Anyone else find it kinda strange that the lengthier version of the launch trailer is labeled the "Extended Cut Trailer"? I understand that it is, yes, an extended version of the original cinematic trailer. But that language ...

Well, all that stuff has yet to happen, with the Normady, Alliance & Turian ships, Shepard on the ground with Makos & Hammerheads...

And they also look like they're on the offensive, not just trying to get to a beam (or similar)

Yeah but the events in the cinematic trailers don't necessarily happen in the game.

For example: This ME2 Cinematic Trailer.

You're right, it could be nothing, or it could be part of the extended cut. Maybe the whole extended cut is an extended version of that, but, like, and hour long or something. Just suggesting stuff Posted Image We know there's more, and all we know for sure is that the Rachni are important to the final battle with the Reapers.

Damn right there's more! Even if IT doesn't end up true, there has to be more, and this is all I need to believe that.

Besides the disturbing imagery of destruction and death, another kid playing with the same alliance fighter toy, and Parliament getting razed by a laser while Coates is chilling in it?

Edit: Big Ben's hands magically changed between that shot.

Yeah... I have to agree. The clock tower was about to get the top cut off by the looks of it. The in game 'Coats' also looks nothing like the guy in the tower, but we only assume the person talking is the guy in the tower. He looks to be built more like Vega than the guy we are introduced to as Coats though. Not sure why, but he rubbed me the wrong way in the trailer and in the game. I can't stand his voice.

It's weird that Bioware stated that mass Relays can be rebuilt and nobody starves to death. But the main thing that caught my eye was that Shepard can be reunited with his/her LI. So high hopes for that.

Well in ME he also voices Gavin Archer and Admiral Han'Gerrel, so that's probably why. Both likable characters at first, but then you change your mind after finding out more. If Coats does turn out to be indoctrinated, then all three follow the same pattern.

I've also heard the characters he's voiced in other Bioware game tend to do the same...

What if everyone was Indoctrinated and Shepard was the only one left on Earth to finish the fight. And yes your Squad are Indoctrinated to/Normandy. won't that be epic to fight everyone you care about and you have to save the galaxy by ourself plus no God Child if this was going to be the Extended cut.

Well, there's the high pitched ringing that starts around the fifty three second mark that's really annoying...
Why would they put that in a trailer?

Uh every single one of those events took place. the assasination of Nassana Dantius, Jack's escape from Purguatory, Grunt's rite of passage, the assault on Horizon, all of them happened, not exactly in that manner but they all took place.

I want whatever mods Grunt had on his Claymore that allowed him to explode a thresher maw's head in one shot.

Oh man, can you imagine if multiplayer had thresher maw fights?

Work them in as a wave 11 bonus that appears randomly and gives extra credits.

It'd be all 'Get to the extraction point! Hah! Just kidding, theres no shuttle there, just a thresher maw!'

Then you'd have to kill it while also surviving the regular wave 11 enemies.

so guys I have some 7000 ems and noticed that while other people can reload in the ending sequences I can't. could whether or not you can reload be related to ems and if so why? also if you have very low ems and chose to keep the collector base you only get the choice for control yet you still have a gun. odd isn't it? the gun has to be for symolic purpose or else it wouldn't be necessary at all in an ending where you can't choose destroy.

That'd be cool, but I still want a game mode that's only Husks & Swarmers, but lots of them, like Halo's Gruntpocalypse

That'd be like the easiest gold match to solo in human vanguard history, though.

about the reload thing, did you play any further once the game brought you back to cerebus. Because the final sequence reload is a standard restart mission reload and if you go to another plan or happen to do another side mission or something the reload is replaced.

Custom wave maps would be cool. A game mode where you get to pick what type of enemy you fight and how many of them. So you could play levels with just banshees and phantoms or levels with wave after wave of husks.

What I was talking about was reloading the gun. I've seen playthroughs where people can reload their gun and I can't do that. And in response to you masterblaster I realize that. My point is that it's more than that though the gun isn't even there physically at all.

Oh. Yeah, actually, I think that may have happened to me as well the last time I played. I had 7000+ as well and I'm OCD about reloading my gun, I do constantily if I've fired, and not once did I notice my gun actuall reload.... I must go and try this out. Although, it may jsut be a glitch.

Shepard says this line to James Vega on earth as the Paragon response...
Renegade is "Let's do to the Reapers what they did to us. Let's hurt them. Stay focused. Don't go losing the fight before throwing your first punch"...

Hmm, platinum level. Ends with a Thresher Maw on Tuchanka, a Cerberus Gunship at Firebase White, and a Harvester on Firebase Giant. In addition to final wave. And you have to survive. Killing the boss nets extra credits.
