I've heard about the Donut song before from my brother. And while I'm on the subject of rvb, which season is it hen Simmons is making a bid for the leadership of RVB after Sarge 'dies'?

Gah, ending an episode of a TV show on a cliffhanger should be against the law!

Now I gotta wait another week...

My only complaint about RvB Posted Image Aside from the music in season 9 & 10 Posted Image

Hah, I wasnt even talking about RvB.

LoK? Which had a huge wtf ending and I seriously want to know what's happening next?

Hah, I wasnt even talking about RvB.

As for the music from Season 9? Spiral, On Your Knees, Falling Towards the Sky, and Can't Trust Anybody Now are all awesome!

And dont forget Bow Chicka Bow Wow and Donut: The Musical from the soundtrack!

Hell, even the Pelican's 30 second little song is awesome!

How dare you imply season 9 has substandard music, my good sir. How dare  you!

WHOOPS sorry Posted Image I was thinking mostly of the S10 trailer and first episode songs, I hate rap. (And by rap, I mean more like hiphop, dance music stuff, I don't mind that style of singing) I do like Falling From The Sky though, and the Pelican's theme is one of my favourite RvB tunes Posted Image

But dont forget, Los Dos Laredos/Acordeones is still the best RvB song ever. Of all time.

Kind of like RvB's musical version of Conrad Verner Posted Image

Yes, Legend of Korra was what I was talking about. The ending raised so many questions...

I count that as an understatement.

@buns Gotta agree with you there. In fact, I would suggest that it is one of the best pieces of music ever. Of all time.

I wouldnt be surprised if that was originally intended to be a two part episode. The talk with Tenzin about Korra's hallucinations really doesnt fit too well into the flow of the episode.

Also, I've been spending too much time in this thread. The second Korra called her visions hallucinations I thought "She's indoctrinated!"

Maybe this Korra beat indoctrination and defeated the Reapers, and that's why they're a Legend?

BTW, what did you guys think about my observation about the change in the code of conduct that came right before ME3 was released?

I'm still trying to figure out who who were referring to when you said @buns.

I'm figuring its me, since my gamertag is Bunster, and its also the name of my rogue in WoW, but I'm not exactly sure. I'm kind of tired.

I've thought about the correlation too, but it was also pretty arguement/troll heavy in these forums before ME3 released.

Well, at least I somehow understood what your phone meant, via me luckily also using a name that begins with Buns.

Huh. I always thought it was in season 4. I ddo enjoy Grif's comment when Simmons does as such. Then again, Sarge is nuts.
Also, concerning Legend of Korra, I hear that a certain technqiue waterbenders possess can be used without the full moon.

Yeah, apparently it can be.

They seem to be making all the specialized forms of bending way more common. The entire police force can metalbend, and lightning generation is used at the power plants to provide electricity.

Funny thing was, I KNEW control was a bad idea, and yet out of fear of killing EDI and the geth, I chose synthesis.
Damn, Javik was some kind of right when he said Despair is the Reaper's greatest weapon.

Well at least you sounded coherent. It was 2:30 AM for me because I wasn't about to end the game with only an hour-and-a-half left, so I pushed through the early morning hours. I thought my teammates were gone, I didn't know what the kid was saying and I only picked blue (control) because I thought that was the Paragon choice. Hell if I knew what was what. I had to Google the next morning to understand what I picked and what happened afterwards.

I kind of think BioWare relied on us staying up late trying to finish the game.

Make us as out of it as Shepard was at the time.

Not sure if you missed this or not, but the Stargazer scene's background isnt just based on a classic image, it's taken directly from the artwork of this album which is based on that classic image. I believe there is a clue hidden in the lyrics of that album somewhere, though I'm not sure if we've discovered what it is or not.

Perhaps the clue is here.

Yeah actually this is another song that has an unnerving amount of parallels to the catalyst scene.

This. Is. Awesome.

Lyrics to Starchild :

[Part I (Wanderer of Time)]

So mysterious is your world,

concealed beyond the stars

Far away from the earth,

it flows one with time and dark as the night

Million shapes and colours

are storming inside your mind

Creating endless dimensions

Forming universes without walls

Let go! of the stars, the stars that fell into the sea

Let go! of your thoughts and dreams,

what can you see now

You cannot save them anymore

- Wanderer of time -

It's too late now

- Creator of Dimensions -

Destroy the walls of time

Hands of the blind are holding your fate

Tides of life will take you away, will take you away

Starchild!

Visions are born from the unknown force

It dominates the way of time

The dream only ends, when the worlds come to an end

Starchild!

You cannot escape to the dark streams of the sea,

to suppress your dreams

Nothing can keep you away from the need to create

'cause your path is free...

[Part II (Buring Star)]

I've hold the fire within myself

Years I've walked in the coldest winds

Through the deserts of sand and snow

The time is passing and I kno;

that I'm wasting my life, destroying my dreams

I'm diving into the bottomless sea

From sorrow and pain I find my strenght

the more pain I feel, the more I see

Now I'm watching my life flowing in the dark

like streams of fear running through my heart

And it's wearing me down until I'm gone

Soon I'll join the endless whirls of stars

And I fall deeper into the unknown voids

Something is dying, yet something is born

And I fall into infinity like a burning star

When will I find my silent dawn

I fall like a burning star!

[Part III (The Creation)]

The curtains of mist are fading

and the veils of star clouds are revealed

Storms of new energy

flows in the depths of my mind

New constellations are born

in total harmony of perfection

And the dissonant unbalance was broken

as the colours fell straight from the light

[Part IV (The Sea of Stars)]

I'm floating in the sea of stars,

I'm drifting away from the shore

I will be lost in the dream when the dark days come

But I will make the time run backwards and

I'll make the stars shine again

I will light up the sky to a bright crimson nights

... And they'll shine together forever

With brilliant silver colours they'll shine forever

[Part V (Finale)]

The whirls of stars takes you now far away

away from the cold nightmare

Let go of you thoughts and dreams

and you will feel the warmth once again

Starchild! in the Sea of Stars you fall

You fall like a burning star!

Starchild! in the Sea of Stars you fall

... But there is no end to creation

Good catch

For some reason I read 'What can you see now?' to the tune of Who Can It Be Now
