the sound you make when you're confused. Without the line, it sounds like this: "oh."
Sorry, it's because Søren Kirkegård was danish, and I'm partly danish, so I knew that

I'm not sure where the red version of the album artwork came from, to be honest, but it definitely predates the stargazer scene, so that has to mean something.

Like I said a while back, something can only be unprecedented once, and never again. This is the only time something like this is going to work for gaming, and that's why IT has captivated my attention so much. It's basically a one-time experience.
For me it's the closest thing to watching the first moonlanding on TV. Really, not much big going on in my generation.
It really is innovative...
Indoctrinating and dividing the player base...
The single greatest plot twist in gaming history...
Bioware would be fools to pass it up...

Thanks, and yeah, trolls have no comeback to the sentiments in that reply I made, because its an irrefutable point.
We stand nearly 3 months after the game's release. If you no longer have faith in Bioware and think ME3 is a failure, you have closure. If you have closure, 3 months is plenty of time to grieve and move on. If you're still here, then either something is fundamentally wrong with you, or you're a troll.
The only people that should still be here at this point are the ones who believe something better is on the way.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on in this picture?

Someone came along and posted it in this thread without any clarification or speculation about it. If I had to guess, I'd say it has to be either a glitch or some kind of mod. Thoughts anyone?

I think it's just a glitch, because that doesn't happen on the PS3, but I've seen it happen on the PC, so I guess that's just a PC bug.

Probable a glitch but then again she was in action during the Collector attack on Horizon for a while and the Collectors could have done something to her, but ya a glitch.

Whats going on with that picture is it's going to be haunting my nightmares for the next few days, thats what!
To be serious though, it kind of reminds me of glitch I used to see in WoW every once in a while. I have an old pic:

Seems like the game is just mapping something else's face texture onto the wrong model.

The problem is, if it's a glitch, then its a multi-faceted glitch, because not only is her appearance twisted and distorted, but she seems to be using the walking animation of a husk.
