Sadly 360, probably the last game I buy for 360 besides Halo. It just felt right to get ME on the 360 cause that's where I first played ME1....

I actually own Skyrim on 360 AND PC 'cause I just couldn't take it anymore though..... When Oblivion came out there was less of a gap between pcs and consoles..... Skyrim forced me to buy a new computer but it was SOOO worth it... Too bad the Skyrim expansion is on 360 first....

Balls I want some one to MP with.

Start a topic in the I.T. group... There's an MP topic for 360 in there so making one for PC would be welcomed.

Well, it wasn't meant to cause that reaction in any way. Don't try to watch the entire video then.

Strange. Try this one:

Huh. I was expecting it to be the GLaDOS transformation audio log that they cut from the game because it was too disturbing. Didn't help that if you didn't know the context it sounded like they were raping her. ... Not that what they were actually doing was any better.

Deception, loopholes, ample opportunity for word twisting.

Even the pop-up advert leaves room for interpretation, but I wont mention this outside of this thread because I don't want to be murdered.

"Shepard has become a legend for defeating the reapers" = first person to survive indoc.
"Continue to shape that legend with DLC" = actually beat the reaper's physical forms.
(I'm aware it appears whatever choice, Shep could still survive even if they make the 'wrong' choice. I doubt the DLC would just give a game over for not picking destroy with over 4000 EMS)

The fact it has a popup in the ending that says "Continue to shape that legend with DLC" just shows to me that they planned the Extended Content even before the announcement, or at least somewhere on the lines of new missions. I also believe that the ending popup said a little more in that you could continue the legend with dlc and further gameplay.

I have a question for the IT'ers...what do you consider to be gameplay? What does Bioware? Is it combat? Is it dialogue? What is gameplay?

I ask, because I continue so see the "There will be no new gameplay" line thrown out there, every single time someone tries to make a comment on interperting what happens in the ending...

For me, with a game like ME 3, that is supposed to be conversation driven - I would consider "new" dialogue as gameplay. A very small amount of gameplay, yes...but gameplay nonetheless.

Never saw any responses to this...and my curiousity will not let it go. Posted Image

That Zombie Ash pic is a little creepy...but nothing that would keep me up at night...maybe I am just too desensitized (or too old - did I just say that). I find that it is really hard to be scared anymore....startled sure, but scared...eh.

It might be interactive cutscenes like the confrontation with TIM but much more extended. With decisions affecting not only the immediate dialogue but further decisions.

It's a good point. I guess when people hear the comment no further gameplay they automaticly think it will be just further cinematic scenes. With Mark Meer in the studios I am starting to believe it will be a bit more than "scenes". Sure there will be more interactive gameplay like getting more conversation with TIM (which I feel it doen't need it) and Star Child but I mean really...about 3 months after announcing EC, it is going to be a lot more that a few scenes. It's not like they are fixing the whole game. Just the last 5-10 minutes of the game. Let's just hope Shepard gets more to say in the end.

The question then becomes do you, anyone, Bioware...consider that gameplay?  If not, then the "no new gameplay" thing is accurate...but if not...

I like to think that BioWare is going to make us a surprise and give us what is traditionally considered gameplay.

That's my thought too...and I for one would consider "dialogue" gameplay...but I also see conversation as a very important piece of ME (even w/the amount of auto dialogue in 3)...

Then more pointedly, do you think that Bioware considers dialgoue "traditional" gameplay?

Edit:  For example, let's say that the EC ends up containing ~30-45 minutes of content, the majority of that cutting from cinematics and for this example we'll say 20-25 minutes, then 10-15 minutes of dialogue, and 5-10 minutes of epilgous slides, but no combat.  Would the 10-15 minutes of dialogue be gameplay?  Would it Bioware consider it gameplay?  Would you?

No, I wouldn't think so.  When I hear "gameplay" in terms of BioWare, I think of inventory customization and forward-moving combat.

Yeah why does ME3 have to be that end of the reapers? The whole series has been about the Reapers and they just get rid of them? If they had any plans for future games why kill off all the reapers? If they did continue the reapers for like a ME4 they absolutely could  use these for the next game.

People forget that in RPG's they usually pick one ending as canon. So maybe the destroy ending is that one?

Also what is wierd is that if they were going to end the reapers in Me3 why didn't they include all these?

I'm no expert on BioWare but I can tell you what I consider traditional gameplay. More missions, maybe more story. But the interactive cutscenes would be also cool. In the context of IT it would be nice to see what happens after the Breath Scene but I'm not sure whether BioWare wouldn't  like to leave that for ME4. Posted Image

Well...maybe they will.  If you listen to Javik, he is constantly warning that this is "not even the tip of the iceberg" when it comes to the atrocities that the Reapers can committ...I wouldn't be surprised if we see other "reaper" forces in DLC...

Agreed. There are so many possibilities with huskifying different species and we only get to see a few in ME3. If BioWare were to end the whole Reaper arc now, it would just be a wasted potential.
